So far my Burton Mission bindings have performed flawlessly. Great adjustability, flex, and feel. These are the bindings I learned to Snowboard in and they suited that application perfectly. I have moved up to the Burton Cartel and to be honest the cheaper Mission bindings seem to be just as good. And easier to ride with.
I had the opportunity to use my new WWW Rocker yesterday. As a green rider I found the new rocker to be...in a word...AWESOME !!
I cant believe how much easier it is to ride than a standard camber board. Its like cheating !!! I was riding switch, stringing together 360's, and pulling off long butters. This was never possible on my old board. If you are inexperienced,as I am, I strongly recommend taking a look at the K2 WWW Rocker. My riding has progressed leaps and bounds the first time out with one. Cheers!
Pros: Great Adjustability, Very comfortable strap, Easy in and out
The Cartel is a very well made binding. Ridden back to back with my Burton Missions the Cartel seems to be more responsive, but the highbacks can press into the back of a persons calf creating some discomfort. As a beginner, the Cartel bindings seemed to require more concentration to ride. The Mission bindings were way more forgiving, albeit less responsive. If your looking to step up to a very high quality and responsive binding, you cant go wrong with the Cartel.
