"Great Goggles" 2/28/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Dragon APXs Goggles
  • Pros:  Great lens quality, Peripheral view unmatched, Easy to change out lens
  • Cons:  Expensive,

Experience:   Got these with the Blue Steel lens and also the yellow-blue ion rpl. Usually wear the yellow-blue lens unless its blue bird, then I go with the Blue steel. Super easy to change out the lens. Literally takes seconds. Super comfortable, you can forget you have them on. I hear that the regular APX goggles sometimes don't fit well with a helmet but I wear these with my RED Mutiny and they fit just fine. These are actually about the size of my old Dragon Mace goggles except it's all lens and no frame.
"Good Helmet" 2/28/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Good fit, Comfortable padding,
  • Cons:  Not adjustable, Venting,

Experience:   I have used this helmet for a season and I am happy with this lid. Although it is not adjustable the medium size helmet fits me well. I wear a 7 1/4 fitted hat. The padding inside makes the helmet more comfortable than my old Giro Surface that fit well but doesn't have the soft padding. The helmet kept me warm and has two vents that are supposed to bring air in from the front to cool you down when it gets hot. But, the vents don't really do anything. Overall still a very good helmet.
"Great Socks" 1/17/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2013 Burton Emblem Socks Men's
  • Pros:  Good price,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Snug and comfy

Experience:   Great pair of socks. Used to wear all kinds of socks to board in but after getting Burton socks I can't go back. They just fit and feel better when you're boarding. On the expensive side for socks but these were on sale on Trusnow. Worth the money.

  • Name: 2012 Dragon Mace Goggles
  • Pros:  Looks Great, Doesn't Fog, Good Coverage
  • Cons:  Price,

Experience:   These are great goggles. They are on the bigger side and if that its what you are looking for, these look great. Haven't had a problem with fogging and they fit me well. I just bought a helmet and they fit on it with no problems. A little pricey but if you can get them on sale they are well worth the money. I have the blue ionized lens, use it for all conditions. Not too dark on overcast days and still dark enough on bright days. Everything just looks really clear.
"Just the basics" 12/30/2011

  • Name: 2012 Giro Surface S Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Light weight, Comfortable, Price
  • Cons:  No adjustable vents,

Experience:   Just got the Giro Surface in black denim. It has some cool style to it. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. Helmet is pretty light weight, and on the cheaper side for a quality name brand helmet. Only cons I would have to point out are the lack of adjustable vents like on some of the other Giro helmets. It only has six slits to allow for venting. And, although it claims to be low-profile, it still looks and sits like any other helmet. I measured my own head size and the sizing is right on with the easy to adjust sizing dial.
"So far so good" 12/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Ozone
  • Pros:  Super Comfortable, Light Weight, Lacing System
  • Cons:  None,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   Just got these boots and they are just as advertised. Super comfy, light weight, and lots of features. I had the 32 Lashed prior to these and thought they were the most comfortable boots around, but these are just as comfy. Will post again after they are a little more broken in.
"Great Boot but..." 12/2/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Thirty Two Lashed Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Super comfortable, Light weight, Good Flex
  • Cons:  Durability,
  • Fit:  stiff
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  10.5

Experience:   Had these boots for three seasons, but only ride for two weeks a season. I was super happy with these boots. They are really comfortable, good flex, and seemed to be holding up pretty well. But, the inner lacing system that holds your ankle to the boot ripped out of one of the boots. Don't know if this is just a defect or if its the craftsmanship. Otherwise I would have given these boots 5 stars.
