"Favorite Board" 11/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 DC MLF Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Off Trail,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Shape, Flex, Pop

Experience:   I bought this board a year ago and it was my first true twin shaped board. I have to say I'm in love with it. The shape of the nose makes this board sail through the powder and the true twin makes for freestyle riding. It has great pop for hitting jumps and hips off the trails. Not only do I take it through the trees, but I got through the trees with confidence because I know that I have great control and can get myself out of trouble with ease.
"Great Fit!" 10/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Bern Baker Snowboard Helmet Black Seth Wescott w/ Black Audio Men's
  • Pros:  Fit, Comfort, Not Bulky
  • Cons:  Not comfortable without winter liner,

Experience:   I just got my Bern helmet and I'm very pleased with it. It fits great and the winter setup keeps me warm, but doesn't make me overheat. I love that there are speakers that come with the plush winter padding over the ears. I highly recommend this helmet!
"Not bad" 11/1/2010

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Pyramid Studs Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Don't come off easily, Sturdy,

Experience:   When it comes to stomp pads, the Dakine studs are one of the better kinds that I have used. Because they're metal, they won't break off like the plastic spikes do. Also, you can really scrape off packed snow well from the bottom of your boots. I recommend this set of studs. Another cool thing is you can arrange the studs however you want.
"Great for small faces" 10/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 Electric EG.5 Goggles
  • Pros:  Design, Lens,
  • Cons:  Small,

Experience:   These are great goggles if you have a small head/face. I ordered these before I realized that they were a smaller goggle. That being said, they are a great goggle and are very comfortable. They don't fog very easily either.
"Excellent" 1/2/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Grenade Brainwasher Gloves
  • Pros:  Light weight, Fit, Dexterity

Experience:   Seeing as I live in the NW these gloves see more days on the mountain than my thicker, cold weather gloves. Rarely do I find that my hands get too cold in these. Because they're light enough my hands don't sweat and and they're just the right thickness to keep my fingers from freezing. These gloves have a great fit to them also. The fingers are just the right length and the palm is the perfect width. Definitely don't buy these if they're going to be your only pair of gloves though. These are actually the exact same glove as the Bob Gnarley but just different colors (obviously). The biggest thing about these gloves is the dexterity that I have with them. I would buy these again.
"Not bad" 12/23/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Society Snowboard Jacket Women's
  • Pros:  Not bulky, Simple,
  • Cons:  Needs more length,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Runs a little small like most Burton stuff.

Experience:   So far I've only ridden this season in the Society Jacket. Its not bad, but its not my favorite. Sure it looks nice, but I think it could use a little more length at the bottom. Also the pit vent zipper tends to get jammed up when you're trying to close it while wearing it. If you don't like zipping the jacket up all the way this probably isn't a good one for you either because if you don't, the flap of fabric that covers the zipper will annoy you. I do like the simplicity of the jacket and that its not bulky at all. The key clip inside the left pocket is a nice touch so you don't have to worry about losing them. All in all its not my favorite jacket but I will still wear it.
"Trevs" 12/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Spy Trevor Goggles
  • Pros:  Lens, Shape, Doesn't Fog

Experience:   I recently purchased the 2012 Louie Vito Trevor goggles and am 100% satisfied with my purchase. Typically I don't like a super dark lens and I found that these goggles blocked out enough light without making it feel like I was wearing blinders. These goggles also haven't fogged up on me yet, which is obviously very important. The shape of the frame makes it so I have a very full field of vision and I can see obstacles (mostly out of control people) coming in from what would typically be a blind spot. The foam is also very cushy and soft.

  • Name: 2012 Casual Industrees The Sea Dog Beanie Black
  • Pros:  Fit, Style, Texture
  • Fit:  Just right
  • Description:  Absolutely perfect

Experience:   Casual Industrees really nailed it with these beanies. They're very stylish and there is a great selection of colors. The color choices aren't the typical obnoxiously brights that end up being just a fad. The fit is absolutely perfect. There is no slouch but and they still cover my ears, which is nice. I just bought two of them because I love them so much. I bought these directly from the Casual Industrees guys at the snow expo, and they are super cool too!
"Best Jacket Ever!" 1/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Vans Blanchett Insulated Snowboard Jacket Women's
  • Pros:  Insulation, Weight, Waterproof
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Perfect! (length is supposed to be longer)

Experience:   The Vans Blanchett jacket has by far been the best jacket that I've worn to date. The fit is perfect. I like how it is made to be a little longer on the backside so you don't get snow down the back of your pants as easily. The weight of the jacket is perfect. I typically don't like to wear a lot of layers so I am perfectly fine in most conditions with just my thermal and a t-shirt underneath but if it is super cold out, I have just the right amount of room to throw on an extra layer. There are also plenty of pockets to store everything that goes to the mountain with you whether its just your car keys or a mixture of different items that is necessary to take with you while riding. Did I mention that it just flat out looks great?
"Good leash" 11/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Airblaster Air Leash Snowboard Leash
  • Pros:  Easy on and off, Style,

Experience:   If you go to a mountain where they enforce wearing a leash I recommend the Airblaster Airleash. The Airleash is pretty decent looking but the best part about it is you can leave the strap around you leg on, and all you have to do is un-clip it instead of fiddling around with a clasp being hooked to your boot.
"Love the Trevor" 10/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Spy Trevor Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Style, Fit, Durable

Experience:   These are a super awesome goggle. The price is low and the quality is high! I love how these are a bigger goggle and they shape of the frame looks great. They also can take a beating. I highly recommend a pair of the Trevor goggle. I am going to buy a second pair.
"Great Goggles" 10/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Dragon DX Snowboard Goggles
  • Pros:  Fit face well, Don't fog,
  • Cons:  Scratched,

Experience:   I love my DX goggles. I've never had them fog up on me and they fit my face really well. My only complaint is I got a scratch after only 2 uses, but that's my own fault.
"Favorite Beanie" 10/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Neff Daily Beanie - Men's
  • Pros:  Fit, Style, Colors
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Perfect

Experience:   I have this beanie in a couple different colors because I love it! It is very soft and the appearance of it is so simple, yet stylish. I most likely will buy another one of these beanies in another color.
"Great Sound" 9/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Skullcandy Lowrider
  • Pros:  Great sound, Fit,
  • Cons:  Can't wear under a helmet,

Experience:   I have a pair of the low riders. They sound great to me. My only issue is I can't wear them snowboarding since I always wear a helmet.
"Best Boots Ever" 4/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 32 Lashed
  • Pros:  Great fit, Light weight, Laces
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8 Men's
  • Boot Size:  9 Men's

Experience:   I love everything about the Lashed boot. From the way they fit to the way they look. I've had a lot of problems with my ankle in the past and used to have to take a lot more breaks on runs but ever since I switched to these sweet boots my ankle problems have almost gone away. Because of this I've had a lot more fun on the mountain and have been able to progress faster than I did in several different boots that I've had in the past. GET SOME!
"Super Soft!" 4/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Tipsy Fitted S/S TShirt
  • Pros:  Super soft!, Design,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Not quite a small but I wouldn't say it runs big

Experience:   I bought this shirt in white. It is one of the softest shirts I own. I just hope it shrinks a tiny bit. Not a lot, just a bit. All in all I'm lovin' the shirt.
"Great Colors" 4/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Checkmate Bandana Womens
  • Pros:  Colors, Light weight,

Experience:   Just wore mine on the mountain today! It looks awesome and it's a nice way to cover the face when it gets a little nasty out.
"Love the purple!" 4/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Get Rad Bandana
  • Pros:  Great color, Light weight,

Experience:   I ordered this in purple and I love the color. It's a nice true purple. The photo doesn't really do a justice to how the color really looks.
"Avoid Dakine Pads With Spikes" 4/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Petal Mat Stomp
  • Pros:  Sticks to board,
  • Cons:  Spikes rip off,

Experience:   I've gone through several Dakine stomp pads with these stupid spikes. If you have boots with a decent tread the spikes will rip right off. Go with some type of stud. They don't break and do a better job than these stomp pads.
"Really Soft Shirt" 4/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog The Craft Fitted Ss
  • Pros:  Super soft!, Color,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Fits like a small that runs a little bigger but not as big as a normal medium

Experience:   I bought this shirt in blue and I love it. It's a super soft t-shirt and really comfortable. With the fit it runs a little bigger than a normal small would run but I still really like the overall fit of the shirt.
"Nice stickers" 4/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Forum First Chair 24Pk
  • Pros:  Multiple colors, Looks great,

Experience:   I got this pack of stickers when it was $0.99. Couldn't ask for a better deal and these stickers are awesome looking. Plus I have enough to share with my all friends!
"Great Backpack!" 4/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Mission Womens
  • Pros:  Size, Durability, Stays Dry

Experience:   This is a fantastic backpack! It is the perfect size for going to the mountain and going to class. The board straps are awesome and I even use those to tie down outerwear when transporting my gear to and from the mountain. Also, there are padded pockets inside for laptops, ipods, cellphones, etc. I would recommend this backpack to anyone!
"Spikes rip off" 4/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Spade
  • Pros:  Sticks to board,
  • Cons:  Spikes rip off,

Experience:   I really do not recommend these stomp pads. The spikes ripped right off because they could not handle the tread of my boots. The first time I wore a pair of Vans boots and used one of these pads I lost half of the spikes. Buy studs instead. They don't break and they do a better job.
"Decent Boot" 4/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Vans Encore
  • Pros:  Durable,
  • Cons:  Stiffness, Boa,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  8 Men's
  • Boot Size:  9 Men's

Experience:   First off if you like a boot with the Boa system these are pretty decent. But if you're like me and have ankle problems I would stay away. I ended up buying a different pair of boots because the overall stiffness of this boot combined with the Boa system ended up causing a lot more pain in my bad ankle than normal. But, if you aren't broken like me, these are a good pair of supportive boots.
"Nice Headphones" 4/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Skullcandy Hesh
  • Pros:  Sound, Fit,

Experience:   These headphones have great sound to them. I usually use these when I wear a beanie because I can hear really well even with these sitting on top of the beanie itself. I usually trade them off between a few different sets of headphones just because they're a little big for my every day use. All in all I really enjoy the Hesh.
"Great Bindings" 4/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Union Sierra Contact SL
  • Pros:  Light Weight, Straps, Adjustable
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I paired these with my K2 Vavavoom Rocker. This turned out to be a great combination. I used to have the Ride Delta MVMNT bindings and these are considerably a better binding. They're nice and light and you can really adjust these bindings to your preference. I don't spend my whole day in the park either and I'm comfortable riding these everywhere. These are the best bindings I've ever had and got them for an incredible price.
"Bakerssssss" 4/10/2010

  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L

Experience:   If you like a baggie fit these are really nice. They're just an all around great snowboard pant for basically any time of year.
