"Fun, cute shirt" 1/9/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Sierra Headphones TShirt
  • Pros:  nice quality, cute design (female snowboarder), optimum fit
  • Cons:  none,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Fitted without being tight

Experience:   I am 5'3 and wear a size Medium shirt. Sometimes snowboard company shirts are long, which is great for tucking into snowpants and not having a gap, but not so good to wear with jeans. This t finds a happy medium - it is not super long, but does stay tucked it. I have worn it with jeans so far and the fit is perfect - you can leave it untucked and not look sloppy or tuck it in and wear a belt without it being too bulky at your waist.
"love these bindings" 12/30/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Ride LXh Womens
  • Pros:  durable, easy to fasten,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I bought these as a spare set of bindings for my 2nd board and have ended up using them almost exclusively. They are easy to adjust, even when getting covered in ice, and I never have a problem getting my boot in and settled. I purchased a M (wear a size 7 boot). I am an intermediate boarder who goes out about 20-30 days a year and these have seen probably 45 days on the mountain so far with no complaints.
"stylish and very warm" 12/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Foursquare Insulated Hoodie El Polo Stripe
  • Pros:  very warm, snug fit makes it look stylish with any attire, well made
  • Cons:  sleeves are tight if you are muscular at all,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  snug, sleeves are a bit long and tight

Experience:   Great jacket - perfect unzipped in fall and spring and zipped it will keep you warm even in the cold of winter.
"great helmet" 12/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Red Trace 2 Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  perfect fit - even for a big head!, easy to put a skullcap under, comfortable

Experience:   Got this for a friend and he loves it. Not only has it saved him from multiple concussions but it is comfortable with glasses or goggles. It is easy to fasten, even in mittens.
"great boots" 12/27/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  forgiving for entry-level rider,
  • Cons:  tight across the toes after a day of riding,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  7
  • Boot Size:  7

Experience:   Great beginner boots; the inner and outer lacing lets you set the boot exactly as you like it for whatever your style of riding is. The ease of lacing is perfect too!
"Love this bag" 12/27/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (3) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Split Roller Small Travel Bag Men's
  • Pros:  lots of stretchy pockets, great wheels - no sticking or falling over,

Experience:   Bought this type of bag (although in a paisley print) in the Zurich airport when my regular bag broke. Have traveled extensively overseas and domestically and have never been disappointed in this bag. It easily carries enough for a week of varied activities (just took it on a combo job interview/snowboarding week long trip).
"So convenient" 2/12/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Wheelie Locker Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Balance; easy to move, Space for 3 boards (2 w bindings), Single place for all your gear
  • Cons:  Heavy if overloaded,

Experience:   LOVE this bag. I have taken it on many trips, even overseas and it is sturdy and so convenient. Room for multiple boards so sometimes a friend and I share the bag and there is still room for our gear.
"didn't buy after trying them on" 10/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Mint Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  low cost, warm, Burton name
  • Cons:  not as comfortable as the Emerald, no BOA lacing, not as flexible as desired
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  6.5
  • Boot Size:  6.5

Experience:   Boots should ALWAYS be tried on before purchase because everyone's feet are slightly different. A friend had recommended these as entry level boots but they seemed to pinch the front of my foot and let my heel move. As I walked, the laces quickly loosened, which clearly will not work well on the mountain!
"Love these sunglasses" 1/9/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Spy Twiggy Sunglasses
  • Pros:  quality materials, fit well,
  • Cons:  none so far,

Experience:   I have a small face and therefore it is difficult to find sunglasses that don't overwhelm me. These are a nice medium size frame and fit perfectly although they are larger than glasses I typically purchase (such as Oakly Sub-Zero's). I have gotten a lot of compliments on them and am very pleased. The shade of the lens makes them work well in direct sunlight but also can be worn at dusk without hampering your vision at all. Overall - a definite good purchase!
"made me buy my own rocker :)" 12/30/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Reverse Crew Snowboard
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Powder,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  so fun on powder,
  • Cons:  very different to ride from a standard board,

Experience:   Borrowed this board for a day and loved it even though it was too long for me (I am 5 ft. 3 in. 120# and usually ride a 147 Burton or 151 Bitch board). I fell the first few times but once I got the hang of it on powder, I was determined to go buy my own. I recommend this for any intermediate or better boarder especially on fresh pow! I was wearing Burton Emerald boots and K2 bindings.
"Great goggles" 2/12/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Anon Solace Painted Snowboard Goggles Women's
  • Pros:  good range of sight, comfortable, fog free

Experience:   I bought the ones with pink lenses and have no complaints at all. These goggles have a great range of sight so I don't feel closed in or like I am missing peripheral vision. I have had them 2 seasons now and have never had a problem with them fogging. Also I crash a lot and they have held up very well. The interchangeable strap is also fun.
