"Great Bag!" 11/23/2009
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Ak 31L
  • Pros:  Durable, Light, Shovel Pocket, , Snowboard Compatible,
  • Cons:  No Outter Pockets,

Experience:   I have recently purchased this backpack and i love it. It's spacious, made out of durable material, it's lightweight and it can carry a snowboard. My problem with it is that it only has one upside down outter pocket which can be only used for a shovel, no real outter pockets for anything else. the fact that this backpack is equipped to carry a snowboard is ultra-cool. I gave it 4-star rating because of the lack of outter pockets. It is also compatible with hydration packs. It's a little small for my taste, i could have used the 36L or maybe 40L, but that's my problem. I recommend snowboarders and hickers to buy this bag.
"GREAT!!" 4/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Arctic
  • Pros:  Warm, Looks Great, Waterproof, Breathable, Pants to Jacket Interface,
  • Cons:  None so far,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Warm, Waterproof, Durable

Experience:   this is my second jacket after buying the Burton Slub. Though the Slub has more pockets, i like this jacket better (It's cheaper too). it looks nicer, and i has the same features of 10,000mm waterproofing and 10,000G breathability. it also has the burton jacket to pants interface. I highly recommend this jacket and at 70% off, you cannot possible go wrong!!! Thanks Sierra!
"Pretty Good" 4/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Dakine BFly Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Good Grip,

Experience:   I have just tried those Stomp Pads. I fixed it on my Sierra Crew 2 days ago and tried them on today. They work just fine. Good grip and pretty useful. The only downside is the shape of the pads. So if you don't mind the girly butterfly shape on your board, these pads are pretty awesome.
"Hail The V-Rocker!" 3/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Custom V-Rocker
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Powder
  • Pros:  Stable, Fun, Great Colors,

Experience:   I have recently bought & tried this board in 159. first of, i love the graphics (or lack of graphics). though i'm not a big fan of the color orange, the colors on this board are brilliant! the top design of this board is simple & neat, my kind of design. The board itself ride smoothly, it's quite stable and it's very comfortable all around. The down point is that i was riding it with regular cartels coupled to burton retro discs. i am sure i will get much more out of it once i get my CO2 ESt bindings. All in all, awesome board, great deal at 50% off at sierra!
"Verm Very Good Board!" 3/24/2010

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Crew Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds
  • Pros:  Stable, Progressive, Fun,
  • Cons:  Breaking in the board takes time,

Experience:   I have purchased this board after looking at and reviewing many boards for progressive all mountain riding. I have received it through FedEx international a week back and i have tried it yesterday. i love everything about this board, the way it rides, the stability, the graphics. before i bought it, i wasn't too excited about the graphics (sorry Phil!) but when i got it, i instantly changed my mind. i loved the colors and the overall graphics! they're sick. I have removed a start because the board takes quite a bit to break in, so it needs another day or two. Great board and a greater price tag. Great job Burton & Sierra!I highly recommend it to riders of all levels. Also, a BIG shout out to Fedex. This board arrived in a great condition though it was flown thousands of miles for delivery.

  • Name: 2010 Nitro Volume
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds
  • Pros:  Cheap, Easy To Curve,
  • Cons:  a bit stiff,

Experience:   I have borrowed this board from my cousin and used it for about 6 times or so. The board has a descent response, it's easy to curve and it has a nice price tag at Sierra. I recommend this board to beginners who are looking for an affordable, easy to ride & fun board .

  • Cons:  None So Far,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   This is a great pair of pants. It's solid, comfortable, waterproof and it fits me just right. Not too baggy, not too tight, just right. they're breathable enough, not too breathable, nevertheless, i recommend these pants for a great day on the moutain. Goes great with my Burton Slub jacket!
"Sick Jacket!" 3/15/2010

  • Pros:  Rigid, Waterproof, Nice Colors,
  • Cons:  slightly baggy,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

"Super Cool Goggles" 3/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Anon Figment Painted
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Don't Fog, Sick Colors,
  • Cons:  None Yet,

Experience:   I have bought these goggles in Black/Amber a few weeks ago and tried them on a couple of days ago. I love them. They're comfortable on my face, never fog up and go great with my Hi-Fi Helmet. Great value @ 50% from Sierra!
"Awsome All Mountain Boot!" 3/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Ruler
  • Pros:  Very Comfortable, Warm,
  • Cons:  Speed Lacing could use more work, Takes time to break in,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   I have recently purchased this boot as my first boot after reading many reviews and talking to different riders. The big list of boots shrank down to Ruler & Hail. Since Ruler is stiffer than Hail, i decided to go with Ruler, and boy am i glad i did! The boot is super comfy, durable, keeps your feet warm throughout the day on the moutain. I have given it 4 stars because of the lacing system. It's pretty easy to set up, i admit, but it didn't feel very durable. i had to tighten it a few times in one day. I already knew that the Ruler takes a little time to break in, so i wore it around the house for a couple of hours before taking it to the moutain the next day. Burton Ruler is a great boot at an unbeatable price tag at sierra!
"Good For The Price" 3/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Struggle Bandana
  • Pros:  Nice Colors, Breathable,
  • Cons:  Cheap Fabric, Gets Wet Easily,

Experience:   I bought this bandana when it was over 2$ a while back. It is made out of cheap fabric, but it has nice colors and it is pretty breathable. It attracts moisture and gets wet easily. However, it does keep you reasonably warm. all is all, good bandana for the price.
