"Warm & Stylish" 4/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 686 Smarty Low Rise Snowboard Pants Women's
  • Pros:  Removal liner, Boa Compatible, reinforced ankle cuff
  • Cons:  not enough pockets,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Relaxed

Experience:   I'd wanted these pants since I first saw them onsale on Sierra. My size was already out of stock. I gave in and bought these at a local shop in my town. End of season sale so no biggie. I was a little disappointed that there are no back pockets, just faux pockets. 3 pockets total on the pants. I was kind of wanting a lower pant pocket like my Sessions. The fit is relaxed and if I get a little warm I can remove the liner. I could even wear the liner around the house on it's own. If I do lose or gain weight, I can still adjust the sizing both on the pants and the liner. The cuff around the ankle is also reinforced so hopefully no more frazzled pant hems. I plan on wearing these pants 100+ days of next season so they better hold up.
"Good boot for all levels" 2/8/2011

  • Name: 2011 Burton Mint Snowboard Boots Women's
  • Pros:  Speed lace system for upper/lower zones, improved inner lacing system, snug fit (heat moldable liner)
  • Cons:  a little more heel lift than I expected,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8
  • Boot Size:  8

Experience:   Bought these just a few days ago. Love the color (green/white/brown/plaid). At first the fit worried me but after a lap on the hill the boots loosened up. Then there was some pressure on my little toe but that subsided after another run. You just have to work them in a little. I ride from the top of the mountain to the park and so far so good.
"Snug and Stylish" 4/24/2010

  • Name: 2010 Burton Emerald Womens
  • Pros:  Good heel grip, Fits snug, Easy in and out
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8
  • Boot Size:  8

Experience:   I actually bought these from a girl who tried them once and found they were too large. Look out for Burton boots. I've tried on multiple styles of Women's Burton Boots and found I wore 3 different sizes. These luckily fit to size. Easy in once I figured out out the laces worked (I'm used to standard lacing). So far I've riding these in the park, in the powder, ice, slush, jumps. I like the response and comfort. Don't go crazy on tightening the laces, you can cut off the circulation to your toes.
"Like Fitted Sweats" 4/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Chill Womens
  • Pros:  warm and comfy, less casual than a sweat pant,
  • Cons:  rear pocket not really useful,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  A little tighter in the butt than most sweats, loose in the legs

Experience:   If it's a really cold day on the hill I can fit these under my snowpants. Alone, these are very comfy and not a bad workout pant either. Good fit overall. I'm a little wider in the hips so these fit my butt pretty snug.I can feel like a slacker without looking so much like a bum.
"Worth the Buy" 4/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Goggle Case
  • Pros:  sturdy enough to protect your goggles,
  • Cons:  a little bulky,

Experience:   When you have expensive goggles, you want to protect them even if the case may not be super attractive. I have green mirror lenses which scratch very easily. I cram my goggles into my locker every day at work and having a case for them now makes feel much more at ease.
"Quick and Painless" 4/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Flow M9
  • Pros:  Easy set up, Stiff enough for agressive riding, Responsive
  • Cons:  Colors,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   A little trouble at first getting the straps adjusted but once I wasn't so afraid to man handle the bindings, I was good to go. Once I got these set for my boots I haven't had to adjust them yet. The colors are kind of ugly but I can deal with it. It's a sickly yellow and brown. Good response. Taken these on icy to slushy runs, boxes, jumps. No complaints. I just hope these can stand up to my heavy usage.
"All Around Awesome" 4/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Flow Jewel Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Park,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Easy to Manuver, Good stability with speed, Soft landing on the Jumps
  • Cons:  Drags a little in the slush,

Experience:   3 days down, 100+ to go. If you ride like me, 100+ days per season, you need a board that can do it all. I've taken this board off jumps, on boxes, in the slush, on the steeps. Haven't gotten the chance in powder but with reverse camber, it should glide. I got a much smaller size than what I normally ride, 143 (normally I ride a 149). The board response so easily and makes boardslides or spins a cinch. If I can post a 2nd review later, I will. This board has been a lot a fun so far.
"Love 'em and want another pair" 4/13/2010

  • Name: 2010 Vonzipper Chakra Goggles
  • Pros:  Great fit, Great Design,
  • Cons:  more peripheral,

Experience:   I had these before they were stolen. May get another pair especially at this price. Loved the fit, no space between my helmet and goggles. Range of vision could improve.
"Cool Capris" 10/15/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Roxy Carnelian Womens Thermal Pant
  • Pros:  Perfect length so you don't have to tuck into boot, a little loose but okay for me, nice this waist band so it won't cut in
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Perfect length to match up top of boot, fit isn't constricting

Experience:   I ordered the L since no mediums were left. I think they'll be okay. Nice thick waist band to hold in any belly bulge and it won't cut in to you like those skinny waistbands. Good length too so you don't have to tuck into your boots. A little big but I figure it'll shrink just enough.
"Nice Fit and Super Soft" 10/14/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Emblem
  • Pros:  Good length, thickness, softness, Extra stitching on toes,
  • Cons:  a little tight around top,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Good thickness, soft, comfy

Experience:   So far these feel comfy. Nice feel to the touch, comfortable, just a tiny tight around the top but I'm sure that will loosen with wear. Let's see how they hold up through a long season of hard riding. Got 2 pair, may buy a few more of different colors.
"Cool Goggles" 10/14/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Smith Heiress Womens
  • Pros:  Snug fit, quick release clasp, full UV Protection, Nice design, helmet compatible,

Experience:   I can't say if there's any cons yet. When I'm covered in head to toe in powder and these still don't fog up then I'll be singing praises. So far they have a nice snug fit and are a low profile design. I'm sure I'll be getting a lot of people asking me about them this season.
"Black Rainbow - Nice Fit!" 10/14/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Joy Snowboard Jacket Women's
  • Pros:  Back is slightly longer to help cover your booty, Nice Design, multiple pockets, removeable hood, Vents under arms
  • Cons:  Sleeves could be longer, more room in hips for movement, vents cannot be closed (no zippers)
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Sleeves could be a tad longer, little more wiggle room in hips

Experience:   The jackets looks great and fits good too. I have slightly longer arms than your typical girl so this may be why the arms seem just a tad shorter than they could be. The vents are built in. These are no the vents you can zip open/shut. The pocket on the sleeve is perfect for a season pass yet there is a Yo-yo pass holder inside the jacket. There are only 2 pockets inside the jacket (one mesh with button closure, the other smaller that zips shut. 4 other pockets in front, good size too. Also, the lining on the jacket where your chin would be when you need to zip up all the way is soft.
"Nice Fit!" 10/14/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Analog Subsystem Crew
  • Pros:  Good design, Slightly baggy fit, warm but not too warm
  • Cons:  Collar a little tight, sleeves a little long,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  just right in the shoulders, arms a little long but okay.

Experience:   This is a guy's shirt but I'm a girl and ordered it any how. I like the fit and so far it's warm. I'll see how it stands up to real cold very soon. The black is more like a dark grey and the stripes are florescent yellow.
"Good but could Improve" 10/10/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Lexa Womens
  • Pros:  Good Support, plush ankle strap,
  • Cons:  toe strap always slips off no matter how tight,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I bought these hoping to get a more advanced binding than what I already had. They ride okay but it was very frustrating to have the toe cap come off almost everytime I took a run. I adjusted over and over (changed my stance / angle, even the boot) but never could get them to stay on.
