- Description: Just right
I bought this for hikes up into the mountains where rainstorms are frequent. Sure enough the first day I took it up it rained on us. It was a medium drizzle, that lasted about an hour. I first noticed wetness on my side where the pit zips are, my pack must have pushed the the zipper cover open so I'll put that on me not gear. But make sure the zippers are covered because I got soaked. Next I noticed some moistness on my neck, not wet enough for a drip, but enough to notice its not 100% waterproof. So I would say this jacket is probably a good jacket in light rain and wind storms, just don't expect it to keep you dry if you get caught in a heavy storm. I'll probably keep this as a secondary jacket and upgrade to the OR Helium.
