"Keep you legs warm" 3/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Mid Weight Pant
  • Pros:  Breathable,
  • Cons:  None,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   These pants are pretty breathable, they have tiny vent holes similiar to an air hockey table throughout. Keep my legs warm, and I've never had a problem with moisture, so swoop these us up before they sell out of them.
"More pockets than Rambo would need" 2/17/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Annex Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Great waterproofing, Tons of storage, Comfortable
  • Cons:  Run very long,
  • Pant Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Run Long, waist is normal

Experience:   Great pants, tons of pockets. They do run long, I have other Special Blend pants and these run longer than my other ones. The green is much brighter than the picture is. I have ridden these on very wet days and I never noticed any moisture coming through. I highly recommend these pants to anyone looking for great value at Trusnows great prices.
"My favorite baselayer top" 3/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Mid Venting Treeline Pullover Men's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Mesh Armpit vent,
  • Cons:  None,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   I've used this baselayer top for two seasons now. Extremely comfortable and soft, even after a hard day shreddin I don't want to take it off. The mesh pit vents rock. Never have had a problem with sweat, so obviously it does what its suppose to. Long story short, put this in your cart if haven't already.
"Good but not Great" 8/2/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Outdoor Research Rampart Jacket
  • Pros:  Light weight, Pit zips, Pockets
  • Cons:  Not 100% waterproof, Doesn't fold into itself like other OR jackets,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Just right

Experience:   I bought this for hikes up into the mountains where rainstorms are frequent. Sure enough the first day I took it up it rained on us. It was a medium drizzle, that lasted about an hour. I first noticed wetness on my side where the pit zips are, my pack must have pushed the the zipper cover open so I'll put that on me not gear. But make sure the zippers are covered because I got soaked. Next I noticed some moistness on my neck, not wet enough for a drip, but enough to notice its not 100% waterproof. So I would say this jacket is probably a good jacket in light rain and wind storms, just don't expect it to keep you dry if you get caught in a heavy storm. I'll probably keep this as a secondary jacket and upgrade to the OR Helium.
"Love the Doubledog" 2/3/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Forum Destroyer Doubledog Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,High Speeds,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Poppy , Stable, Catch Free
  • Cons:  On the Heavy Side,

Experience:   Finally got enough rides on this thing to give it a solid review. The Destroyer has more pop than any other board I have ridden, I can easily get more air than any of my buddies on any kicker or booter. I really wanted to pick this up to try out the Doubledog profile and couldn't be happier. The main problem I have with reverse camber boards is at high speeds I don't feel stable. You don't get that feeling with this hybrid profile. It has just enough camber to keep the nose and tail tight to the snow at all speeds, but with perfect blend of rocker that keeps it hook free. As far as construction goes its a solid board from the top sheet to the base. It's in between to stiff and a noodle, giving you the ability to shred the steeps and the park. I haven't taken it anywhere where I felt like I didn't have the right tool for the job. I would have given it a 5 star rating if didn't feel heavy. Forum says it got reduce weight in the tip and tail, but it still feels heavy compared to my other boards. Not a big enough of a deal that it ruins the board for me though. I highly recommend picking this board up before they are no longer available.
"99 cents c'mon" 3/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Get Rad Bandana
  • Pros:  awesome graphic,
  • Cons:  freezes when gets wet,

Experience:   Its gonna do exactly what you think it will, keep your face from freezing.
"SierraScope this" 3/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Capita Sierrascope FK
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Flat Kick is awesome, Great graphic,
  • Cons:  Top sheet chips easily,

Experience:   Great board to learn on in the park. I went from a regular cambered board to this and this helped me progess much quicker. It's at home in the park, but feel free to take it anywhere on the mountain. The X between the bindings does stiffin it up to carve down the mountain, but if you push it to hard the board will start to wash out on you.
"Waterproof, waterproof, oh did I say waterproof" 3/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2008 Special Blend Autograph Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Waterproof, Special Blend Steez, Removable Hood
  • Cons:  No wrist gaters,
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   Obviously it's a shell, so your not limited to what part of the season you can take advantage of 25k waterproofing. Layer up on cold days, and just rock baselayer on spring days and still stay dry. It's Special Blends upper tier of jacket so it does have quality fabrics throughout, not to mention an awesome purple inside liner. You can take off the powder skirt when your wanting to relax without it.
"Dont let them stay wet 2009" 12/30/2009

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Scout
  • Pros:  sweet undergloves, good for the price,
  • Cons:  will asorb water and freeze,

Experience:   these gloves are good, just make sure you wipe the snow off them when your riding. If you dont they will asorb the snow and freeze.
