"BRIGHT Blue" 4/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Achilles Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Great color, Breathable,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Baggy

Experience:   When I first opened the box I was blinded by the blue. But it is a great blue. These pants have tons of pockets. But what I liked best is the pockets have the inside part that folds over as well to prevent anything from falling out of big velcro pockets. These were my first snowboard specific pants so I was happy to find the avalanche tracker built into pants. They do not have insulation perfect for those early and late season days. They have a perfect baggy fit.
"Cadillac Style" 3/24/2010

  • Name: 2010 Burton Custom V-Rocker
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Burton,

Experience:   This board is high tech. The nicest board I've ever owned for sure. This is my first channel board and I was really impressed. Very high quality. The base is neon in color very high vis. The v-rock is more extreme than reverse crew. The infinite ride makes it soft from the start. with the big sale going on you can't go wrong.
"amazing sock" 2/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Emblem
  • Pros:  plush, warm, dry
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  perfect

Experience:   These are the nicest sock I've ever owned. I never usually splurge on expensive socks but when returning to snowboarding this year I decided to go big and I am so glad. I'll never wear a cheap sock when out in the cold and wet all day. They fit and feel great. Everyone at the lodge looks in jealousy when putting boots on. Very warm and dry. Worth every penny.
"Nice bag" 2/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Tour Bag (165cm)
  • Pros:  affordable, stylish,

Experience:   The woodland pattern is nice. For the sale price you can't get a better bag. I did not need wheels, I only carry to car for trips, no airports. this bag is nice for price. You can fit 2 boards if you take bindings off of 2nd board. Worth it if you don't need wheels
"nice lock" 2/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Cool Lock
  • Pros:  small, easy,

Experience:   This is a nice lock to have on you when you need it. Just find a spot for it in the jacket and go. I live in a more metropolitan area outside Detroit and I can't afford not to use it. At some of the local resorts I've been told I'm going overboard but better to be safe than sorry. So far this lock has worked fine. I mainly use it when warming up at the bar when I can't see my board.
"soft bindings" 2/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Union Contact
  • Pros:  soft , flexible, light
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   These were my first soft binding and I can tell the difference. I can feel the flex when learning how to butter back and forth from switch. Being somewhat of a beginner I was still able to shred with these and take it to beginning park features. Also very plush when taking my first jumps and landing them. I am also still able to carve fine on these down the black runs, but they are mid-west black runs.
"Handmade" 2/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Spacecraft Midome
  • Pros:  handmade, stylish,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Forms to dome

Experience:   This beanie forms to your head and does do a great job of covering your ears. I prefer something thicker and bigger(longer)so I can pull it down more, when riding. This is perfect for around town in winter when you don't want a thick stocking cap. The stitching and materials is top notch.
"Great, good lookin' goggles" 2/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  great feel, cool design ,

Experience:   I received these goggles for free when I bought my sierrascope fk, so I was a little skeptical on how they would be. Boy was I wrong, what a great bonus. They fit on my face perfect and I don't think I have a big melon. They feel plush and expensive compared to my $50 smiths. They do seem a little large but there really not. When I compared them to my cheaper smith's they were around the same size it's just the lens is bigger on the von zipper. There bigger because they give you an amazing field of vision. The bronze lens that comes stock is only good in the sun. I have recently ordered a yellow lens for overcast and night riding. I love having goggles that I can change my len's in. I would have never splurged on these goggles myself, I am so stoked I got these from sierra, what an upgrade.
"Believe the hype" 2/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Capita Sierrascope FK
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Low Speeds,Park,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  FK, forgiving,
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   There is not much more I can add that has not already been said. Everything in all the other reviews is true. This is my first reverse camber board and all I can say is HOLY S#*T! I feel like a rockstar on this board. I have hit my first (small)big boy jumps and the landing is so forgiving compared to positive camber where I was always catching a edge if not landing perfectly straight. I can ride switch and am learning how to butter back and forth between stances with ease on this board. For a beginner hitting boxes has never been so easy. On my positive camber board when trying to do frontside board slides I could catch an edge not so on this board. The graphics are sick and colors are amazing. Do yourself a favor and BUY THIS BOARD!
"Top of the line" 2/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Slub Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  waterproof, good looking , tons of features
  • Cons:  none,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Just right/perfect

Experience:   This is the nicest piece of gear I own. It fits perfect. Lets in no moisture. Lets in no wind. The collar that covers your face is perfect. Tons of pockets. It has a built in waterproof liner that you can wear snapped or un-snapped on the inside. I highly recommend.
"Great beginner board" 2/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Clash
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  affordable,
  • Cons:  top sheet is fragile,

Experience:   Great board to get your basics down on. Has a postive camber so you have to really learn how to use your edges not like these new rocker boards where I see guys sliding around on the mountain. This board will even attack the black diamond runs. I took into park for minor stuff and it worked.
"OK Bindings" 2/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Custom
  • Pros:  flexable, affordable, easy to use
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   OK binding for beginner. I would recommend for someone who does not know what direction they want to take there snowboarding in. They do every thing you need them to do just ok. Nice looking but some chrome chipped off right away due to cold or a nasty spill.
"Good Boot" 1/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Invader
  • Pros:  affordable, warm , comfy
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   Very warm, comfortable, entry level boot. Has a lot of flex, also very easy lo lace up. I have used all day and felt no discomfort. I have used on groomers and in the park had good flex, but I'm a beginning rider so I'm not getting to crazy
