"Awesome goggle!" 9/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Vonzipper Chakra Goggles
  • Pros:  Small frame, great lens, awesome design
  • Cons:  scratches easily - keep your goggles in its bag!,

Experience:   This goggle has it all. Has a small enough frame that has small featured faces in mind. It has a good seal around the face and the foam has a microfibre liner which has yet to disintegrate with over 50 days on the snow. The lens works both on sunny and overcast days, which makes it a great all-rounder. The designs VZ have come up with are quirky and fun - a great range to suit everybody.
"Interesting pant" 8/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Orage Bella Ski Pants
  • Pros:  Length is great, Colour matches jacket,
  • Cons:  loose around the waist, no zippered pockets,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  The length is great, the fit around the hips is loose

Experience:   This pant has a great length and the fit around the leg is comfortable and allows movement. There are two major downfalls of this pant - lack of zippers and looseness. Whilst there are many pockets, none of them have any zippers to keep little bits and pieces in. The waist is a bit loose and the weird tightener on the back is more for aesthetic value rather than anything useful. I guess one could wear a belt, but this pant is better suited for those with a fuller figure.
"Steezy Jacket" 8/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Orage Benita Ski Jacket
  • Pros:  Longer arms, Warm, Great design
  • Cons:  No zipper pockets on the inside of the jacket,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Great fit - really good for those with long arms

Experience:   I bought this jacket for my Mom for her birthday. She's tall and has longer arms and often has difficulty finding a well fitting jacket. This orage jacket had the length in the arm to fit her really well. The only complaint I would have with this jacket is that it doesn't have any zippered pockets on the inside of the jacket. Having a zipper gives a bit of peace of mind, especially if you're carrying money in your jacket.
"Comfy sock" 8/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Euro Board Supreme Sock Men's
  • Pros:  Thick, Warm, Comfy
  • Cons:  A little snug when placed in a ski boot,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   I bought this sock for skiing. Although it's comfy on, it's a little tight in the boot. If you like a thicker sock, it's a great option! Whilst thinner socks work better in the ski boot, for apres & hiking in the winter months, it's awesome!
"AMAZING mittens" 8/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Gore Mittens
  • Pros:  Fit well, Cool Design, Gore-tex
  • Cons:  A little loose without the inner glove,

Experience:   This is an amazing mitten! I've been through my fair share of gloves & mittens and thought that I would give burton a go considering it was so cheap. I wish I had bought more! They keep your hands toasty warm, have a pocket which lets your hands breathe AND wrist attachments so you don't loose your mitts when you have to take them off. I have tiny hands and long fingers, so it makes finding an appropriate mitten/glove difficult. However, on the advice of one of the reviewers I went for a small instead of an extra-small = bingo! A great fit, a little loose without the liners, but I'm used to having a little bit of space in my glove anyway. If you need/want new mittens, give these ones a go! Absolutely fabulous. I might buy some more...
"Warm & cute top" 8/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Prm East Village L/S TShirt Women's
  • Pros:  Warm, Cute,
  • Cons:  Bigger than what I anticipated, Fabic doesn't breathe that well,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Loose & long

Experience:   I bought this as a top which I could chill out in for colder months. I like my clothing a little loose so I can layer up underneath it, but the top seems to be designed to fit quite loosely. Whilst the pic on the website shows a pretty awesome top, keep in mind that the design fits to below your butt. If you like a loose fit, make sure you select the size you normally buy, otherwise it's going to be huge.
"Light Shell" 8/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Roxy Jet Womens Shell
  • Pros:  Great design, Light,
  • Cons:  Fits big, Zipper is awkward, a key shape - why?!,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Loose and long

Experience:   I bought this jacket to use as a shell for those sunny days in Australia & spring skiing in Canada. However, the fit is quite large. I'm petite and short, and a size small normally allows me the space I need to layer up. I generally like a bit of room to move, but this jacket goes above and beyond. I'm about 160cm and the jacket reaches a third of the way down my thigh. If that's what you want in a jacket, at least you know your butt is going to be dry. The positives of this jacket is that it has a great design - bright and colourful. It's light, has a hood, and pockets you can keep your gear in. Unfortunately, I'm just to small to take advantage of these pluses. Luckily I have a taller sibling I can pass this jacket on to.
"Handy goggle" 8/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Smith Phenom Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Good fit, Fits well with helmet, Filter for the lenses

Experience:   This is a great goggle for anyone looking for an all-rounder. It fits well, has the porex filter which means = no more fogging between the two lenses! The spherical lense doesn't make you look like a huge blowfly & it's compatible with the helmet. All in all, a good buy.
"Cool backpack" 8/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Gravis Metro
  • Pros:  Design is great, Laptop compartment, Lots of space
  • Cons:  Bigger than what I anticipated,

Experience:   This is a great bag for hauling around gear. Originally I purchased this bag to take gear up the mountain with me as something that would fit a jacket & fleece. However, it's a lot bigger than I thought & actually makes a great gym bag. I can pack it full of a change of clothes & sneakers - AND I'll still have space. I'm sure it will be excellent to travel with as well. Totally well worth the price.
"Comfy sock" 8/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Euro Ski Supreme Silver
  • Pros:  Fit around the shin + calf were excellent, Cute design,
  • Cons:  A little big around the toe area,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Great fit around the calf + shin, roomie around the toes.

Experience:   For the price, this sock is quite good. It would probably work better for those with a broader foot. As my feet are quite tiny & narrow, the fit around the foot was a little big.
"Cute beanie" 8/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Coal Rosa Youth
  • Pros:  Cute colour, Great design,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S

Experience:   Bought this for my niece, looks cute & fits well.
"Burton = awesome." 8/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Midweight VNeck Thermal
  • Pros:  cute design, great fit, warm
  • Cons:  I only purchased one,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Fits well, although a bit lengthy in the arms + torso.

Experience:   This is a great little thermal. If you're hesitant in spending bucketloads on thermals + want something light + trustworthy, this top is great. It's cute enough to wear out in public without feeling awkward. Whilst I would team it with other layers in colder months/places, for skiing in Australia, it works really well under just a ski parka.
"Comfy + well fitting boot" 8/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Salomon Idol 9 CS Womens
  • Pros:  Adjustable buckles, Heel grab, Adjustable shell

Experience:   This boot is recommended for medium width feet however, when you have a small foot, any boot that goes down to a 22 is amazing. It fits well, the buckles can tighten/loosen depending on fit and is narrow enough to keep the achilles in place. The furry liner is a bonus. If you know what you're looking for in a boot + know a boot fitter, buying boots off sierra is a great option!
