  • Pros:  Comfortable, Warm,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M

"Nice boot for the $" 10/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Freestyle
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Warm, Affordable,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  9.0
  • Boot Size:  8.5

Experience:   I rode the Burton Freestyle boot all last season and was pretty happy with how they performed. My riding is split evenly between park and cruising around the mountain and they held up well for me. They are on the softer side of Burton's line so you may want to look into something else if you're not into park so much and need a more responsive boot. They kept my feet warm and dry all winter long, but did end up getting a little water logged in the slush at Mt. Hood this summer. Overall this is a great boot for anyone looking to save a little cash and wants a soft park friendly boot.

"Killer Board" 3/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Capita Sierrascope FK
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Park,Powder,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Fast, Nice and Poppy, Easy to Press, Sick Graphic,
  • Cons:  Topsheet chips easily,

Experience:   The Sierrascope has been my go to board all season and I love it! It's great for hitting up the park and buttering around, but can also hold its own all over the mountain. The carbon stringers really help with stability at speed and this thing can really hold an edge well. The topsheet does seem to chip a bit more easily than other boards I have owned, but that is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect the ride at all. I'm looking forward to the next Capita/Sierra collabo!
