"Excellent all around." 12/22/2009

  • Name: 2010 Ride EX
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Easily adjustable, Aluminum baseplate
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   The EX is an excellent all around binding. I found it to be a bit stiff for my tastes (I tend to prefer alot of flex)but very comfortable. I have these mounted on a Ride Agenda and spend most of my time jibbing around on them. The ease with which this binding adjust is a huge selling point. As for loose screws, I haven't had an issue. I tend to tighten my gear before riding so I would imagine that eliminates that problem. I'd never hesitate to recommend these bindings to a beginner/intermediate rider. Great performance and price point.

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Team Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Halfpipe,High Speeds,Jumps,Off Trail,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Light, Flexible, Fast

Experience:   Amazing board at a great price. I was suprised how fast the board was. Super flexible and highly responsive. Good feedback through the bindings. I have ridden this board on hard pack only and I can't wait to get it on groomed and powder. An all around great performer!

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Reverse Crew Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Flexible,

Experience:   I got the chance to ride this board this past weekend at Sugar Bowl. Spring riding conditions of icy groomers in the morning fading to slush in the afternoon. This board has a great feel about it. It is more flexible than any other board I have, but that's not a suprise since all my others are stiff pipe twins. On the icy snow it was completely rideable but I couldn't help but think my camber boards would provide a better hold. On the slushy snow this thing felt great. The pop off the kickers was suprising as I was expecting less given the softer flex. At higher speeds the tip and tail vibrate a little but not enough to cause a problem. I will recommend this board to all intermediate/advanced riders looking for a playful but serious board. You can bomb around on it and just have fun, or hit it seriously hard and tweak every last air.

  • Name: 2010 Flow Team
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,Halfpipe,High Speeds,Jumps,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Excellent construction,
  • Cons:  A bit stiff,

Experience:   This board is absolutely a joy to ride, very fast and stable at high speeds. The carbon stringers in the tip and tail make it a bit stiff for cruising or presses, but the stiffness pays off on kickers with great pop and easy landings. It is incredibly light and construction seems to be a step above. The edges at the transitions of the nose and tail are detuned to avoid hooking on the pipe walls while still providing excellent edge control on groomers, and it slashed through pow and chop with ease. As responsive as this board is speed is key.
