I saw a video on YouTube about the Flow Team bindings that shattered on a rider. The baseplate material was constructed of magnesium. Which actually has a chemical reaction when submerged in water (see Wikipedia);
"When it is submerged in water, hydrogen bubbles will almost unnoticeably begin to form on the surface of the metal, though if powdered it will react much more rapidly. The reaction will occur faster with higher temperatures (see precautions)."
Knowing this, I feel more confident in my purchase of the Flow Flite 3 bindings and wish I could change the review score to a 5 out of 5.
