"Pretty good for the price" 2/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Space Sack Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Relatively Cheap, Awesome graphics, Removable Strap
  • Cons:  No padding, Can be a tight fit,

Experience:   I bought a 166 space sack in Neon Camo. First of all, this color is awesome! The board bag seems really well made, I like the removable shoulder strap. I have a 156 SierraScope with Flow bindings and length wise it fits pretty well. One warning to Flow users. For those that like to keep their bindings set up at all times, you will most likely have to undo them to fold the high-back down. Maybe if you have a very small board you can leave them up but for me it didn't work, otherwise no complaints. If you're looking for something to truly protect your board on a plane or whatever, pay more money and buy something else that's [added. If you want something to keep it from getting chipped in the car and make it easy to carry, this is your bag!
"Great bindings" 4/12/2010

  • Name: 2010 Flow M9
  • Pros:  Convenience, Comfortable, Responsive
  • Cons:  Waiting for friends,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I got to try my M9s out once before my local hill closed. They took me until lunch to get dialed in and get used to them. After that, they were amazing. Not too stiff, but not extremely soft either. There were no pinch points and my feet didn't get sore all day. Don't listen to the Flow haters, their higher end bindings are definately worth the price!
"Amazing boots!" 3/15/2011

  • Name: 2010 DC Judge Boa
  • Pros:  Boa system, Comfortable, Not stiff, not sloppy
  • Cons:  May come loose,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   I recently bought this boot and was able to bring it out a few times before the snow melted. First of all, I wear size 10.5 and these boots in size 10 fit me snugly. A little tight at first but by the second day packed out enough where it was super comfortable yet still supportive. I'd go with whatever size you wear in DC skate shoes, maybe a half size down if you prefer a tight fit. They're also less wide then some other DC boots which works well for riders with Flow bindings Mid-stiff flex worked for me anywhere from the park to black diamonds. The liner of the boots are very comfortable and are made to mold to your foot. And now the best part, the BOA system. Coming from DC Scouts with regular laces I can honestly say I will never go back to regular laces. The dual zone boa makes it super easy to get dialed in and no need to mess with wet laces with your freezing hands. Just turn and go. Only con I found in my few days with them is they may come loose after a few runs but just reach down and turn the knob and you're good. Overall I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a solid, supportive all around boot that can handle anything on the hill.
"Good goggles!" 2/9/2011

  • Name: 2011 Spy Zed Snowboard Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Look great, Fit well with helmet
  • Cons:  Not a huge fan of the lenses, Strap could be a bot longer/more stretchy,

Experience:   I recently got the chance to use the Spy goggles on a 2 day trip. I wear Oakley crowbars and forgot my night lenses so my friend let me borrow these both nights. I can say that they are very comfortable. They are large and offer a good viewing area and do not block off peripheral vision like a lot of smaller goggles. They fit very well with my R.E.D. Trace helmet, although the strap was a bit tight/less stretchy compared to my crowbars. The blue lens was decent at night although obviously not what I'd prefer compared to a clear or yellow lens. I wouldn't trade my Crowbars for them but I'd definitely consider these if you're a Spy fan and looking for great goggles. The white ones look awesome too!
"Awesome gloves" 2/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton GoreTex Gloves
  • Pros:  Very Warm, Stays dry, Love the liner gloves
  • Cons:  Somewhat expensive,

Experience:   You get what you pay for with these gloves. While somewhat expensive, they are the best gloves I've owned. The goretex material keeps you dry and warm. I wear a medium in all my gloves and these in a medium fit well. Gets a little tight with the liner gloves but they work for me. I also use the liner gloves on warm days or when I go jogging in cold weather. I like how it comes up high so I don't get a lot of snow down them. Overall great glove, pay the price and be set with these!
"Great Oakley goggles" 1/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Oakley A Frame
  • Pros:  Great optics, Looks great, No fogging
  • Cons:  Doesn't fit some helmets,

Experience:   I owned 2 pairs of Oakley A-Frames and was very satisfied with both. The first pair with persimmon lenses performed well in all light conditions. The second with Fire Iridium was awesome for sunny days, and actually didn't work too badly for cloudy days unless it was snowing heavily. Neither goggles ever had troubles with fogging, and were very comfortable to wear. The only issue I ever had with them is the fitment with helmets. Since they have curved tops, I found they didn't look as good as goggles such as Crowbars that had flatter tops. They functioned just fine with helmets if you're not as concerned with looks. Overall they were great goggles and I'd recommend them to anyone. They're very high quality and you can find them discounted often on the internet.
"Awesome goggles!" 1/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Oakley Crowbar Goggles
  • Pros:  No fogging, Fits well with helmet, Comfortable
  • Cons:  A little pricy,

Experience:   I recently bought 2 pairs of Crowbars to replace the A-Frames I sold to my friends. These goggles are awesome. The large lens makes for excellent peripheral vision. I have the Fire Iridium lens for daytime sunny riding and the Hi-intensity yellow lens for night and other riding. Both lenses work excellent for their respective purposes and have never once fogged on me. The goggles themselves fit absolutely perfect with my RED Trace helmet, no gap and no awkward fitting at all. I would recommend these glasses to anyone who wants a good looking, high quality goggle that fits well with helmets.
"Great Protection" 12/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Micro Lock
  • Pros:  Small, Easy to store in jacket, Strong for such a small wire

Experience:   I bought this lock after purchasing my Sierrascope and Flow bindings. It definitely gives me peace of mind when the board check is closed. Although the wire is somewhat thin, I use the lock as more of a deterrent than anything. The combo dials work smoothly and I've never had any trouble with the lock as a whole. Good quality! I'd recommend this as cheap insurance and priceless for your peace of mind while you leave your board out
"Great helmet for the money" 12/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Red Trace Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Good fit, Great price
  • Cons:  No serious cons,

Experience:   I bought this helmet last spring to wear for this year's riding season. After wearing it out, I am very happy with the purchase. My head size was right on the border of medium and large listed on the size chart. Luckily my friend's brother had this helmet in medium so I tried it on and found large was a better fit for me. The helmet is very comfortable and warm and considering the price compared to many others out there, you can't go wrong. Definitely a good investment to make to protect your brain!
"Awesome pants, perfect fit" 12/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Fly Snowboard Pants
  • Pros:  Looks good, Great Fit, Good quality
  • Cons:  No serious cons that I could see,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Pretty much perfect

Experience:   Bought these for my girlfriend, she is about 5'9 and 120lbs. and the medium fit her perfectly. The black dobby is a nice design with subtle black pinstripes to give it some extra flair. Good waterproofing and weatherproofing, along with a high quality build makes these pants a winner. Definitely would recommend these pants.
"Very good jacket" 12/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Oakley Eaves Snowboard Jacket - Women's
  • Pros:  Looks awesome, great color and design, Great waterproofing, Solid quality
  • Cons:  A little bit expensive, Fits a bit baggy, but ok once you layer up,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  A bit baggy

Experience:   Was very impressed with the quality of the jacket right out of the box. Solid build and seems like an overall nice jacket. It's a nice cherry red, so you won't look like the ski patrol with a fire engine red jacket lol. It fit a bit baggy, my girlfriend is about 5'9 120lbs. and it fits a little big, although not extremely baggy. Not as bad once she layers up underneath. Hasn't tested it on the hill yet, but wearing it out daily in the snowstorms we've been having lately, it is very warm and completely waterproof so there is no problems there. Overall I would recommend this jacket
"Sick Shirt!" 4/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Ready to Butter
  • Pros:  Fits right, looks good, High quality
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Perfect, not tight and not baggy

Experience:   I ordered this shirt during the 70% off sale. I was a little worried that it would be more of a baggy tall T but when I got it, it fit perfectly. I'm 6' !70lb. and a medium fit me very well. The shirt was very high quality and the graphics look like they will stay on for a long time. I've worn this shirt a couple times and always get laughs from people who recognize Sierra Snowboards. I'd definately recommend this quality shirt!
"Nice!" 4/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Special Blend Lg Filled Icon 12 Pk
  • Pros:  Big, Cheap, Lots of colours

Experience:   Picked these up and for a dollar, they're awesome and pretty big. Gonna choose whatcolour i like the most and toss one on my board next season!
"Decent" 4/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dragon DX Goggles
  • Pros:  Cheap, Looks decent,
  • Cons:  Bad peripherals, Small,

Experience:   My buddy let me use his extra pair of these goggles when I left my Oakleys at home. I found them kind of small and they didn't have great peripheral vision. If you can get them for really cheap they're worth it for a cheap pair, or a backup set. If you can afford different ones, I'd say go elsewhere
"Awesome Coat for the price" 4/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Foursquare Adams
  • Pros:  Looks amazing, Amazing ventilation, tons of pockets
  • Cons:  a little big,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  A bit big, but not bad at all (and I hate really baggy stuff)

Experience:   Got this jaket in AthleticHeather Stripe, I've recieved tons of compliments, and it has great weatherproofing. Fits a bit baggy but not too baggy, looks cool IMO. I'd recommend it.
