"Great Boot" 12/31/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Thirty Two JP Walker Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  lightweight, true-fit, snug
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   Just got the boot, and went up to the mountain to break them in. Boots require a few runs to get them packed. Fits great, feels like a skate shoe, really low profile. Flex is mid. The boots are really simple, which is its selling point: traditional laces, good liner, insoles are average support (its furry?) might recommend some riders to use superfeet or drscholls. sizing is similar to 32 prions, toe box is definitely not narrow nor wide. tried 10.5 and there was too much toe and heel space, careful with half-sizes. will be back to write more in depth by the end of the season. So far love them
"Beastly" 12/31/2011

  • Name: 2012 Bern Watts EPS Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Tought, Light, Simple

Experience:   Got the Baker Watts Hard Helmet in matte red. I did not get EPS foam, since it requires replacement after a few hits. Brock foam is the standard bern foam, which is still protective. Amazing helmet, very safe and secure. Looks great with gear, not too bulky. Simple warm liner that is easily replaceable if you ever get too hot or skate. Very durable, after a few runs already saved my life :p Stupid to ride without a helmet.

  • Name: 2009 Foursquare Trappe
  • Pros:  Includes detachable shorts, simple,
  • Cons:  no vents, no bells and whistles,
  • Pant Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL

Experience:   Basic boarding pants. 5'10 and pants sag to heels. Keeps me warm and dry, the included Warmup Shorts are a huge plus. The materials are basic shell, few pockets (5 total). Affordable pants, but gets the job done.
"Get what you paid for" 12/21/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Crossfire
  • Pros:  low profile, articulation,
  • Cons:  shotty grip material, not waterproof,

Experience:   Gloves are simple spring/pipe gloves. Very low profile, gives good freedom of articulation. No insulation, no warmth provided and easily becomes wet. Worst part the Grip material peels off the glove. get what you pay for
"2009-10 Jacket" 3/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Foursquare Fabian Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  Simple, Surprisingly Warm,
  • Cons:  No zip off hoodie, 1 layer jacket,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Fits well

Experience:   Got the 09 for 40-50 bucks. Really good deal. Though the Fabian has not many bells or whistles, it's a great jacket. SIMPLE is the key. There aren't layers of shell and fleece just all in 1 package. Pockets are zippers, not lame ass velcro. Sleeves fit fine, jacket is warm during the winter (just layer a thermal underneath) and hot during the spring. simply GOOD JACKET
"Meh" 3/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Anon Hawkeye Painted
  • Pros:  Looks awesome, does the job,
  • Cons:  Smaller then anticipated, feels flimsy, anon's mirror paint - beware of scratching

Experience:   I've been using some old Oakleys up until the Hawkeye upgrade. I needed goggles that don't fog and with a wider range of view. So Hawkeyes seemed the best choice. Out of the box: they were meh, looked sweet, the red solex is sexy, but really they were smaller then I thought they were going to be. Fits ok, but can't say they are the best. Comparing field view with my old 8+ year oakleys, they are practically the same. But the lens are clear, and don't fog
