"Awesome pants" 11/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Quiksilver Scorps Snowboard Pants
  • Pros:  Waterproof, Wearproof, Good value
  • Cons:  Too big, A little heavy,
  • Pant Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Baggy

Experience:   These pants are awesome. After about a year of constant wear they still look new, basically zero wear except for a little around the foot area. The only downside is that they are a little to big. I am usually a medium but these are more of a large size and maybe even bigger than the typical large. I also have to wear a belt with it which is not a big deal but a little bit annoying sometimes. The larger size also adds to the weight. Overall these are great pants I highly recommend them, they get the job done. Good price as well.

So if im usually a Med, should i order a small or is the size difference not that big of a deal?

"Solid" 12/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Moto Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Comfortable fit, Quick lace system, price
  • Cons:  Annoying laces, looks,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  10.5

Experience:   Overall, these boots aren't bad at all as far as comfort and ride which is the most important thing. They have a nice enough flex but you have to work it in as in most boots. My one gripe which annoys the hell out of me is the lace system. Getting the boots on is very quick, but after you tighten, you have to shove the remaining lace into the sides of the boot. This part is kind of tedious and annoying. Also, the boot fits true to size and is neither wide or narrow in regards to FIT, but from the outside they look rather wide. I am being nit-picky but as a perfectionist I strive for the best fit/aesthetics in all of my gear.
"Flawless bindings" 12/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Rome S90 Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Great flex for the park, cheap, sturdy
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I bought these from sierra as a combo deal and I couldn't be happier with them after a week of intense riding. My FIRST impression was that the straps looked kind of weak but so far they have lived up to their expectation and more. The flex is soft and forgiving, providing great motility and stability for the park. A+ on these bindings for sure.
"Fantastic gloves" 11/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Approach Under Gloves True Black
  • Pros:  Comfortable and warm, price, water proof

Experience:   I bought these gloves for my wife from trusnow and she loves them! We went snowboarding last night and so far they are much more comfortable/warm than her last pair of gloves. I wasn't sure what the size of her last gloves were but I guessed medium and I was right. I would highly recommend these, they are a great pair of gloves to snowboard with.
"It's a shirt and it's Burton" 11/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Corp Plaid TShirt - Men's
  • Pros:  price, brand,
  • Cons:  arms a little small,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Fitted

Experience:   A solid shirt that can be worn with just about any pants. The only complaint I have is the arms a little too small. They will probably fit well if you have skinny arms but if you have larger arms it will feel a little bit tight around the arm pit area. This of course leads to more sweat stains if you sweat.
"Must have gloves" 11/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton GoreTex Gloves
  • Pros:  Warm, Waterproof, Durable
  • Cons:  Price, Can get hot,

Experience:   These are some quality gloves that will work well for snowboarding, hiking, snow shoveling, etc. in any type of weather. I remember having to shovel slush and my hands were still very dry afterwords. Price is a bit high but all things considered, these gloves are a good investment and will protect your hands pretty well.
"Quality socks" 11/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Nike 6.0 Basic Socks Men's
  • Pros:  comfortable, price, durable
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  perfect

Experience:   I got 3 packs of these socks at the nike outlet store and so far have been very happy with them. I wear them every day with my normal sneakers and I have no problems with them whatsoever!
"Stylish" 11/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Volcom Frickin Plaid Chino Short
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Stylish, Price
  • Cons:  button loose, a little short,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S

Experience:   These are great shorts, they go well with pretty much any tshirt. Comfort level is pretty good also. After about a few months of wearing these, the button in the front started coming loose. It still hasn't fallen off but too much stress on it will make the button become loose. If you are going to buy these online, be warned that compared to most other shorts in this category, they are a tad shorter in length. The waist may fit like a medium but the length will be more like a small.
"Nice n warm" 11/12/2010

  • Name: 2010 Burton Wool Supreme
  • Pros:  warm, comfortable,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  snug

Experience:   These are a great pair of socks! They are warm, comfortable, and cozy. I can ride all day and my feet never get cold. The first time I wore them, they felt a bit slippery but after washing them this sensation wore off. It's been washed multiple times and it still maintains its character to this day
"A keeper for sure" 11/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Smith Gambler Youth
  • Pros:  Not very foggy, Nice color/design, comfortable
  • Cons:  fogs up on occasion,

Experience:   I bought this as a replacement for my son at the ski shop because his old goggle was giving him problems. I paid $45 dollars for these (because I got them at the ski shop). I guess they were a good investment because so far they haven't broken. My son occasionally complains that it fogs up but if you make sure that it is snugly fit on your face, this shouldn't really be a problem. Buy it, and buy it here on truesnow and not at the overpriced ski shop.
"Okay beginner's goggles" 11/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Smith Challenger Otg Youth
  • Pros:  Cheap,
  • Cons:  Not durable, Foggy, Weird tint

Experience:   I got these for my son who just started snowboarding. He liked them until he got down the bunny hill a few times and then started to complain about fogginess. With goggles you get what you pay for, and these are no exception. In any case, I ended up getting him the 2010 Smith Gambler, which has been working out well so far. I would discourage anyone from really buying these for your kids.
"Decent backpack" 11/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Shaun White
  • Pros:  Lots of pockets, Great design,
  • Cons:  Not very comfortable,

Experience:   I gave this backpack 3 stars because to me, comfort is everything. If you don't carry anything heavy, this backpack is ok. However, if you carry anything heavier than 20 pounds (textbooks for example), you will probably get back problems. I had to discontinue using this backpack because it gave me lower back problems. I do really like the design of this pack: lots of pockets for your accessories such as phone, ipod, cords, and if you skateboard you can hook up your board to the back. Once again, my only gripe with this backpack is the back problems it gave me. If you plan on using it for light, recreational use, it is probably a decent backpack to have.
"Every day type of hat" 11/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Lory Trucker
  • Pros:  Price, ventilation, design
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Loose

Experience:   If you have long(er) and bushier hair like me this hat is a great one to just slap on and start your day with. I feel like a bum saying this but sometimes I wake up in the morning, put this hat on, and I'm out the door looking pretty fresh. Don't have to do my hair or anything. I would definitely recommend this hat as an every day casual hat. Also, you don't sweat much while wearing this hat because it has very nice ventilation. For a hat this price, it is a shame NOT to buy it.
"STUNNING" 11/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Thats It Thats All Travis Rice Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  Great footage, Great editing, Music

Experience:   The joy of snowboarding is summed up right here in this DVD. I seriously cannot WAIT to snowboard after watching this film. I would buy this again if it were $100.00 because I leave it on at my store and people will literally just stand there for 30 minutes watching the wicked footage. Scenery from different countries is great, footage and editing is superb, and you cannot help but get goosebumps after watching. Don't watch this in the summer because you will want to quit work and fly to new zealand or something to snowboard. Music is okay, I might not have chosen some of the tracks but this is just personal taste and me being nitpicky!
"Worth it" 11/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Volcom Enowen Jean
  • Pros:  Good fit, Durable material,
  • Cons:  back pocket design,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  regular, not too loose and not to tight

Experience:   These jeans are excellent quality, certainly what you would expect from Volcom. I just got them a few weeks ago and they are worth the money. Quality material for sure, you can just feel it. As far as size goes these fit me perfectly - not too baggy or skinny. My only gripe is the back pockets look a little weird to me, but this is personal taste and I'm being too nit-picky I guess. I didn't really like the pockets but I still bought them and don't regret it. These jeans are worth the money, and they will go well with any shirt.
"Dynamite" 11/9/2010

  • Name: 2010 Burton Twisted Premium TShirt Men's
  • Pros:  Great fit, nice design, decent price
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  tight

Experience:   This is one of my favorite shirts! It fits very well, almost reminds me of muscle shirts from Abercrombie. I have the black one, but I'm sure the other colors are just as nice. Follow the washing instructions and you should not get any fade or wear.
"Excellent boarding headphones" 11/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Skullcandy Skullcrushers
  • Pros:  GREAT bass, Comfortable, price
  • Cons:  design, outside noise level,

Experience:   One of my best buds I ride with has these and I've tried them out on more than one occasion. First impression: Awesome bass. If you like techno/hip-hop, these are great. They are also pretty comfortable if you wear them over your beanie. Furthermore, you can lift one side over your ear and leave the other side over that ear so you can hear what's going on outside. I'm not a huge fan of the coloring/design of these headphones but that is just my personal conservative taste. Another thing to note is that if you pump up the volume, people in close proximity will be able to hear the music. In conclusion I don't own these but I have used them multiple times and I would definitely buy them if my current ones broke.
"Okay" 11/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Skullcandy Smokin Buds
  • Pros:  Cheap, Good sound,
  • Cons:  They break, not snow proof,

Experience:   These headphones are pretty cheap and the sound is decent. I don't recommend using these for snowboarding however since their sound get's completely messed up if you get some snow in the earpiece. My other headphones were fine once I dried them but these ones had permanent sound distortion after a tiny bit of snow got into the earpiece. Also they tend to split down the middle sometimes.
"Quality hat" 11/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Slidestyle Flexfit Cap
  • Pros:  Durable, Snug fit,
  • Cons:  Price,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Snug

Experience:   I'm in to black hats because they don't get dirty easily and this one is no exception. It is similar to this volcom hat: http://www.trusnow.com/Volcom-Half-Stone-6277-Flexfit-Hat-Hats.asp but it is slightly more expensive. I have both hats and they are very similar. Overall, great hat, highly recommended.
"Shower shoes" 11/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Volcom Mod 1 Creedlers
  • Pros:  CHEAP,
  • Cons:  durability,

Experience:   These flip flops are perfect for public showers (like when I worked at a summer camp). They are NOT ment for long walks and hiking, and if you do stress them they will break. However, for casual use they get the job done and the price is as good as it gets.
"Superb hat" 11/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Volcom Half Stone 6277 Flexfit Hat
  • Pros:  flex-fit: very comfy, does not get dirty very fast,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  flexible

Experience:   1. This hat is a steal for the price. If you know your size, buy it online instead of at the mall where it will run you $25 - $30.00. 2. This hat is very comfortable for the average head shape. Flex fit is where it's at. 3. Another big plus for this hat is that it doesn't get dirty very fast. Well, it probably does, but it just doesn't show!
"Great shirt" 11/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Volcom Trucker S/S Basic Tee
  • Pros:  comfortable, nice fit,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  not to tight, not too loose

Experience:   This shirt is great for every day wear. It will go well with pretty much any type of pants (jeans especially). It has a relatively simple and clean cut look to it. Highly recommend it.
"Good, get's the job done" 11/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Neff Daily Beanie - Men's
  • Pros:  Good fit, Warm,
  • Cons:  Scratchy, Stretches out,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  very nice fit

Experience:   Overall this beanie is pretty decent. I got it in white at some board store in steamboat, CO. It is simple and get's the job done (keep ears and head warm) but it does get stretched out after a bit and doesn't retain its form after extensive use. Also, I don't know if it's because of my hair type but it tends to get scratchy and I find myself constantly itching my scalp. Overall though it is cheap and get's the job done.
