"Great filler item!" 1/14/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2007 Forum First Chair 24Pk
  • Pros:  Cheap,
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   24 stickers for 99 cents is a steal. I used it as a filler item to put me over the top for free shipping!
"Warm but Bulky" 1/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gore Tex Under
  • Pros:  Warm, Comes with a liner, Price
  • Cons:  Bulky, Not sure about the quality,

Experience:   I've gone through many pairs of gloves, trying to find the perfect pair and these maybe it. They kept my fingers warm even on the coldest days and on warmer days, I'll either wear just the liners or wear them without the liners, so you've got some options. They're a little snug when you try to put them on with the liners on. On more than one occasion, I've had to take them off, adjust and put them back on to get a proper fit. Despite the snugness, they're very comfortable. They have a pocket for a hand warmer which comes in handy if you want even more warmth. They're very bulky however, making it hard to certain things like unstrapping from my board, zipping/unzipping, etc. So I make sure I do all this stuff when my gloves are off so it's not a huge deal. Lastly, I'm not sure about the quality, as there's a hole in my liner now at the seams. That may have been my own fault though...
"So far so good" 2/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Mission
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Toe cap strap, Easy to get out of
  • Cons:  Ratchets, Fit on the ankle strap,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I consider myself an intermediate rider. This was my second full season of riding and I'm not at the point where I hit the terrain park yet. When I first started, I was using cheap gear and I've upgraded slowly since. I have been looking for new bindings to replace the first set of bindings I've ever had, the Flow Flite 3. They served their purpose but I didn't feel like I had the most control. Luckily I found the Burton Missions on sale and decided to give them a try. They were lighter than the Flows and easier to get out of. I do miss being able to jump in the Flows and lock up and go, but it wasn't a deal breaker. It was a night and day difference! I have a lot more control. The gas pedal is great so I can hit toeside faster. However it does get some snow stuck in there sometimes. The toe cap strap is great and I feel very secure. I'm in Ride FUL boots and the fit is fine. What's no so great are the ratchets that tend to get stuck when it's frozen. And I'm having a hard time finding the BEST fit on the ankle strap. I'm sure after a little more tweaking, it'll be fine.
"Best Goggles Cali White/Red Solex" 1/20/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Anon Figment Painted
  • Pros:  Never fogs, Looks great, Great price

Experience:   Coming from a pair of Scotts, I love my Anon Figment Painted goggles! They've never fogged on me. They weren't bank breaking expensive like Oakleys or Von Zippers. And the California White/Red Solex stand out!
"Bananas are easy to ride!" 1/14/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 GNU Carbon Credit Series BTX
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  MTX, BTX,
  • Cons:  Durability is questionable,

Experience:   I love my Gnu board! It holds edges well and I love the reverse camber. I think it'd be great for beginners too because of the MTX technology. I do have a few chips here and there so I'm questioning the durability but it's minor. Get a banana and ride it, suckah!
"Easy In, Easy Out" 1/14/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Flow Flite 3
  • Pros:  Easy In, Easy out, Comfortable,
  • Cons:  Heavy, Pain to setup, Waiting for everyone else to strap in
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These were my very first and only set of bindings ever. I got them because a friend of mind recommended them and it was also a great deal. I love being able to pop in and out of them quickly. However, I spend a lot of time waiting for everyone else to get in, FWIW. I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like they're pretty heavy. They are definitely bulky as they don't really fold down flat for transport purposes. Setup was a bit of a pain to find the perfect fit. But once you get it right, they were pretty comfortable. Being that they're my first and only set of bindings, I can't really compare the responsiveness to other types. However, they don't seem to be very responsive as it feels like it requires more effort to turn and carve. I'll update my review once I get a chance to try out other bindings.
"Does the Job" 1/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Lux Midweight Thermal Pant Womens
  • Pros:  Warm, Light,
  • Cons:  Seams dig into you,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S

Experience:   I got this last year for my girlfriend and she thinks they're great except for the seams at the ankle. They dug into her and left a decent imprint in her lower leg and ankle. Other than that, the fit was pretty true to size and it kept her warm enough. We got it on sale so it was a great buy.
