"Decent Bag" 12/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Space Sack Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Light, Nice design,
  • Cons:  Thin, No coussin,

Experience:   I have a 152 board with large bindings and size 11 boots. It fits those 3 pretty snug(bindings screwed on already, might beable to move things around and save my space with bindings not attached), not much room for extra space. I can fit pants, ski jacket, helmet, and goggles and I am maxed out no space left what so ever. So I guess its a perfect fit, but its a struggle to get everything in. If I had to go back, I'de probably get a 165. Overall its a pretty cheap bag for your stuff, but thin in size.
"Very Good Starter Tuning Kit" 1/27/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Dakine Deluxe Snowboard Tune Kit
  • Pros:  Has a lot of the essentials for tuning, Compact,
  • Cons:  Expensive if you choose not use use some items,

Experience:   I bought this kit to get a lot of the essentials for tuning. After reading a lot of different techniques for tuning there was some details missing that might help you with your purchase. The blue Dakine scraper is nice and large and optimal for 2 hand scrapping, but it does not have the notch in one of the corners for getting wax off your edges. The Dakine tuner has only 2 degrees, 88 and 90. What is good about the tuner is the file that comes with it. On one side of the file has a crisscross surface and the other side has a 1 direction diagonal surface. The 2 difference surfaces is good depending on what kind of edge tuning you are doing. And additional plus is on the side of the file it does have arrows on which way the file needs to go when you are sharpening your edges. Not to get confused with the Dakine edge tuning tool, the other file which is the long file has a 1 direction diagonal on both sides of the file. As for all the other elements those are pretty standard. The block of wax can probably only do a few wax jobs depending on how much wax you use. Overall its a very good starter tuning kit.
"Good for its size" 1/17/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton FBI6 Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Compact, Many tools,
  • Cons:  Difficult to use,

Experience:   The tool is nice that it comes with 2 different size Phillips heads, one flat head, a hexagon shaped head, a wrench type device that can be used as a bottle opener. For its size its great but its when trying to tighten bindings in the cold the trouble comes. The rectangular shape does not fit in your hand very well and becomes very uncomfortable. Also the heads don't stay straight all the time while using them and aren't very stable.
"Nothing Special" 1/12/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Oakley Ambush Snowboard Goggles
  • Pros:  Cheap, Does the job, Looks nice
  • Cons:  Reduced peripheral, Small frame,

Experience:   For Oakleys these are cheap, but there is a reason because there isn't anything special about them. The description says for Small-Medium sized faces. I consider myself a solid Medium and maybe can fit into a large. These fit alright, but there was still a little gap between the nose cushion and my nose, so it could work for mediums but would fit smalls the best. Lastly my only real problem with these goggles is with the amount of peripheral vision you have. It is definitely noticeably reduced compared to other frames I've tried one (for example crowbars).
"The last reminisce of Sierra" 3/2/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Sierra Ready To Butter TShirt
  • Pros:  Nice material, Cool Design,
  • Cons:  Too small, Shrinks in wash,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  A bit tight

Experience:   I got lots of shirts with this type of logo print on it and over time with alot of wear and tear, the logo will eventually crack. I've been wearing this one alot when i go to the mountains and im starting to see it happen myself. The shirt will shrink a little in the wash, and the way the shirt fits me. It is big/long cause its a large but it fits like a medium around my waste(snug only around my waste). Overall its an alright tshirt and i get alot of compliments when im on the mountain.
"Eh...Alright lock" 2/17/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Micro Lock
  • Pros:  Easy to use,
  • Cons:  A bit weak,

Experience:   This is an alright lock, the cord is a bit thin and seems to be somewhat weak. Its good to ward away the person who just wants to snatch and grab, but all in all it does lock up your board. Might want to think of a more heavy duty lock if you are really scared.
"First Helmet!" 12/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Red Trace Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Durable, Not too expensive, Warm
  • Cons:  Nothing really wrong with it,

Experience:   My first helmet and its pretty nice. It was real warm and fits pretty snug. My only complaint would be a little too tight for a medium and a large is too big. Overall nice helmet!
"Burton Channel Discs" 12/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Retro Disc
  • Pros:  Converts for channel boards!!,
  • Cons:  Expensive,

Experience:   If you got a channel board and your current discs don't fit, this is what your looking for. I use a Burton CustomX and Burton Bindings P1.1 and they works perfectly, no looseness from my experience.

"Sweet pants" 11/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Ranger Snowboard Pants
  • Pros:  Awesome texture, warm, feels great
  • Cons:  Expensive, Too baggy,
  • Pant Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  The pants look great and feel great, but are quite baggy.

Experience:   The Pants fit pretty well but the length was alot longer than I expected. The material is really nice and feels great, and it keeps you warm. I think its pretty good for its price if you are looking for burton pants.
