"The best !" 1/17/2011

  • Name: 2011 Burton Custom Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Powder,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Very stable board, Flex where it needs it, Awesome in any condition
  • Cons:  little heavy,

Experience:   This is one of the best boards I have ever ridden, Its great in any condition even on some iced trails. Coming into 2011, I got this board vs alot of other boards due to alot of recommendations. I rode this at high speeds, through powder, and through ice conditions and it has been very very good to me. The only complaint that I have is that the board is a little heavy to whip around on jumps but other than that, I am in love.

  • Name: 2011 Burton Zip Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  compact and fits easy anywhere,
  • Cons:  can't get a good handle, can't get any torque out of it,

Experience:   its good if your in the back country and are short of using your keys or a deers antler as a tool. The only good thing about it is that its compact. Otherwise using this tool is quite a chore since its so small. You can't get a good handle on it and worst of all due to its shape its hard to get it into certain part of your bindings. If you need a quick fix to get to a real tool, then this will do I suppose.

  • Name: 2010 Burton Space Sack Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Roomy to fit 2 boards, one with bindings affixed, Fit all gear within,

Experience:   I finally got to use this bag this past weekend and I was amazed by the space this bag provided. I got a little crazy and got a 156 bag for my 156 board. It fit great with the board and binding and allowed me to throw in a spare board right behind it without any issues. I was also able to throw in my boots in the middle, two pairs of pants at the bottom, and a jacket with my base layers and goggles up top. It fit all my gear perfectly and wasnt about to implode either. Worth every penny.
"Free Weighted !" 5/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Ruler
  • Pros:  Very light for boots, Quick lacing zones are awesome, Comfortable
  • Cons:  Feels like the quick lacing cords are stretching,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  8.5

Experience:   I love these boots, These replaced my old Nike boots that served me well for years. This year I decided to go with these and have not regretted it once. They were very light weight to the feel and the break in period was not painful and rather swift and easy. The support is mid, although if it was a tad stiffer they would be the dream boot come true. If you want a boot thats light, not hell to break in, and easy to access in and out then this is for you. The only complaint is the quick lacing feels like it is stretching out a little bit, but thats not too big of a deal.
"Bang for the buck" 5/1/2010

  • Name: 2010 Burton Ranger Snowboard Pants
  • Pros:  Light fabric, Comfortable,
  • Cons:  Spring wear, not for bitter cold days,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Not too big, not too small

Experience:   I got these in true black, but they are more like a grey. The material looks like its almost denim and the fitment is lovely. I love these pants to wear on spring riding days or days its not too cold out because they are so thin. They are nearly free weighted and are very comfortable. For you spring riders, these are the bang for the buck.
"Great Pants !" 5/1/2010

  • Name: 2010 Burton Restricted Chigurh Snow Pants
  • Pros:  Great insulation on cold days with thermals, Awesome storage for your items,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Fit to size, but with room to breathe

Experience:   I love these pants ! They were great on those cold days even especially with thermals on. The fit isn't too baggy and was roomy for me to move around freely while able to shove knee pads comfortably under them. You will not be disappointed. I am actually thinking about getting two more pairs for next year I love them so much !
"The V Rock !" 5/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Custom V-Rocker
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Easy to ride, Simple plain graphics, Lots of pop
  • Cons:  Top sheet chips too easily, Bindings leave a mark when you readjust on the EST,

Experience:   I got this board as a gift from a few buddies this year and loved it for the first day out. I loved how easy it was to float on pow without having to set back your bindings, but when you do be prepared to be sick. After a few hours of riding and re-adjusting the settings, I noticed that the bindings left white scuff marks all over the beautiful black matte top sheet. I also noticed that the top sheet chipped off in some places where it was nearly impossible to conceive. If you want a fun board that allows hops to be made efforlessly, buy it...If you don't care about how easily banged up it can get on your first day out.
"2010 Custom X 156" 4/30/2010

  • Name: 2010 Burton Custom X
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Simple graphics up top, Beautiful down under, Great ride on fresh pow, Just the right flex for long runs

Experience:   I usually take this board out on fresh pow days or days where I know that theres going to be a lot of long trails to plow through. This board is great for groomed and ungroomed riding and has nothing but suprises in store for me. I love my 2010 Twin for freestyle and messing around on the mountain, but when it comes to just carving and riding this board takes the absolute cake. Paired up with EST bindings this board is easy to set back adjust on the mountain to just ride pow. I highly recommend anyone who is intermediate who is looking to get an all around board to advance, just get this and you will be in bliss. This board will seriously serve all your purposes and more.
"Great fun park board !" 4/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Twin
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jumps,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Great to learn switch on, Awesome Graphics, Easy to maneuver
  • Cons:  Top sheet feels like in time - More in Details,

Experience:   This was my park/all mountain/freestyle board that replaced my 2010 Deuce for this season. I love this board for all its worth. Its great to learn switch on and its easy to maneuver. The graphics on the board are sick and the compliments are non stop on the mountain. In the air, whipping the board around is pretty cake and I basically love it. The only complaint I have is that the top sheet of this board had to have the top sheet to the special graphics portion of the board feels like its going to come off in time. There are portions of the top sheet where its already lifting in strands like a ripple effect. Otherwise to ride, I love it.
"Decent for what its worth" 4/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Deuce
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Low Speeds
  • Pros:  Easy to ride,
  • Cons:  Too soft for my taste, Top sheet scuffs too easy,

Experience:   This was my board to ride coming into the 2010 season. Although it was great and I loved the graphics, the top sheet of this board scuffed really easy. I also found it easy to ride on powder and groomed runs, but when it came to ice the edges didn't hold as well as I had hoped for. This board is otherwise decent, but not for long trails as this is too soft of a board in my opinion to ride non stop for a long period of time.
"One of the best !" 4/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Cartel EST
  • Pros:  Great Support, White/Black matched my 156 X, Great toe cap strap
  • Cons:  Don't like the fabric on the straps,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   This has got to be one of the best bindings I have ridden. They offer great support and its not that hefty on the wallet compared to the C02 and the C60's. The only complaint I have is the fabric/cloth type that is blended into the straps, I feel like within time this cloth will sheer off or rip. Otherwise very happy !
"Missions" 2/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Mission
  • Pros:  Great lightweight bindings,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Comared to my 08 Missions the 2010 bindings seem more lighter and stiffer in the right areas. These also fit my 2010 Rulers in the toe strap perfectly and keeps it snug. The rear adjustment is a little of a pain, but its forgiven. I love them for the price.
