"Giro goggles" 3/14/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Giro Roots Goggles
  • Pros:  fits a large face, comes with two lenses,, spare lense case is padded,
  • Cons:  nothing extra special about them,

Experience:   I got the olive colored ones, which came with two sets of lenses. We used one for a bluebird condition and one for a blustery day on the mountain. It was great to just switch them out. The process to switch them out is fairly easy. One thing that I did like about the spare lenses is that it comes in a padded case to protect it. The goggles themselves also come in a more padded case than I'm used to for goggles. This might be useful for someone who is rough with their gear. Great goggles for the price, due to the fact that they do come with two sets of lenses. I would agree that these goggles are a great mid-range goggle as they don't have anything extra special associated with them. They fit a larger framed face and completely covered the face from edge to edge of the helmet. Although no gap occured between the helmet and the goggles, a little bit of a draft was felt there. I ended up putting on a balaclava and covering them with my goggles to eliminate the draft.
"Great binding. " 7/29/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Burton Lexa EST Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  The ratchet system,

Experience:   I have a pair of Lexas and love them. The ratchet system on the Burton's is unmatched with other bindings. The toe strap and top strap are comfortable and durable. I have a pair of 8-1/2 size boots and chose the large size. They are nearly at the last spot for the straps, but I would rather have more strap after the fit than not enough strap. These are a quality binding for sure. My last pair were stolen along with my board. I am looking to replace with the same bindings I had because I loved them so much.
"Sierra V-spot" 1/2/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra V Spot Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Super springy,
  • Cons:  Not the best for Hard Groomers,

Experience:   I love this board. I have been riding for about 10 years on a TANK of a board. When I purchased this board, I was looking for a much lighter board and found something perfect with the V-Spot. I was able to ride the lift without having a pull from the board. It was great. As far as the ride goes, I am super happy with the purchase. I am able to do some pretty great hops, which really weren't in my ability before. As I said, this board is so light. It's also super springy and turns great. When riding on the icy groomer runs (which happens all too often where I ride), it feels like the back end is going to give way.
"Quality Bag" 9/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Gravis Anna Womens
  • Pros:  Great Color, Good Construction,

Experience:   I got the 2010 Dress Blue version and I love the color and style. It is built well, good construction. Seems like it's going to last a long time. From the picture on the internets, I thought the front had two zippered compartments, but when I got it in the mail, noticed that there was only one. It is large enough to hold a larger, smartphone type, phone without any problem. The inside is one large compartment with a small zippered pouch for keys, pens, or other necessities (fairly large in comparison to other purses I've owned). There's a few spaces for pens and a cell phone on the inside that looks kind of like the inside of a backpack. One of the reviews said this was not a purse to go to the disco, but my dress blue one is snazzy enough to do just that, but I am going to be using it as my day to day purse.
"Great Stomp" 9/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Dakine BFly Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Very grippy,

Experience:   This stomp is great. Big enough to do it's job but small enough not to take up your entire board. It is truly an aggressive stomp. I got the Grey/White one to go on my V-spot with Burton Lexa bindings. The combination is sweet. Unfortunately with the location of the stomp, it covers up some of the great graphics of the board.
"Cute, Thick socks" 9/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Scout Womens
  • Pros:  Cute color, fit,
  • Cons:  too thick for my taste,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  The socks fit great... bit thick

Experience:   These socks are super cute. The color of the socks were better than I expected from the picture on the website, more brilliant than I expected. The fit is great, but unfortunately I will never wear them boarding. I generally wear a thinner sock within my boots for them to fit right. These are REALLY thick socks that will keep you warm, but for me personally, I will only be able to wear them around town during a cold day and up in the resorts. If you like ski/boarding socks that are thicker that will keep you warm in a storm, these are for you.
"Feels like a slipper" 9/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Gravis Misha Shoes
  • Pros:  Fit true to size, feel like a slipper,
  • Cons:  No arch support (if that's something you need),

Experience:   I love these shoes. They are casual enough to wear with jeans and just dressy enough to wear with nicer clothes. I got the black pair (canvas type material), so they're more casual. They totally feel like I'm wearing slippers all day. The soles of the shoes are rugged enough to wear all day through some minor weather.
"Great Binding once Dialed" 4/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Lexa Womens
  • Pros:  very responsive. easy to get in and out of,
  • Cons:  Difficult to get dialed. Toe slipped, but fine when fixed. ,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I love these bindings. I switched from a pair of flows to these, and they are super responsive, easy to get dialed and the ratchet system is incredible.
"Great Board" 4/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Stunt Wide Snowboard 153
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Easy to turn. Very responsive.,
  • Cons:  Don't see any yet.,

Experience:   I have read reviews on reverse camber boards before and have seen comments such as it makes you a better rider. I didn't quite understand that until I rode this board. It's super easy and makes you more a more confident rider. I have been riding for about 10 years now and felt like I was at my peak. Now I feel like I could try more on this board.
"Great Binding Great Price" 4/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Lexa Womens
  • Pros:  Great Price, feels great,

Experience:   I just got these and put them on a friends lib tech board. My previous bindings were Flows and I absolutely love these bindings. I love the lightweight feel to them (see previous binding flows). They are super easy to get in and out of. They are a bit stiff but think that they'll losen up as I use them.
