"Good Jacket good looks" 2/1/2008
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Bonfire Chroma
  • Pros:  This is a great jacket that will keep you warm. Bonfire makes great outerwear, that fits well. It love the pockets for your ipod, and how it can thread through the pocket to the top.
  • Cons:  After a lot of usage, this jacket ends up with usual wear and tear (starts to rip a little on the seams). But that is expected with any old jacket.

Experience:   Great jacket, good while it lasts.
"The F-series" 10/22/2007
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Salomon F22
  • Pros:  The fusion series is great. Salomon tried to minimize the size of the snowboard boot for less toe drag and a better feel. This is the most comfortable boot I have ever tried. It is incredibly easy to slide your foot in, and it rides like a dream. There is no need to heat mold the liner either. You can just throw these babies on and ride. Also I was amazed that this boot was SMALLER than the same size in a shoe. (size 12 skate shoe vs. size 12 boot).
  • Cons:  The F-series runs a little small so it would be beneficial to size up. (Ex. I wear a size 12 shoe, and would probably use a size 12.5 or 13 boot).

Experience:   Great boot, one of Salomon's best. This boot is on the stiffer side, so I would not recommend it for people who want to use it in the park. Flexible boots are better for park. Go with the f20 if you are park centered.
"Solid Backpack" 2/1/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Tactic -25L Pack
  • Pros:  Dakine makes quality backpacks that will hold up. They are big, and have all the straps that you may need to carry snowboard gear. Great color selection too.
  • Cons:  No complaints

Experience:   Solid backpack, but very snowboard oriented.
"Great Wax" 2/1/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Dakine Wax -Cool
  • Pros:  This wax works great and will have your board zooming the next day. It melts well onto your board and is easy to scrape off.
  • Cons:  Cool wax, meaning that this should not be used if you are waxing in the spring.

Experience:   Make sure to have a base cleaner, waxing iron, wax, and a scraper.
"Solid gloves" 2/1/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Profile Glove
  • Pros:  These gloves are really warm compared to other park gloves. They keep your fingers toasty without restricting hand movement.
  • Cons:  Great, almost as warm as mittens. But if you are going for warmth, mittens will be the best.

Experience:   Good, but not the warmest.
"Great Helmet" 2/1/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Bern Macon Hard Hat
  • Pros:  This helmet has the simple look, but looks great! It does the trick. It is very comfortable.
  • Cons:  There is not a large color selection. Also Bern is not allowed to say it is a helmet because it does not meet standards. So if you are going to complete protection rather than looks, check out some other helmets.

Experience:   Great helmet, but it only protects your head a little.
"Great park board" 1/25/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Forum Manual
  • Pros:  Forum has come out with yet another great snowboard. This board has a perfect amount of pop, and a lot of flex. It is a great ride in the park.
  • Cons:  Not a very good all mountain board. This is specific for jibs.

Experience:   Sick and original graphics
"Very warm" 1/25/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Coal The Waffle
  • Pros:  Coal makes some of the best and warmest hats on the market. They fit great, and keep your head toasty. Great hat, and I especially like the pom-pom.
  • Cons:  Not that many colors

Experience:   Warm hat overall, good buy.
"Great helmet" 1/25/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Smith Holt Jr
  • Pros:  This helmet looks great, and also fits great. The designs are incredible, and the helmet has a brim. This is a very comfortable helmet, and will help you enjoy your ride.
  • Cons:  Not a large color selection

Experience:
"Solid Helmet" 1/25/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 RED Trace
  • Pros:  This is a great, and simple RED helmet. It fits nice and snug, and is not very irritating. There are a variety of colors. This helmet will do the job, but it is very simple. This can also be used skating or biking which makes it very handy.
  • Cons:  It is not all that warm. But you can always wear a hat underneath.

Experience:   Great convertible idea. Very interesting, and performs well.
"Great goggles" 1/25/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Anon Figment Print
  • Pros:  These goggles perform. They fit perfectly on your head, and they do not really get scratched up. They are comfortable, and have a curved lens to avoid the scratches.
  • Cons:  The lens is not that great in the dark.

Experience:   Great goggles, cool graphics
"Excellent board" 1/17/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Flow Quantum SL Series
  • Pros:  This board is possibly the best park board out there. Designed by Scotty Lago himself, it has a medium amount of flex and pop that makes you feel comfortable doing just about anything. This board also placed 1st in the Transworld good wood ratings for a park board under 400 dollars.
  • Cons:  Not so hot of a board if you are looking to ride the mountain. Steer more toward an all mountain board for that.

Experience:   Cheap, great, cool graphics, outstanding ride
"Great Technology" 1/17/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Ride DH
  • Pros:  This board is one of Ride's nicest (in the park) and it rides like a dream. It actually works pretty well as an all mountain board, and you will be surprised. It has a large amount of pop, and the feel of it is excellent. This board will hold up in many conditions, so mix it up. This board features slime walls which are dampening and help you land things better. The pop and flex combine to help you on kickers.
  • Cons:  none

Experience:   Great board, great graphics, great ride
""The Lightest Boot on the Market"" 1/14/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 32 Ultralight
  • Pros:  Well clearly you can tell by the title that these boots are ultra light. That is because most of the boot is made of foam. This creates and amazingly light boot that makes your board feel like it is literally strapped to your feet. The gel liner feels good and molds to the shape of your foot.
  • Cons:  Personally, i do not know how durable these boots are. They are made of foam, so I cannot claim anything.

Experience:   The lightest boot EVER
"Great boot" 1/14/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 32 Lashed
  • Pros:  This boot fits nice, and is pretty light. There is not much more you could ask for. Before the ultralights came out, these were some of the lightest boots on the market. They are very comfortable, yet they are not all that flexible. These are great boots for the regular rider.
  • Cons:  These boots are great in general, but are quite simple and down to the point.

Experience:
"Great Park Board" 1/14/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Forum Youngblood
  • Pros:  This is one of the most ridden boards by the forum team. And there is a reason for that. It rides amazingly well. The youngblood was designed by the forum team itself. If is very flexible and will help you add buttery tricks to your book. The board was rated number 2 on the transworld good wood ratings. That is because this board can take a beating. Riding this board just feels natural. It is always easier to progress when you have comfort in your board. This board is also forgiving on rails. It can sometimes give you the benefit of the doubt on a sketchy slide. It is good to ride with a board you can trust. That way you will try more and be more comfortable in your riding.
  • Cons:  Not many. This board will not perform like others if you are riding groomers. That is not what it is made for. So do not buy this board if you are going to focus on something other than the park.

Experience:   Solid board, cool graphics, what else could you want?
"Not so good for helmets" 1/14/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Oakley Wisdom
  • Pros:  These goggles are great and do not fog up. They are reliable and have a great design.
  • Cons:  There is only one flaw. The way these goggles attach to your head prevents you from wearing these under your helmet.

Experience:   Overall these are great goggles, and you can always just wear them over your helmet.
"Great board, while it lasts" 1/14/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Ride Kink
  • Pros:  This board has a lot of pop, and a twin shape. If butters well, and slides well. It also features slime walls which are "more forgiving" and take the impact better. This is a great park board and is focused on jibs (hence the name).
  • Cons:  I had this board, and it cracked on the nose. Although this may have been because of a weird landing, it still messed up my board. Luckily the ride customer support dealt with it, and I got my money back.

Experience:   Good board, but do NOT buy if you are not planning to use it in the park.

Its a park board bro!!!

"All the great stuff from last year" 1/14/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Capita Stairmaster
  • Pros:  Capita took last years stairmaster and improved it. They kept a similar design. This board performs on rails, and is meant to be used in the park. A team favorite, the stairmaster helps your riding on all the jibs.
  • Cons:  The pop may wear down after you have ridden this board for a long period of time.

Experience:   Great board but don't buy for riding the mountain. It is park centered and you will be disappointed (if you use it for all mountain).
"Progression" 1/14/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton RPM Leather Glove
  • Pros:  These gloves are great. Leather would seem to not be a very warm material, but that is completely wrong about these gloves. These gloves keep your hands completely warm even when they look soaked.
  • Cons:  I would suggest to buy some waterproofing material, because these gloves are leather, and the manufactured material may not work as great as they claim.

Experience:
"Just as great as any liner" 1/14/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton AK Powerstretch Liner
  • Pros:  This liner will help warm up your fingers in an ordinary glove. It is great for filming, because you do not need to take your hand completely out of the glove. That way your hands will keep some warmth as you take pictures or film your buddy.
  • Cons:  These look great, but make sure you have the right size, or else it is not as comfortable.

Experience:   Much better than hand warmers.
"Great, confortable pants" 1/14/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Bonfire Radiant
  • Pros:  These pants are great for any riding. They are comfortable, and you can adjust the size of the waist with elastic strips. The zippers and pockets hold up nicely.
  • Cons:  Like all pants, if you buy these really big, the bottoms will rip as they drag on the ground.

Experience:
"The jib pro" 1/14/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Rome Artifact
  • Pros:  This board will glide on rails. The twin tip design and the large amount of pop will help you master the jibs. The design is also very original, and the bottom just cracks me up.
  • Cons:  The top sheet started to come off on my friends (because he ran into a box). But Rome's 2 year warranty should handle those problems.

Experience:   Buy this board if you are intent on learning, or improving on rails and boxes.
"Great park snowboard" 1/14/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2008 Rome Mod
  • Pros:  Nice and buttery. Great board to learn rails with. It is a twin tip with great flex for those presses.
  • Cons:  Centered toward park. It will not perform as well taking runs on the mountain. This would NOT be a good all mountain snowboard.

Experience:   Cool design, great board. What else could you ask for? I would buy this if you are riding at least 50 percent park.
"A little small" 1/14/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 RED Mutiny
  • Pros:  This helmet looks good, and is quite confortable. The brim is great.
  • Cons:  It looks really small when compared to your head. Also the brim is not removable (just preference).

Experience:   It is a popular helmet that will look small but feel good.
"The looks" 1/9/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Oakley Crowbar -Fire
  • Pros:  These goggles look incredible. They are probably the best goggles for looks on the market. They don't really fog either.
  • Cons:  None

Experience:
"Light and confortable" 1/9/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Salomon F20
  • Pros:  This boat is amazingly light. But it is also incredibly confortable. The speed lacing makes the boot incredibly easy to put on and off. There is no need to heat mold, you can put these boots on and you can go ride.
  • Cons:  You need to size UP, because these boots run a little small.

Experience:
