"These are the best goggles on the market" 2/8/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Smith Phenom Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  great lenses, great fit, lifetime warranty, clip on strap

Experience:   I have two pairs of these goggles. One sensor mirror and one platinum mirror. The sensor mirror lens is by far the best low light lens I've ever looked through. Its not that great on a bluebird but out in Whitefish MT we get way more fog than sun. I where the platinum mirror for the bluebird days.
"Good pant " 2/8/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Analog Asset Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Nice cut , good material, well constructed, good inseam length
  • Cons:  a little restrictive on the hips, vents on the knees,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  standard fit. not baggy not slim fit

Experience:   I'm 5'10 180lbs wear a 33 waist in most jeans, and medium in most snow pants. I got these in Medium and honestly there is no extra space in the waist or the hips. They are quite fitted on me. That said they do actually fit me well, although I'd like a little more room. I would say they are a 33 waist if you wear a 34 get a large. The legs are spacious and have some bagginess but its a relaxed fit not baggy. I really don't know how anyone could call these huge if anything I would say they are cut a little small. I'm not sure if I will keep these or send them back based on the somewhat restrictive fit. The inseam is perfect at around 31. The vents are in the worst place I can imagine, as the knees are usually what drags along the snow when you fall forward. When bend your knees these vents open wide to allow maximum snow intake. Why not put them on the inner thigh like most pants. That area rarely makes contact with the ground. Design over function. The color is Blue which is not as washed out as trusnow picture but not as bright as backcountrys... somewhere in between. Its a true cobalt blue. The material is sturdy and heavy, definitely a tough shell and there is fleece over the bum and knees to keep you warm on the frozen lift.
"great summer shoe" 7/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Gravis Makani
  • Pros:  light, comfortable, well vented

Experience:   I would go a half size bigger on these but the true size works its just a little snug. Other than that... great shoe.
"the hero is pretty sweet" 4/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton The Hero Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Low Speeds,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  super fun, Tons of flex, buttery

Experience:   I thought this board might be to small for me as I got a 155 and I'm 5'10 180lbs. I wanted a smaller board for jibing but was worried I went a little to small. I was wrong this board is the perfect size for what I wanted Mine came with a white base which I'm not thrilled about but at the price I can't complain. I wouldn't recommend buying a 155 if you are my size and this would be your only board I don't think it float me in the pow. We will see next season.

"Good Solid Boot" 2/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Forum Shepherd Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Comfortable , 70% off, Tough
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  9
  • Boot Size:  9.5

Experience:   This boot definitely runs a little small. The liner is super nice and cushy. I have fully broken them in yet so my feet hurt after about four hours of riding but that's like any new boot. They are not the most attractive boots but whatever... they fit. And at 70% off you can't go wrong. A half size up will fit perfect.
"good tough shell but not into removable liner" 12/6/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Foursquare Aaron
  • Pros:  tough, waterproof,
  • Cons:  bad cut ,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  The shell fit like a M but with the liner fits like a S.

Experience:   Even though this jacket fit it didn't feel lke it did. The liner was small and the sleeves were short and it didn't interface with the jacket well. If the liner was attached you could not use your waste gator. Not the jacket for me. The 2009 looks like it may be better. I sent it back.

  • Name: 2009 Burton Space Sack Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  even at full price its a good deal... at 10.49 your stupid not to order one. If you have no bag at all this is good basic protection for car rides and storage.

"Great shoes really great price." 5/16/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Gravis Makani
  • Pros:  Nice fit for my narrow feet. really good summer shoe breathable. Really styley and good color

  • Name: 2008 Smith Phenom Mirror
  • Pros:  These are so comfortable. Super cool, and well vented. Great in low light Gold sensor mirror.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Sierra Mountain Short Sleeve

"Burton Bindings are are top!" 2/12/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Uninc EST
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Adjustability, Easy in & out, Boot hold, Durable, Good construction quality, Lightweight, Comfortable, Well known brand, Popular model, Easy installation
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   These bindings are really light. They are comfortable and well designed. They fit my old Northwave boots perfectly but my 32 Primes are a little snug around the heal. They will work though. I would make sure your preferred boots fit in the the bindings before buying. I have narrow feet so I don't like Burton Boots. The heal is a little narrow on there bindings. That said Burton makes great bindings and the est system works really well. The canted footbeds make them even more comfortable. These are really similar to Cartels only they have a few upgrades. The straps and the footbed are the upgrades. I have an 08 uninc board and these bindings and the setup is super light. Also the new cap straps do not slip like the old ones they remain tight and secure. These are among the best bindings on the market. The only con is that there is only one color choice.
"Good simple lock!" 2/3/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Cool Lock
  • Pros:  small and light. keeps the board from growing legs and walking off. Easy on the wallet.
  • Cons:  short line so you can't lock more than one board easily.

Experience:
"Great sound!" 2/2/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 RED Aletta Audex Sub Womens
  • Pros:  Not sure why the bad review. The sound is great. I would never pay 170.00 for it but Skullcandy makes good sounding audio.
  • Cons:  Patchwork Red is lame color and the helmet definitely runs a size small. If you where medium Smith get a large. The audio cord dangles does not disconnect close enough to the ear piece. WHo wants to ride without sounds anyway..

Experience:   Great deal thanks sierra.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Fileguide Kit
  • Pros:  I got it cheap and it was worth the $17 no more!
  • Cons:  This thing is basically retarded. not to make fun of retarded people. But in the definition of the word "retarded" or to retard something... whatever I'm not always P.C. but you get the point. Major design flaw. It looks like it can do so much more. Infact it only files the side edge.
