"No frills step-in bindings" 8/26/2016
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Flow Quattro
  • Pros:  Quick in and out,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   This is my favorite of the Flow bindings even though it's one of the lower end ones that they make. There aren't as many things to adjust but also means less for you to mess up. Easy in, easy out. Make your adjustments at the beginning and you're good to go. It's pretty flexible.
"Good board for groomers" 8/26/2016
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Operator
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Solid ride,

Experience:   Good board to ride the groomed runs. I didn't take it to the park so I'm not sure how good it would be there. It has regular camber and has good grip when carving.
"Good for the price" 8/25/2016

  • Name: 2009 Sessions Stripe Softshell Hoodie
  • Pros:  soft, comfortable, waterproof
  • Cons:  not very breathable,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   This jacket will keep you warm on a spring day on the slopes. I wouldn't wear it when it's too cold because it's not insulated. The sleeve gloves are handy when you're just wearing the jacket in town and you didn't bring your gloves.
"Great little jacket" 8/25/2016

  • Name: 2013 Columbia Lush Plush Hoodie Fleece
  • Pros:  Warm,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   It's nice and soft, and has the Omni-heat shiny stuff on the inside that keeps you nice and warm. You can wear it by itself on a cool day or use it as a mid-layer in the snow. Another quality item from Columbia.
"I love this design!" 8/25/2016
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Sierra Headphones TShirt
  • Pros:  Sierra!,
  • Cons:  No more men's available,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   this was my favorite design of all the Sierra shirts. Too bad they don't have the men's sizes anymore...
"Top of the Line Flow Bindings" 8/24/2016
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2014 Flow NX2SE Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Fast,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   The is the top of the Flow food chain. Bunch of stuff to adjust so you can get it just right. You can get in and out quickly and easily. But, you pay in it's weight...
"Quick, but heavy" 8/24/2016
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2014 Flow NX2AT Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Get in and out quickly,
  • Cons:  Heavy, Comes loose,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   This is good if you like to get in and out of your bindings fast without cranking the straps. Takes some effort at the beginning to adjust everything just right but you'll be going down the slopes faster off the lift than the rest after that. It's heavy though, so carrying your board around is more of a pain. And the crank lock sometimes comes loose during the run so you would have to readjust...
"Good all-around board" 8/24/2016
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Reverse Crew Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Park,Powder,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Reverse camber,
  • Cons:  Boring graphics,

Experience:   I rode this board for a few seasons before I moved on to a hybrid board. I still hop on the board whenever I just want to mess around on the slopes. It's a fun board that you can take on the groomers and also the park. But, I wouldn't ride it on icy days because you won't get enough traction.

"Too bad only Smalls left" 8/17/2016

  • Name: 2011 Sierra Headphones TShirt Men's
  • Pros:  Looks good,

Experience:   This is a sweet looking shirt. Too bad they only have size small left...
"Good basic pants" 8/4/2016
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2016 The North Face Freedom Ski Pants
  • Pros:  Stays dry, Affordable,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Just right

Experience:   Good basic pants with a cargo pocket. The zippered vents on the inside of the legs work really well on warm days. Keeps your butt dry like it's supposed to. Gives you full range of motion without feeling too loose.
"BioZone performs" 8/4/2016
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2014 Oakley Limited Biozone Fleece
  • Pros:  Insulation, Moisture control,
  • Cons:  Little tight on shoulder/armpit area,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  It's just right almost everywhere, except shoulder/armpit area feel smaller

Experience:   BioZone is designed to help with moisture control where you usually get moister, and give you insulation where you want to stay warm, and comfort zone to keep you feeling comfortable. I think they succeeded. I've worn the jacket in both colder and warmer conditions (skipping the mid-layer on warm days) and it has performed. I've stayed dry and warm, but not too warm, it's just right. The only thing I don't like is that the shoulder/armpit area is a little tight when I reach to buckle in/out of my bindings.
"Old School Sierra Representn'" 8/3/2016
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Ready to Butter
  • Pros:  Design,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   Reminds me of the good'ol days of Sierra. Although the design has nothing to do with snowboarding. Only snowboarders will know what buttering means.
"Daughter loves it" 8/2/2016
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2015 Burton Grom Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Styling...,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Bought a pink pair for my 6-yr old daughter and she loves it. She hasn't been able to wear it on the slopes yet, but she walks all over the house with them on, pretending to ride. The velcro closure makes it easier for the kids to wear the boots themselves so they don't have to mess with laces.
"Easy for kids" 8/2/2016
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2015 Burton Grom Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Good for kids,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   The strap is easy to buckle in and open for little kids. Especially when their little hands are in their huge mittens, some straps may be hard to release. This is not the case for this pair of bindings. The Burton Grom is made for the kids to strap in and out by themselves so you don't have to help them!
"Good low-budget boots" 8/2/2016
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 DC Phase Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Economical, Durable,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8
  • Boot Size:  7.5

Experience:   Been wearing the DC Phase since 2007 and it finally showed its age last season after 8 years. The front rubber sole is beginning to split from the toe cap area. Other than that, it's been a great pair of boots. It's comfortable, gives you enough flex but not too much so you still feel in control. And it's relatively cheap.
"Great bindings!" 2/28/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Rome S90 Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Secure, Stylish
  • Cons:  Highback adjustment difficult,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I won a pair of the S90s last May and didn't get a chance to try them out until this season. I usually ride in groomed blue and black runs. The bindings felt comfortable with the padded ankle straps. The toe straps felt secure and I felt I was in total control of the board. Both straps are easy to adjust on the fly and it's easy to work the ratchets. It felt flexible and playful. I would recomment these bindings for just about any type of riding.
"Good boot for the price" 2/24/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 DC Phase Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Good price, Comfortable, Durable
  • Cons:  Inner liner lace comes loose,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8
  • Boot Size:  8

Experience:   I've used this boot for several seasons and it's still holding up and looks pretty new. It's comfortable to wear, walking around and while riding. There's enough flex, but not too soft. And it's relatively inexpensive. The only problem I have with it is that the lace clip/lock for the inner liner is usually loose when I take off my boots at the end of the day. But I don't think it affects the ride.
"Good deal for 2 lenses" 12/19/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Giro Manifest Goggles
  • Pros:  Extra lense, No fogging,
  • Cons:  Made for narrow face,

Experience:   I've worn these goggles for 2 days of riding in sunny weather. It comes with an extra lens for stormy days but I haven't had to use it. Haven't had any issues with it so far.
