"Awesome Pants That will last!" 4/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Ranger Snowboard Pants
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Breathable, Great Fit, Super Waterproof, Life Time Warranty!
  • Cons:  Limited colors,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Burton makes their pants slightly larger than other companies so order accordingly.

Experience:   These pants are a perfect addition to my Burton Artic Jacket. They are very comfortable, well made, and fit great, if not a bit large for the size. They are extremely waterproof, yet to get wet in them. They breath incredibly well and offer awesome ventilation when you get warm. Usual Burton pants features allow you to zip it up to your coat and keep the snow out. You can't go wrong with these pants, especially with a lifetime warranty!
"Great Binding" 5/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Triad
  • Pros:  Great Freestyle binding, Lots of padding, Can you say Cushion?
  • Cons:  I like a higher back but that's just me!,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   Great binding for freestyle riding with lots of padding and a really forgiving gel base. The ratcheting system lets you get the tightness just right without allowing you to over tighten. Straps are padded to keep your feet from falling asleep. I personally like the higher back on the Cartel's but that's just a personal thing. All in all you would be hard pressed to go wrong with these bindings, especially if you spend the vast majority of your time in the park.
"Look like girls sun glasses" 5/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Anon Allie
  • Pros:  Cheap , Made by Anon (Burton),
  • Cons:  They look like women's sun glasses in person!,

Experience:   These are a nice pair of sunglasses but just like everything online, they look different in person. They look like women's sunglasses to me and I didn't feel comfortable wearing them. Otherwise they are a good deal.
"Ok for small falls!" 5/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Red Impact Short Youth
  • Pros:  Soft padding helps disperse impact force, Fit is true to size,
  • Cons:  Needs a hard plastic to be a real life saver. ,

Experience:   I have demo'd the adult version of these shorts and all I can tell you is that they offer a mild increase in protection. If you want some serious protection you will need to upgrade to a short or padding that has a plastic guard for your bum. It's a shame that Sierra doesn't sell the Azzpad which works wonderfully and offers loads more protection then these nicely padded shorts. Verdict: Ok if all you want is some more padding but if you want real protection look else where.
"Just like any other Fleece Jacket" 5/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Blitzer Windstopper Hoodie Hthrd Resin
  • Pros:  Lightweight , Warm, Soft and good color options!
  • Cons:  Doesn't feel quite as nice as Northface!, Fleece doesn't block wind.,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  A bit baggy which is normal for Burton!

Experience:   Good Fleece hoody that does all a fleece jacket should. Lightweight, warm, soft, and good combo of color options which look a lot more vibrant in person. If you want a jacket that will keep out the wind fleece is not for you. Otherwise a solid choice from a good company. Fit is baggy.
"Get Gor-tex to keep you dry!" 4/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 686 Summit Insulated
  • Pros:  Grippy Palm , Good Insulation, Seem well constructed
  • Cons:  Are not waterproof enough to last all day, Your hands get cold when gloves get wet!,

Experience:   I have used these gloves for a while now and they work pretty good for the price. Don't expect them to last all day though as they get throughly soaked by 1 or 2 pm in the day. They keep your hands dry for the most part but when they got really soaked my hands started to get cold and numb. Overall a good glove but I think you would be smarter to purchase a glove with some Gor-tex to keep your hands dry all day!
"Great Goggle" 4/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Giro Roots Goggles
  • Pros:  Clear View, Works great with Helmet, Lense color offers superior vision in low light
  • Cons:  Still fogs if your not moving,

Experience:   I have used this goggle for a season now and I think for the money they are amazing. Clear vision, fits my size face and doesn't fog if you don't stop moving. Great Goggle!
"Wife Loves these!" 4/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Gore Womens
  • Pros:  Warm, Dry , Quality
  • Cons:  Runs a little big!,

Experience:   My wife uses these gloves and she loves them. They keep her hands warm and dry. The only problem is they run a little big. Nothing a liner can't solve!
"Solid inexpensive glove! " 4/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Profile
  • Pros:  Warm, Dry, Won't fall apart!
  • Cons:  To small in the wrist area!,

Experience:   Great glove for the price. Only complaint is that it's a bit small in the wrist area and will get wet if you are constantly putting them in the snow.
"Great Binding!" 4/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Cartel EST
  • Pros:  EST offers ton of adjustments, Highback gives tons of support, Better Board Feel!
  • Cons:  Some cheap pieces of plastic, Ratchet broke on second use,

Experience:   I demo'd this binding on two occasions. Both times I used my friends Operator board and black Cartel EST Bindings. The overall feel is improved with the EST system, but I wouldn't describe it as a night and day difference. Shock absorption is slightly increased as well. I honestly don't feel like the EST offers that much more in terms of feeling, the big advantage is in the ease of adjustment. They feel very similar to the Burton Custom binding with a bit more support and stiffness added. There are only two problems with the binding. The first is that the plastic piece that releases the top strap stopped working after only a couple uses. The piece didn't break, it just wouldn't push down on the buckle release properly. This left me no choice but to use a screw driver to get out of them. Further inspection showed some that the plastic piece in question is cheap feeling. Something I wouldn't expect from a binding that retails for $260. I would say the overall build quality is a little lacking, otherwise it is a great all mountain freestyle binding. I feel the Burton Customs offer almost the performance and quality at half the price.
"Great binding from a great company" 4/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Union Contact
  • Pros:  Union quality, great padding, helps feel when riding freestyle
  • Cons:  High back could be higher,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   Great binding from the company that only makes bindings. Unions are a great bet everytime. Just make sure you like more flex in your bindings otherwise you might want to check out a stiffer binding.
"Good buy!" 4/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Cargo Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Good waterproof rating!, Burton Quality,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Good fit. Follow the size chart, the legs are long!

Experience:
"Really Big!" 4/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions King
  • Pros:  Warm , Feels well made!,
  • Cons:  Way to big for my head!,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Really Big!

Experience:   I tried this guy on in my local store and it was way to big for my head so be forewarned if you have a smaller sized head.
"Great Binding for Freestyle!" 4/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Flow Quattro
  • Pros:  Easy Entry/Exit, Loose feeling helps mobility,
  • Cons:  Can't tighten lower and upper separately, The cable that holds the back up means flexing!,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   Good binding if you want a freestyle oriented binding that allows for easy entry/exit. If you like to bomb runs and go fast this is not the best binding but for the price you really can't go wrong. My main complaint is that it is difficult to get the tightness right on the bottom and top.
"Great Pants for the Price" 4/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Foursquare Yeung Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Built well, Good Waterproof, Lots of Pockets
  • Cons:  Could be warmer!,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  As the size chart described!

Experience:   I demo'd these pants and they were great. I little on the thin side but they are a great pant for the price. If you need a really good pair of snowboarding pants and don't want to spend a fortune you can't go wrong with these!
"Beanies are a thing of the past" 4/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Giro G10 Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Good Ventilation, Ears stay warm, Keeps my head safe
  • Cons:  A little heavy,

Experience:   Great helmet that has basically made beanies obsolete. Gives me more confidence to push myself in all areas of my riding. Keeps me warm and dry. Works great with Giro goggles. Only complaint is it's a little heavy.
"Too Soft For me!" 4/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Salomon F20
  • Pros:  Great Feel, Flexible , Good Liner
  • Cons:  Difficult to tighten, Way to soft,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   Great boot if you really like to move around a lot. I personally found these boots to be overly soft lacking in support, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. I just like a much stiffer boot, even for freestyle riding. Otherwise it's a great choice. I like Burton's Ruler lacing system better.
"Great Jacket for the price!" 4/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Foursquare Adams
  • Pros:  Includes Vest, Lots of Pockets/ Features, Keeps me dry!
  • Cons:  A little baggy,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Fit is a tiny bit large.

Experience:   Great Jacket that does everything you need it to. Vest is great when it gets colder. Has lots of features including a zip string for your lift ticket or season pass. Lots of Pockets. White gets dirty easily. Great Jacket!
"Great Pant that fits perfectly!" 4/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Special Blend LRG DB Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Very Waterproof, Breathable, Well Made
  • Cons:  Fabric collects snow,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Fit was as size chart described!

Experience:   These pants are a great addition to your gear. They are comfy, warm and fit just right. They aren't too long either. My only complaint is that the fabric collects snow when riding in powder. Can't go wrong with them.
"Good Tool for those who tune!" 4/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Dakine Replacement Snowboard Files
  • Pros:  Tune or detune your edge, Remove burrs,

Experience:   Great tool if you know what your doing!
"Very Versatile Jacket from Burton" 4/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Arctic
  • Pros:  Lightweight, breathable, Very waterproof, Burton Jacket Features
  • Cons:  May need to layer in colder weather!,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Jacket had a perfect fit if you follow the size chart!

Experience:   This jacket goes great with my Burton Ranger pants as the two can zip together to keep the snow out. Fits true to size and is really comfortable. Very waterproof, very breathable and just enough room to aid mobility but definitely not a dress. Only downside is the color selection can be a bit boring. Great jacket at a Great price.
"Great Gloves that stay dry!" 4/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Gore Under
  • Pros:  Really Warm, Stay dry even in rain, Inserts are great
  • Cons:  Slight tearing on the inner fabric. ,

Experience:   You simply cannot go wrong with these gloves. They keep you dry, warm and will last many season. Dexterity is limited but otherwise they are a great purchase especially at this price.
"Awesome Binding" 4/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Custom
  • Pros:  High Backs make heelside turns easy, Perfect blend of flex and stiffness, Toe Strap works awesome
  • Cons:  Needs more padding for shock absorbsion, Base plates don't work well with 4 hole setup ,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are a great all around binding. I have used Union, Ride ect. The highbacks are found on Burton's upper series bindings and work great for all mountain setups. The straps are high quality and stop you from over tightening. The toe straps really help board control. Regular Burton quality. Has the right blend of flex and stiffness for an all mountain setup. Only complaints are that they need more padding to help absorb more impact and the stupid Burton baseplates don't work well with a 4 hole setup. Otherwise I really recommend these bindings. They look trick in white!
"Best Boot I have ever owned!" 4/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Ruler
  • Pros:  Two zone Tightening, Stage two insole, Perfect fit
  • Cons:  Packs out so get a smaller size,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   I had some older boots that needed to be replaced. Originally tried on the Moto but couldn't get the lower region tight enough to prevent heal lift. The Ruler was a better fit over all. The two lace pull system makes getting in and out far quicker than a traditional boot. You can really fine tune the fit to your specific needs and riding style. These are an all mountain, go anywhere boot that is stiff enough to bomb the steepest black diamond but flexible enough to ride park. The lacing system allow you to loosen up when you need more flex in the park. The sole uses air and special cushioning to absorb hard impacts and the insole shapes to your feet after only a few uses. Overall, I tried on a lot of boots and whether you like Burton or not, these boots rock!
