"The Transworld" 10/7/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2000 Transworld Snowboarding Magazine Subscription 1 Year/9 Issues
  • Pros:  Full of stuff,

Experience:   These magazines are full of rider interviews, Awesome pictures, and all kinds of other articles about snowboarding. Also keeps you up to date with the latest gear. You'll get the years gear guide too. And they'll send you a free gift! A little better than Snowboarder Magazine In my opinion. Great bathroom reader.
"Great job" 2/10/2012

  • Name: 2011 Rome S90 Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Quick and easy setup/ adjust, sturdy/durable,
  • Cons:  none,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   First I want to say these match perfectly with the sierra stunt. They set up super easily and adjust like a breeze. Plus they are really customizable. I feel very confident in these, and they are responsive. The straps are great. They snug down tight and comfortably. The straps also unclasp without any effort, they have a tab that sticks out,so you can get at them with bulky gloves.Though they are easy to get off, they've never come undone or loosened. The toe straps are the best, they have like a stretchable rubber thing that stretches of the toe for a perfect secure fit. These also come with a base cover plate to keep the snow from building up in your bindings. Only problem I had was the high back setting would slide out. I had to really tighten down the screw, basically to the point where it couldn't be change, which is fine, but if i ever wanted to change it I would have to unscrew, set, and rescrew it back down. Over all great binding, well worth the money.

  • Name: 2012 DC Super Park Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  light , not bulky,
  • Cons:  pressure points,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These boots fit great. Never had a problem with warmth, even though they are light weight, and pretty thin.(not bulky) I have had a problem with pressure points though. They have great flex with plenty of support. Great boot over all maybe not the best fit for me. Fits about a .5 size smaller than normal.
"Quick and easy " 1/19/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Responsive , Quick and easy to adjust,
  • Cons:  no base cover plate,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are very responsive on my Burton custom. I felt really confident in these. I could quickly and easily turn with lots of power. Also with the over the toe option you get even better handling and response. I had no problems with the straps slipping out, and they always stayed tight. The straps also unstrap easily to get you on the lift faster. I could reach down and unstrap them while riding through the lift line. And like most ratchet they snug down quickly and easily If you have lots of friends who are asking try out your board all the time, you can quickly and easily adjust the straps length by hand to fit there boots. The High backs are easy to set up too. They're only two screws to adjust the angle on these and they are easily accessible, and never have I had the highback latch slip out. Only thing I wish they had a cover plate to put over the binding screws. Without it snow builds up and sometimes it can be hard to scrape out, making it hard to get your boot seated and secure in the binding.

  • Name: 2012 Burton Billboard Slouch Beanie
  • Pros:  one size fits most, comfortable , warm not itchy
  • Fit:  Just right
  • Description:  This beanie stretches to fit everyone comfortably

Experience:   Fits my head great. I wear a 7 3/8 hat. This beanie is very comfortable and never gets itchy like some other hats I have or wool ones. protects your head from cold and wind.

  • Name: 2011 Smith Phenom Snowboard Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  keeps air out, no fog, fits great, comfy ,
  • Cons:  lense will scratch easy be careful,

Experience:   These goggles fit a small to medium sized face. The foam can be a little weird at first but after about a day they mold to your face and become super comfy. So don't worry just yet. also the foam pushes the top of the nostrils closed a little until they get a good form fit of the face. But once they do they keep the air out. No fogging problems. Hey maybe you want a little air, well there is a vent that you can slide open at the top of the goggles. Cool little feature. the peripherals are great(for a small to medium face),They didnt block my vision at all. The head strap may be difficult to get around really big helmets, but if you dont wear one they fit great. also on the strap is a clasp in the back so you have to stretch it down over your head. Just put it on you face and clip in the back.( no more fuckin up your beanie). Also another cool thing, ( not sure if it on all lenses) but for the rc36 lense it has a porex filter that gets water out of goggles.(hence no fog) more aboot it here: http://www.porex.com/technologies/applications/crossflow-filtration/ Great goggles highly recommend

  • Name: 2008 Special Blend Onyd Gift Box 7 3/8 Cap/Keychain/Wallet
  • Pros:  key chain,
  • Cons:  hat is thin and cheap, wallet pockets rip quickly, Price

Experience:   The hat is made out of like paper thin leather. Also the hat just looks awful when your wearing it and it doesn't fit right. The wallet organizer pockets quickly rip after a while of taking your cards in and out of them.
"Gravis Indos" 8/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Gravis Indo Shoes
  • Pros:  Comfortable , Good Quality,

Experience:   I've had these shoes for about a year now and they are a great pair of shoes. They are really comfortable. They have held up great. The tread on the bottom has barely worn down after normal use. I think these shoes run about a size small. After measuring my foot I should wear an 11 but I got a 12 and they are perfect. I would recommend these.
"BackPack?" 5/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Emphasis
  • Pros:  Waterproof, Decent shoulder straps + chest strap,
  • Cons:  bad quality , Not enough pouches or compartments,

Experience:   Bought this bag because it was on sale. Good stuff right, only $19. Well its worth $19. The bag it self is made out of a thin material that is in a lunch box. Ill probably rip a hole in it soon. It has the main big pouch and one small pocket on the front of that, plus the two side pouches and one on the left strap for your phone. Not enough for all my stuff. The big pouch can hold about three folders and two text books. I wouldn't try to put my laptop in it because the slot to put it in is not padded at all. The shoulder straps on it are pretty thick though, and it has a chest strap so your bag doesn't bounce around or come off on the slopes. I think this bag will last the average student a year or less. Not bad for $19 but expected a little more from BURTON.
"Nice pants bro" 10/16/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Special Blend Toofer
  • Pros:  warn and dry , lots of pockets and cuff drawstring, liner pants snow skirts
  • Cons:  Baggy,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  The waist fits normal but the legs are super baggy

Experience:   The pants are great. They keep you warm and dry. I do believe water came through when it was raining though. The linear can be removed for warmer days. They're like a pair of sweat pants (and I use them like sweat pants). They have lots of pockets for as much stuff as you want to carry. The pants are really baggy.(like with the pockets and how baggy these are, you could steal everything on your grocery list no problem) But they do have a drawstring that comes out in the normal front pockets that tightens up the cuff and pulls up the pants so that you're not tripping over the excess. If you like pulling your pants over your boots these make it easier. Oh and they have a snow skirt at the waist and cuff to keep snow out.
"No need to take this JACKET OFF " 10/16/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Planet Earth Chetco Shell Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Lots of pockets , Comfortable materials, made from recycled materials
  • Cons:  velcro cuffs and zipper front thing ,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Athletic Fit

Experience:   I've had this jacket for about two years now, and it still is in like new shape after wearing it most of the time during the cold season. This jacket has always kept me dry even in the rain. Also very warm at 32 degrees with a hoodie. Your gonna need more layers at 0 degrees. The inside is very soft like silk and the material goes all the way up the sleeves for a very comfortable feel. At the waist there is a snow skirt and also in the cuff that goes over the thumb. Both excellent at keeping snow out. Also id like to add that the cuff is straight/open without an elastic fabric cuff thing. This makes it easy to tuck your gloves up under the cuff when taking your gloves on and off. Simply put, great system for keeping snow out of your sleeves and off your wrists. This jacket is loaded with pockets. One for your music device inside. One quick hidden Velcro pocket with goggle cloth included. No glove removal necessary. Your front two normal pockets are soft cloth for casual cold days. Has armpit vents. The only thing I dont like, and this is my personal preference, but it uses Velcro to tighten down the cuffs and secure the flap that covers the zipper in the front. The cuff Velcro is exposed. Even though it is quick it gets fuzzies and shit in there. Id prefer buttons.
"WTF why dont you love me" 2/11/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2012 Union Force Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Responsive ,
  • Cons:  dont fit my boots,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Ive never owned a binding that has given me so much trouble, ive owed five other pairs of bindings and none of them were this bad. I still cant get them to set up perfectly. Idk why but they just wont set up to fit my boots I guess. Ive spent hours adjusting them basically to every position. Its like my boots are to small for this binding even though I wear an 11.5 and the size range is 9.5-14. The toe strap is a pain, to get lined up right. Also the toe straps sticks and its really hard to get them to come undone. Unlike the ankle strap which is like butter. Other than that they are a solid binding. Even though I cant get them set up right I can still tell they are responsive with my board. Prob better if i could make them work. Really disappointed i dropped $200 on something that wont work for me.

  • Pros:  Comfy, High quality, Fits great
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  fitted

Experience:   Planet earth makes some high quality products. I know its just a shirt, but its a well made shirt. You can just tell by looking at the stitching and the materials. It fits your body like a glove, and its made from 100% organic cotton, so soft, which is heavenly. You wont be disappointed with this shirt, or any clothes made by Planet Earth!
"The biggest beanie" 11/14/2011

  • Name: 2008 Burton Cableshaver Beanie
  • Pros:  Warm,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Great

Experience:   This beanie is huge, there is only one way you can wear it, Slouch mode. If you have a lot of hair, you can easily tuck all your hair up in this beanie. The beanie itself is a super thick knitting, that will defiantly keep your whole head warm and comfy. It stretches to fit your head size starts kinda small, but its all good. Don't let your friends wear it because they'll stretch it out, and then you wont get that form fit.
"Glove" 11/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Pipe Snowboard Gloves Women's
  • Pros:  Tight form fit,
  • Cons:  Not Warm,

Experience:   These gloves Fit great to your hands, but the sizes are a little small compared to the size chart, so I recommend getting one size up. They are not warm at all, your hands will get cold. More for warmer weather. The gloves have this grip coating on the inside of the fingers and palm which is great, but if your board is icy, like it usually gets, the grips become slippery when you do grabs(kind useless. But its better than not having it.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Gravis Royale Leather
  • Pros:  Comfy,
  • Cons:  Scuff easily ,

Experience:   These shoes are really comfy. The only thing bad about them is that since the outside is made of leather, they get scuffed quickly. I scuffed mine up in one week. These shoes aren't really for casual use, they are sidewalk shoes(meaning you take the long way around) If you don't plan to take really good care of them, then the will get ruined quick.
"be ight" 10/25/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Etnies RVL Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  thick tongue ,
  • Cons:  comfort, get dirty easy,

Experience:   These shoes are a little stiff at first and have some pressure points, but once they get broken in they get better. But not the most comfortable shoe ever. The soles on the inside aren't super comfy either. Its just flat and hard.(like standing strait on the floor. If you had to stand up in these all day your feet would be killing you. The white band around the bottom(whatever you call it) gets super dirty and fast. The tongue is really thick and I mean really thick, so if you skate your not gonna have a problem there. Another thing you get rasta colored shoe strings with these also which look better than the white. (impo) I feel like these shoes run a tad large too, like a half size.
"Tune kit" 10/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Dakine Deluxe Tune Kit
  • Pros:  Got everything you need,
  • Cons:  Price, Wire brush to small,

Experience:   This is defiantly not worth the money. You might as well buy each thing separately eliminating the crap in it you don't need like a Scotch Brite pad, that you could get a three pack of at the dollar store or the useless wire brush that is just way to small to do anything with. You would be saving money just to build the kit yourself. But if you don't mind dishing out the cash, then yeah, its got everything you need and will make a great kit. The case itself has plenty of pockets to put more stuff in too.

"Lock it Up" 9/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Micro Lock
  • Pros:  Easy to use,
  • Cons:  May break easy,

Experience:   This is a very easy lock to use. And its about the size of a tamagotchi(wtf is a tamagotchi?)lol Any way you can easily slip it in your pocket. My only concern is how strong it really is. The wire is like a 1/16 inch think so could easily be cut with snips. The body of the lock is all plastic, so it may be easy to break(Im not breaking mine to find out. But its better than no lock. At least a robber might pass over your board just because of that lock. Id recommend that everyone has one of these or something better. For $11 vs how much you put into your set up, it is worth it 100%.

  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  I would say it runs a size small and it shrinks in the wash a little

Experience:   Great shirt with cool graphics. I got a large but it fits like a medium, which is great cause that fits perfect. Also will shrink in the wash and even more if you use a dryer.
"Nice Hat there Buddy" 9/15/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Stitch BFit Hat
  • Pros:  Great fit, looks great, good quality
  • Fit:  Just right
  • Description:  This hat fits like a New Era hat. Perfect

Experience:   I really like this hat, i think it looks awesome. It fits true to size. Also you cant really see from the picture, you can kinda see it on the red one, but there are a bunch of Burton logo stitchings in the front. Adds more character and looks cool. There is also a Burton symbol on the back where a MLB logo would go. Good quality feels like a New Era hat.
"Burton Bag" 8/31/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Emphasis Pack
  • Pros:  looks aweome, water proof, price
  • Cons:  black color fades, thin material, No padding in laptop compartment

Experience:   After a year with this I say over all this is a decent bag. My main concern is its not that durable. Its made out of a pretty thin material. It would be easy to rip a whole in it it you caught like a branch or gagged piece of metal. On the inside everything is lined with thin white plastic like you would find in a lunch box. After being in the sun for a while it begins to crack and flake off, so your loosing the water proofing. Also If you leave it in the sun the black color begins to turn brown. But both off these took a couple of months in the sun to do. The laptop compartment in it is just a joke. It provides no protection what so ever. Its just a flap to hold, kinda like the pockets on the back of seats in cars, but made of thin plastic. But over all this bag has held up for me over a year, and I think it looks awesome.
"Sick beginner Board " 3/26/2011

  • Name: 2010 Burton Deuce Wide Snowboard 153 Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Off Trail,Park,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Great biggener to intermediate board, Price, graphics
  • Cons:  powder riding, not the fastest,

Experience:   This is a great board for beginner to intermediate riders. Its a pretty stiff board so its very forgiving. I'm learning to ride switch myself, so the twin shape is a great benefit. Also this board has been put through a machine to break it in so its like its been ridin for years for a great feel. Not sure if all burton boards are like this or not? Plus it was a good wood board for this year. I loved the detailed graphics on this board and it was one of the main reasons i bought it. After a whole season of riding it still looks pretty new. And the trusnow price is unbeatable. If your just getting in to snowboarding then you wont be disappointed with this board. Didnt feel like it floated that well in powder though and its not the fastest but still pretty fast when waxed, but its not for racing.
"Nasty shoes" 8/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Gravis Fulton Exp
  • Pros:  Looks , feel , ankle cuff

Experience:   These shoes are awesome. I bought them because they caught my eye on the website. Then when I got them and they look even better. Ive gotten so many compliments on how cool they look. They fit true to your foot and are really Comfortable. This shoe does have a little lining in them to keep your feet warm but not to much that you cant wear them during the summer. The ankle cuff in these are new to me but I bet they really help keep your feet warm. I tuck my shoe laces in when I wear them, and the cuff keeps my heel seated in the in the sole, so you don't get that flip flop feeling when your walking. The only problem I had with these is after 2 weeks, the tread, starting at the toe, began to come off. gotta get some shoe glue to fix that. Other than that this shoe is awesome and has a great style. You cant go wrong with these.
"Quattros" 4/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Flow Quattro
  • Pros:  Cheap buy, Easier to adjust than other flows, Much faster than other bindings
  • Cons:  Doesnt come with disc cover to keep snow out., Discs dont line up with some boards, takes time to adjust and feel good in them.
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I wanted to try out the flow bindings so I bought the quattros for $95. A really good buy. I planned to put them onto my Burton board but the discs don't line up all the way with 3x3 inserts, I could only tighten down 3 of 4 screws. These caused me to have limited stance options. It also doesn't come with caps to keep snow out of the disc like the more expensive flows have, which is going to be annoying to have to clean out next winter. But other than that its a good binding for the price, especially if your just starting to ride or try out flows. You wont have a problem in the park or carving down the mountain. They look really good too, but paint wont last with high backs down.

Experience:   This is a good deal for ten bucks. Hat fits good, but a leather hat? Not as good as a regular new era hat. Wallet is O.k., a little big, I wouldnt buy it by itself. Key chain is nice if you need a key chain. All in All good deal for ten bucks.
