"Cool deck" 12/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 K2 Fastplant Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  Very Soft, Stable, Catch Free Jibs

Experience:   I just demo'd this board with the k2 hurrithane's and i must say that was a very fun board to ride, in the park it handled very well due to the softness of the deck, but also on the regular groomers it was very stable at high speeds, which is very hard to come by in a park oriented board.
"Not Too Bad" 12/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Low Speeds,Park
  • Pros:  Good Flex, Catch Free, Rocker
  • Cons:  Unstable, Terrible in pow,

Experience:   Ive always heard great things about Bananas, however, when i demo'd this board, i was very disapointed. in the park the board was nothing special, my DC PBJ is way softer. On groomers at low speeds it was pretty good but once you reached a high speed, it gives you a sppedwobble feeling. But this board by far handled the worst in powder out of any board i have ever riden in pow.
