"Burton Luxury Midweight One Piece Womens Thermal" 9/19/2008
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Luxury Midweight One Piece Womens Thermal
  • Pros:  One-Piece Thermal!!!! Need i say more?? Its got everything from a cute button up front to a back butt flap, which you know will come in handy sooner than later. Perfect for those wintery nights in when you just want to cozy up to a fire and a cup of hot chocolate.. mmmm!
  • Cons:  It'd be pretty sweet if it had feeties, but what can you do.

Experience:   Super comfortable material, and a nice snug but not too tight fit. Great pair of pj's!
"Burton Society Womens Pants" 9/2/2008
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Society Womens
  • Pros:  Breathable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, LEG: Relaxed, WAIST: Feels true to size, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   I really enjoyed the comfortability of these pants and especially the feel of the outside of them. They have a unique fabric that almost looks like velvet but isn't and feels really soft and comfy. These pants have minimal ratings when it comes to waterproofing and breathability, but will do just fine on cloudy or sunny days as long as you're not going to be trekking in the powder. The picture shown above is a size small that I am wearing and I prefer my pants to be just a little longer so if that's the case for you I'd go one size up. But otherwise the Society pant is comfortable and provides good mobility when you're bustin' out your tricks.
"Burton Commuter Womens Jacket" 9/2/2008
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Commuter Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof
  • Cons:  Not Enough Pockets or Features
  • Description:  CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   I have tried the Commuter jacket on many times and I have to agree that it is a great lightweight, cute jacket for warmer spring days. It still comes with enough waterproofing to walk around in the rain and to prevent from getting too wet in the snow, but wouldn't be the best idea on a stormy day. You also couldn't layer up too much underneath it, just maybe a thermal and a shirt would work to keep you warm enough. I think it has a cute look to it with a fulltime hood that you wouldn't want to get too wet either. As far as sizing, it fits pretty true to size, in the picture it shows I am wearing a small and that is what I'd normally wear. It fit well except for it was a little short. Overall, its the perfect springtime jacket!
"Burton Polka Square women's Tee" 12/22/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Polka Square Short Sleeve Womens
  • Pros:  Long body length! Cute design.

"Burton Outlast Midweight Thermal Crew" 12/22/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Outlast Midweight Womens Thermal Crew
  • Pros:  Good length in body and arms so that you don't have to worry about snow trying to get in there. Lightweight enough to act as your bottom layer and then to add a couple more if needed.

Experience:   Cute design on the front so you don't have to worry about sporting your thermals around town after a long day of riding. The Outlast thermal is warm and will keep you feeling dry and comfortable all day long.
"Roxy Cameo Women's One piece!" 12/22/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Roxy Cameo Womens
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   One piece! Need I say more? Every girl should experience a one piece snow out fit in her life. You don't have to worry about any snow getting in anywhere and it usually fits pretty baggy so you're going to have that extra room to layer up underneath. The only downside to this is that it's minimal waterproofing so I wouldn't suggest it in stormy weather, but it would work great for a colder day or spring day out on the slopes. Fits very comfortably as well and looks cute on!

Experience:   The Sessions Infinity Jacket is cute and keeps you protected! It has ample waterproofing and breathability so that you can sport it in all conditions. Plus the length is nice and long in the body and the arms so that you don't have to worry about getting snow in anywhere. The peacoat style is great for keeping snow out of the front of the jacket and the material will keep you warm and feeling bundled up all day long while you're still staying comfortable.

  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels too short, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   The Sessions Zone jacket has good insulation and will keep you warm and dry all day long. It definitely has enough room to layer up underneath but it comes up a little bit short so I would suggest getting longer layers to go underneath so that you don't get snow up your jacket. It would also make a nice warm jacket to wear out and about in colder weather.

Experience:   The March Jacket is an awesome comfortable jacket that gives you great mobility and keeps you warm and dry. I would normally wear a small in jackets, but for this one I went with a medium because I like my jackets to be a little longer in the body length. Plenty of room to layer up underneath and I love the denim look!
"Pro-Tec Hip Pads Womens" 9/19/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Pro-Tec Hip Pads Womens
  • Pros:  Not as bulky as they look and you won't have any more sore butts or hips if you slide off the boxes a little too early or if it's a really icy day out. Fits nicely under your pants.

  • Cons:  A little snug around the calf, so maybe go up a size just to be on the safe side.

Experience:   Super duper comfy! Wear them for warmth on a rainy day inside the house or on a snowy one out on the slopes.

The details all over it from the buttons to the suspenders and even the inside of the zipper give these pants total personality. They fit super relaxed and comfy so that you have enough room for mobility and layering up in them. I normally wear a size S but I would go one size up to a M to be safe, because when it comes to my pants I like them a little longer and baggier.

They are extremely comfortable and they are the best I've seen in providing outstanding protection. They come with top ratings on waterproofing and breathability and the zip in and out liner pant is the best when it's really cold on the mountain. As well as i can just take them out and they still work out great for the warmer spring days. In the picture above I am wearing a small and it fits pretty snug, but comes up a little short so I bought a medium and it's got great length that I like and fits a little more baggy for extra mobility. I highly suggest these snow pants if you want the whole package.

It comes with Gore-tex which is the best of the best in waterproofing and breathability and is still lightweight enough to allow you to layer up and keep really warm. Its super mobile and leaves you with no restrictions on movement and comfort. It provided enough length just in case I landed on my butt, I wouldn't have to worry about too much snow getting in there, and the sleeves were nice and long as well. Experience:   The Avenue Print jacket for women is a nice jacket that provides you with average protection through waterproofing and breathability and is durable enough to keep you warm with its comfortable fleece lining. It won't hurt if you add a few layers underneath it as well to add extra warmth or to just sport the jacket and a light layer on those sunny days. "Burton Sanctuary Softshell Womens Jacket" 9/2/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Sanctuary Softshell Womens

  • Cons:  Not Enough Pockets or Features
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   If you plan on layering up under the Sanctuary softshell you're good to go for a decently cold day. Otherwise not the best choice for stormier and colder days, because it is a softshell and is much lighter which is better for the warmer spring days. It does still have a great waterproofing and breathability rating so its gonna keep you dry and comfortable while at the same time you won't be big and bulky. The design is definitely different and unique but it matches with a good amount of things to make a nice setup. I felt like the space inside the jacket was big enough to layer underneath and it was long enough in both the sleeves and the body. It was pretty true to fit.
"Orage Fusion Womens Jacket" 9/2/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Orage Fusion Womens
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, Snow and Rain Mixed, Sleet, Storming and White Out, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels too short, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   This jacket is fully loaded and ready to get on the hill for your enjoyment. It comes packed with the right waterproofing and breathability that is going to protect you in any weather condition. It's the closest thing to Gore-tex pretty much and has great features like hand and waist gaitors that are going to keep the snow out and keep you warm. I felt like this jacket was still very comfortable and allowed me to move around enough, yet the small was a little short for my usual preference. If you're going to be skiing though, you probably won't be on your butt as much and the small would work great if that is your normal sizing. It also comes with several extra features that will serve to your needs on and off the hill for the day. The Fusion is a great choice.
"Special Blend Siryn Print jacket Womens Jacket" 9/2/2008

  • Name: 2008 Special Blend Siryn Print jacket Womens
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   I love the Special Blend Siryn women's jacket for multiple reasons. It is a great all around jacket, because even though it is not too heavy duty and does not come with an extra layer on the inside, it is perfect for layering up your own layers to make it thicker and warmer on the chillier days. It is still pretty lightweight so its nice even on the spring days with only a light layer or two underneath. I felt like it was super comfortable and very mobile. I didn't feel restricted at all in my movement and I loved the length on both the body and sleeves. The designs are fun and unique and it comes with a few enjoyable features as well.

  • Name: 2009 686 Smarty Admiral Womens
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, Snow and Rain Mixed, Sleet, Storming and White Out, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   The admiral jacket by 686 is a good jacket for many reasons. It has great waterproofing and breathability ratings and will withstand harsh weather conditions. It will also provide you with enough warmth to keep you feeling toasty even on the stormy days. I really like the double layer zip in/out midlayer jacket that it comes with so that I can add it to the jacket if I start to feel a little chilly or take it out if it gets too warm. Even being the heavy duty and durable jacket that it is, I thought that it was still comfortable enough to move around in and it didn't feel too tight anywhere. It also had a good long length that I usually prefer, especially when riding in powder. The only thing that I wasn't too much of a fan of was the buckle up design on the front of the jacket, because I don't have too much patience when it comes to getting buttoned up and it did take a little extra time to get it all set and good to go. Other than that I think it's a very good jacket to choose.

  • Description:  WEATHER: Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, Snow and Rain Mixed, Sleet, Storming and White Out, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels too short, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   North Face hit the spot with the women's Boundary Triclimate jacket. It is a great decision when you're buying something that you want to be well-rounded and provide you with ample protection and comfort. I really liked how cozy this jacket feels and the doubled up liner inside is really soft and comfortable. It serves as the perfect midlayer to add extra warmth on the colder days and if needed to remove and take away some of the heat on the sunnier days. I felt like the space inside allowed great mobility and gave me the opportunity to really layer up if needed. The length was also good for the sleeves but a little short for the body, just in case of the situation that you might get a little snow up there if you do happen to fall. Overall this jacket is a wonderful choice though.

  • Description:  WEATHER: Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, Snow and Rain Mixed, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   The Burton Dream jacket is an awesome choice when you're wanting to be warm and protected on the mountain from harsh weather conditions. I felt like the jacket had enough room to add layers underneath if needed for extra warmth and still had plenty of breathability with the pit zips just in case it got a little too hot. Not the best choice for warmer spring days, becuase it is a little heavier, but at the same time it isn't too constricting as far as mobility goes. I liked the fun and unique design and colors Burton chose for this jacket and it comes with some extra features that really spice it up as well. I know that I like my jacket to fit a little bigger as far as length and room and being that I tried on a small as shown in the picture above, the jacket provided the perfect amount of space and length.

Experience:   The Orage Mantra jacket for women is an excellent choice when you want something for all around weather that is comfortable and cute. It has a slender and complementing fit that is a great length if you're going to be skiing or boarding. The wrist gaitors are a great idea to keep to warmth in and the snow out. It also comes with excellent waterproofing and breathability so you can sport it in harsh or calm weather. Either way you can be assured that it will give you ample protection.

  • Name: 2008 686 Bella Womens

  • Cons:  Inadequate Protection, Not Enough Pockets or Features
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Cloudy and Cold, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels too short,

Experience:   The Bella women's jacket by 686 is a cute and simple jacket that will keep you warm and comfy on the mountain. It only comes with average waterproofing and breathability so it is not suggested for the stormier days, but it has a down feel to it so if you layer up a little bit underneath it will keep you warm for sure. It is also lightweight so you can still feel mobile and unrestricted when you're moving down the hill. I felt like the length on the body was true to size yet the sleeves were a tiny bit small for my liking and being 5'6" I wore a size small as shown in the picture above.

  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, Snow and Rain Mixed, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels too short, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   A cute idea for a lighter weight spring jacket that will provide enough warmth and waterproofing for the clearer days. It comes with a detachable hood to work for any mood you're in for the day and a few storage pockets. It is really comfortable on and I felt like I could fit a couple light layers underneath at the most to give it a little more warmth. The length comes up a little short and it also features the ribbed cotton cuffs and waistband so beware of falling in the snow too much or you'll get a little bit of build up.
"Burton Liftliner Womens Jacket" 9/2/2008

  • Name: 2008 Burton Liftliner Womens
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Waterproof
  • Cons:  Inadequate Protection, Not Enough Pockets or Features
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels too short, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   This jacket is very simple and straigh to the point. Its great for really warm spring days to put maybe one or two layers underneath and to provide minimal protection. Not too much included as far as waterproofing or breathability, but might even be good to act as a midlayer underneath a more heavy duty jacket. It fit pretty true to size on me as far as wearing a small shown in the picture above, but the length was a little short if I were going to be wearing it in powder. Very thin and lightweight when you're getting too hot out on the slopes.
"Burton Avenue Womens Jacket" 9/2/2008

  • Name: 2008 Burton Avenue Womens
  • Pros:  Breathable, Warm, Waterproof
  • Cons:  Not Enough Pockets or Features
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, CHEST: Feels too small, BODY: Feels too short, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   I only have experience with the Avenue by trying it on a few times and checking it out, but its a great jacket for spring days or to add multiple layers underneath to make it warmer. It is not too heavy duty and comes with average waterproofing and breathability ratings, but it will still get the job done unless you have powder up to your waist. It has a few storage pockets, but otherwise is pretty simple when it comes to design and color. Great to match up with colorful pants and setups. When it comes to the sizes, I would suggest to go up a size because in the picture shown above I am wearing a small which is my normal size but I thought the length and the fit was a little too small, especially if Im planning on layering up to get warm.

  • Name: 2008 Burton 2/1 System Womens
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Cloudy and Cold, CHEST: Feels too big, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels too long,

Experience:   The 2/1 System Women's jacket is another great double layered jacket that comes in handy during those colder days and makes it easy to find a nice comfortable temperature for yourself. It comes with a nice array of storage pockets and has plenty of waterproofing and breathabililty, but is still not too heavy to prevent mobility. This jacket has a simple look to it that still offers to opportunity to match up with a lot of great setups. I normally wear a small in jackets, which is what I tried on here and the length was great all the way around. The fit was definitely true to size and I liked how it wasnt too tight so that it made it hard to layer up underneath.

  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Snow and Rain Mixed, Sleet, Storming and White Out, CHEST: Feels too big, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels too short,

Experience:   The Burton City System Jacket for women is a great choice when you're looking for something durable and warm when its getting really chilly out on the slopes. It has a zip in double layer jacket that you can take it and out so you can increase or decrease warmth to your liking. Its heavy duty so don't expect a lightweight flabby jacket. A lot of women like this jacket because its simple yet technical and goes great with a lot of things to make your perfect setup. It has ample storage pockets and great waterproofing to withstand even the roughest days in the snow. I have only tried this jacket on and checked it out, but I would suggest it to be the perfect jacket for the colder part of the season.
"686 ACC Caliber Womens Jacket" 9/2/2008

  • Name: 2009 686 ACC Caliber Womens
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
  • Description:  WEATHER: Cloudy and Cold, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels true to length,

Experience:   I have personally worn the 686 Women's Caliber jacket and checked out the ins and outs of it. I definitely think it is a very comfortable and mobile jacket that you can either layer up under to make it warmer or to just wear with one layer and rock on a warm spring day. I usually wear a small to medium in jackets, and the one i tried on was a small. It fit pretty true as far as chest and being able to layer up underneath, but it was a little short so I figured I might get a medium just because I like it to be a little longer. One thing I'd like to mention is that this jacket has cotton cuffs and a cotton waistband and if you're thinking you might be on your butt a lot or in the deep powder, the ice may build up a little and stick to it. Other than that I think it's a great overall jacket for the new season with good waterproofing and a stylish look that women will love!
