"Sessions Infantry" 3/12/2011
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Sessions Infantry Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Cheap, Rugged,
  • Cons:  Pockets rip,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Perfect

Experience:   Can't beat these for the price. I've used them in -15 with only some long underwear and my legs were toasty. Also have used them in +50 degrees and kept me pretty cool with the large crotch vents. They feel more waterproof than they are rated at, used them during a rain storm in big bear and I don't remember having wet nuts. The only beef I have with them is that the pocket seams rip pretty easily. Buy these pants and learn how to sew and you'll be good.
"Sierra Eff-ing Stunt!" 3/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Stunt Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  Crazy Flex, Fast turns, CHEAP
  • Cons:  Squirrely at Speed, Top Sheet cracks, Sinks in powder

Experience:   Stats 5'11 185 Lbs Board 155 cm Thought I'd throw that in first since I looked through all these reviews several times before deciding on that length. Anyways, I'm absolutely in love with this board. My other ride feels like a 2X4 compared to this. With this stick, my turns are sharp and I can finally butter without my quads giving out from muscle failure. Took it to Mt. High this weekend and hit about every terrain feature they had. It's almost impossible to catch an edge and difficulty with switch riding is now a thing of the past. At first I overcompensated because I was used to my old board catching an edge on everything like it was a fishhook in velcro. This board will not cut into the snow unless you want it to. Your experience level will feel like it jumped two years into the future on your first run, and I'm nowhere close to joking on that. Drawbacks: Took it through some powder, and instead of floating, in just sank into it. I'm riding a freestyle board that is probably too small for me, so I didn't expect it to do much. The topsheet had a few nicks from God knows what, but my Jeep is all screwed up too and I take pride in that fact. Own up to it and call them battle scars pretty boy! Also, it's a park board, so don't go fast. It starts jumping around, but just a little bit. It really didn't do this as much as I was expecting, so yeah, it'll hold up very well in the descent into the park. Seriously, grab this board. The price is right, and it holds up in the land of jibs, jumps and rails. If you want to freeride, go hang out with skiers.

Status update on the Stunt: IT CAN DEFINITELY BE USED AS AN ALL-MOUNTAIN BOARD! Just got back from Mammoth. I hit up the double blacks at the top of the gondola on the Stunt, and even with 65mph winds and low visibility, I was able to carve down the the base in under 5 minutes. Gotta go ridiculously fast to do that, and I have to give props because not once did the Stunt feel too wobbly or out of control. Yes it excels in the park, and of course there are better boards out there for the aforementioned trail. I'm pretty sure it helped just because it was so easy and much quicker to move from edge to edge. If you are more park focused, but still like to free ride, the Stunt is seriously the way to go.

"Oakley" 2/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Oakley E Frame Goggles
  • Pros:  Great Style, Bullet Proof,
  • Cons:  Fog Prone,

Experience:   Had a pair of these for a while until I lost them. They had great peripherals and didn't pinch my nose. Love the rubber on the back of the strap which keep them from falling off as easily. They do fog a good amount though. Got some Dragon DX with the dual lens after I lost these and now I don't have that problem
"Space Bag" 2/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Space Sack Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Lots of Room, Tough,
  • Cons:  Short Zipper,

Experience:   Got this bag for Christmas to replace my mid-90s piece of junk. I love it, it has plenty of room for absolutely all of my gear. The only beef I have with it is that the zipper doesn't go all the way down, so its a little harder to pack my stuff. Other than that, it kicks ass.
"Dragon DX" 2/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Dragon DX Snowboard Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Killer Style, No Fog, Great Shade
  • Cons:  Pinches My Nose a Bit,

Experience:   I got these in the gray camo and they are the best goggles I've ever owned. The peripherals are great, but they squeeze down on my nostrils a little bit, nothing major though. They come with the dual lens, so they are pretty much impossible to fog up.
"Grenade!" 2/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Grenade Under Cover Snowboard Jacket Women's
  • Pros:  Cool Style, Good Waterproofing,
  • Cons:  None,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  A little baggy, perfect

Experience:   Got my girlfriend this jacket and she loves it. The fit is loose and the style is, well its Grenade, what more do you need?
"Grenade Corps" 1/7/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Grenade Army Corps Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Huge, Killer style, Comfy
  • Cons:  Huge,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Nice and big

Experience:   Got the 2010 version of this jacket for Jesus-mas and love it. It's massive so I finally don't have snow going up my arms and freezing my sweater cuffs, hell it covers my gloves. The powder skirt kicks and its way more waterproof than my old jacket, so you'll stay dry, wish I had it in Big bear during that shitty rain storm.
"Not for ghetto booties" 12/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Special Blend Scarlet Le Snowboard Pants
  • Pros:  Warm, Cheap,
  • Cons:  Little tight for the curvy gals,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Little tight around the butt

Experience:   I got my GF these pants. She's got an amazing butt, the only problem is, is that most pants are too tight around that area because they're made for Skeletor or something, these being included. She ripped a hole in the crotch the second day of use. Luckily I can sew and used some spiderwire, so that ain't gonna happen again. Other than that, they keep her warm and look pretty sweet. Bag these if you don't have an ass.
"My GFs favorite" 12/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Dutchess Womens
  • Pros:  Good Style, Cheap, Jacket to pant interface
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Perfect

Experience:   My girlfriend bagged this jacket for cheap and just started using it this season. She loves it, and it looks pretty bitchin. It has buttons to snap onto the belt loops of your pants if you don't have Burtons, and a zipper that will zip them together if you do. Being a chick, she has a bunch of jackets already, but this is her go to. It also kept her warm at A Basin when it was below zero and everything else on her froze.
"Burton Custom" 12/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Custom
  • Pros:  Good flex, Cheap,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Used these all last season and a been jamming on em this one. For the price, I really don't see any cons. The flex is soft enough for the park, but stiff enough for speeding down the mountain. Your board should be more of a priority to spend your change on anyways, in my experience the bindings don't matter all that much. Burton gear doesn't break, so snatch these and spend more money on your ride.
"Bitchin bag" 8/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Treble Yell
  • Pros:  Cheap, Lightweight, Cool graphics
  • Cons:  Not big,

Experience:   Can't beat the price for this thing. It's water resistant, has room for a few packables and straps. These straps are for a skate board though, so don't try to pack your snowboard on the back. Like the title says though, bitchin bag and some cool graphics
"Good and cheap" 8/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Citizen Womens
  • Pros:  They work, Cheap, Stable
  • Cons:  Not very rugged,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I picked these up for my girlfriend and she was favorably impressed. These were definitely a step up from her old bindings, and although they aren't on the same level as a pair of Cartels, hell, they work and they didn't cost all that much. I can see them snapping if they get too cold or if a huge jump gets biffed, but for her, they work perfect.
"Pretty warm" 5/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Lux Midweight Thermal Crew Top Women's
  • Pros:  Heavy duty, Warm, Dries quick
  • Cons:  Soaks up the snow,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Perfect

Experience:   Bought this for my girl and I'm pretty sure she loves it. The material is heavy, but warm and soft. It soaks up the snow when she straps in on those days when a jacket is too much, but dries pretty quick.
