"Wow, what a ride!" 11/23/2010

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Reverse Crew Snowboard
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,Off Trail,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  High Quality for a Great Price, Stable Edge to Edge Feel, Great Look and Graphics

Experience:   I bought my 162 Reverse Crew at the end of last season, and got my first chance to ride it this past weekend. At the end of my first run, I said Wow!. I'm a pretty aggressive rider, and what I noticed was how well it transitioned from powder to choppy/bumpy terrain to flats with ease. The board had a super stable edge to edge feel and held really well through the carve, even when I was carving through/over bumps. If I was to choose a single All Mountain, every-day ride board, this would be the one. I also ride a 158 Burton Hero and a 164 Burton Custom X, each with very specific strengths and uses, neither I would say are great for every-day like the Reverse Crew. I am very impressed with the quality of the Sierra product and considering the price, it's very hard to beat. This was my first Sierra board. P.S. I ride the 162cm with Burton Cartel L bindings & size 11 boots. No problems with toe drag.

  • Name: 2010 Burton Tech Tall Tee Warehouse
  • Pros:  Cool colour,
  • Cons:  Way too long,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XXL
  • Description:  Way too long, fits like a dress

Experience:   Like the shirt, like the style, but man is it ever long. It's so long, it's just above my knees. I might suggest a size or two smaller for reasonable length.

  • Name: 2009 Analog Helmut Fitted S/S TShirt
  • Pros:  Cool graphics,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Fitted

Experience:   It's like driving around with that Grass Skirt Doll bopping on your dash. What can I say, it's a t-shirt.
"Finally... She Can Keep Up!" 5/2/2010

  • Name: 2010 Burton Feelgood ES Womens
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Carving,Chop,Crud,Groomers,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Powder
  • Pros:  Fast base, Great edge to edge response, Stability at high speeds
  • Cons:  Scratches really show on top sheet,

Experience:   My friend just bought this board and finally she can somwhat keep up to me and my Custon X. Versus her old board, the distinctions are definitely anything to do with control and stability at high speeds. Powder, bumps, choppy terrain, and the morning spring time icy slopes, all were conquered on this beast. I would recommend this board for the somewhat aggressive rider who likes speed and the ability to pound through anything. Be careful though, this board will ride you if you aren't aware of its tendency to want to go. After a little experience with this board, you will absolutely love it.
"Great Jacket" 4/11/2010

  • Name: 2008 Analog Auger
  • Pros:  Great lining, Sharp looking,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Great to wear with t-shirt or sweater

Experience:   Great jacket, looks sharp with jeans and casual wear. The lining is nice and loud, but not overwhelming.

  • Name: 2009 Burton Treble Yell
  • Pros:  Weatherproof, Lots of pockets and straps, Very comfortable

Experience:   Great backpack. It has a pocket and a strap for anything and all of my stuff stayed dry no matter what hit the outside. It's very comfortable to wear while riding.
"A Laugher!" 4/10/2010

  • Name: 2010 Analog Altar Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Hilarious to wear, Warm, keeps out snow and wind, Great pockets, and removable arms
  • Cons:  Kids are sometimes scared of you,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Great fit, still allows for a hoody underneath

Experience:   This jacket is a blast. Only problem was the other guy wearing the same jacket riding the same runs as me the first morning I wore it. Are you kidding me? Never seen it before and there it was (at least his was blue, I have the grey). We did share a laugh though (as if we were from the same biker gang). Best part of this jacket is that it is exactly the same quality as my other plain black Analog jacket. We got pounded with snow and wind and this jacket performed extremely well. If you are looking for a jacket, don't think this one performs any less because of the look or the removable sleeves, it doesn't.
"Great for Play Time" 4/10/2010

  • Name: 2010 Burton The Hero Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jumps,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Fun for playing around with kids, Good in powder, Spins, ollies, jumps
  • Cons:  Choppy at high speeds,

Experience:   I use my Hero 158 for playing around on days when I am out with my little 5 year old (I ride Custom X 164 when I can go fast on my own). This board is super-fun to spin around, ride in and out of switch, pop in and out of the trees, and jump. I also had it out in 30cm of fresh powder yesterday and it handled great. It's definitely a great board for most riders at any level looking for a soft, playful toy. To be honest, after riding the Custom X through choppy terrain at high speeds, this board does not compare for control. But... as I have said, my purpose for this board is playing around with the little guy (I call it my Fun Board with him - he has a Burton Chopper). I have paired the board with my Cartel EST bindings from my Custom X, and all is just fine there (love the channel system). If I was a Park guy I might look at more fit-for-purpose bindings, but I'm not. For a couple hundred bucks, this board was a steal!
