"100% backing this product" 2/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 DC Phase Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Perfect fit, Slight Flexibility, Compliments Burton Bindings
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  13/14
  • Boot Size:  13

Experience:   My friend referred me to this boot and I was a little skeptical about owning my first DC product for snowboarding. However after a few runs I am MORE then impressed. I was nervous that the boots wouldn't fit well with my Burton Freestyle Bindings ('10 AND '11... tried both) However it fit like a glove, better then my previous boot in all honesty. Knowing how great this boot is now I would gladly pay $150 for it. Looks durable, extremely easy to navigate/grip/etc. Every aspect you look for in a boot this excels in. Unless this boot somehow ignites or explodes on my feet I will keep using DC boots. (Yes I know my feet would explode and I wouldn't be able to ride regardless.... You get the point tho hah). I'm just your average rider, like most of you shoppers out there, but I back this product 100%!

  • Name: 2011 Burton Freestyle Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Cheap, Flexible,
  • Cons:  non-durable,

Experience:   I rode these bindings for just a few months then ended up selling them to a friend. However before buying these I saw the many reviews on how they were falling apart with the foam, etc. etc., My father rode long long ago and he said he'd have many ideas on how to get the foam to stay and how to make any cheap model slowly function like an efficient higher end model. This may sound stupid... But LIGHTLY coating your foam in a wd 40 like substance will substantially reduce friction so your boot won't tear it up. However you will need to pay attention and not nonchalantly put your foot in the board because you may slip out. Once strapped in you will notice zero difference. If the foam still begins to tear poke holes with a sewing needle in a few placed areas around the stressed foam. This will alleviate the stress and displace it elsewhere. I did this for my friend and he says the bindings are still working perfectly to this day and nothing has seemed to tear. (poking holes will not make your binding foam invincible it will just slow down the inevitable ripping by a significant amount)

pretty good bindings for beginner.. i currently use the older version and my only complaint is that the straps arent big enough to wrap around my toes so i have to do the traditional strap in

TheRuckusMovement
yeah agreed. I have last years model too haha. Addicted to the freestyles'... I got a size 13 boot and the strap barely fit around, came undone a few times which was annoying. Don't find that a problem with this version tho!! I promise

  • Name: 2007 Special Blend Stacked Wdmark 12Pk
  • Pros:  Reliable stick, Looks great, Keeps color ( no sun distortion)

Experience:   Like I said in my Pros. These stickers are very reliable. special blend does it right.. So far for the past few months i've had my car parked in the blistering heat and bright sun and the bumper sticker still held its true color, which I have had problems with. Gloss withering, color distorting, etc... This obviously means it will do even better on a board. Highly recommend
"More work then help" 12/28/2010

  • Name: 2011 Burton Zip Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  does job,
  • Cons:  frustrating, hard to grip,

Experience:   Yes the tools work, yes they all fit in their specified places but this set is more work then help. Yeah it gets the job done but these are so hard to grip and if its cold out even harder, if you have a tight screw you're in deep trouble I highly doubt your going to be able to loosen it. I ended up getting so angry with them I gave it to the first little guy coming down the hill, ended up making him so happy. First time these tools actually satisfied me. Just because they're burton doesn't mean they're high end. Wouldn't recommend them, go with any with grips
