"Nice Step Up" 11/8/2011

  • Name: 2011 Ride Revolt Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Metal Construction, Angeled footbed,
  • Cons:  webbing on the front toe breaks,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Bought these to replace a broken pair of some Rome bindings. The metal construction makes these way sturdier than the regular plastic bindings, which makes a big difference when hitting the park IMO. I bought these for $225, because it was at mammoth and not online, but I am satisfied. These have a much better energy transfer than the normal flat footed bindings, and the response is much crisper.

  • Name: 2011 Ride DH Snowboard
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Park
  • Pros:  POP POP POP, Slimewalls, Graphics
  • Cons:  Not amazing in powder,

Experience:   This board is great, I brought it up to June Mtn to hit the park and it blew my mind. Actually the first time I hit a jump I popped the board too hard and over shot the landing and broke my bindings. So yes this board has way more pop than my team gullwing. The slimewalls make landing alot easier and softer on my knees. The only problem I had was in powder, that the board would sometimes get stuck in the really deep stuff, but other than that it is amazing

  • Name: 2011 Rome Shift
  • Pros:  good control, comfortable, look great
  • Cons:  broken (made of plastic), bad toe strap,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I loved these bindings while they lasted, they fit perfectly, and were very comfortable. They did the job giving me complete control over my board. Th bad things are, when taking a hard fall the toe strap would slide up over the toes and I would have to stop and reset the strap. Also when I jumped over a medium feature, I landed a little heavy on the tip and the binding literally shattered. Bottom line: If it were me Id go straight for something that will last forever, but if your a beginner and not going to be abusing these things too much then these are perfect for you.

  • Name: 2011 Dragon Rogue Snowboard Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Wide Visibility, No Fog, Works with a Helmet

Experience:   These googles are great, I upgraded from the DX's and could'nt be happier. They dont fog and fit great around my helmet.

  • Name: 2011 Burton Ruler Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Warm, Low Profile, Speed Laces
  • Cons:  Scared of Speed Laces Breaking,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  13
  • Boot Size:  13

Experience:   Just got this for Christmas and I couldn't be more excited. They are such an upgrade from my old Head boots and they have such a slimmer profile as well as weight reduction. The lower profile helps them fit my bindings better too. If you have the money pick them up asap.
"Great Helmet" 12/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Smith Maze Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Light, Low Profile, Good Fit
  • Cons:  Vents, Ugly Google Strap, Warmth

Experience:   Just bought the helmet and it is super light weight and has a low profile on your dome. I would have liked to see more vents, a better looking goggle strap, and some fleece or something to keep my ears warm, but its hard to find a helmet that fits as well as this one for the intermediate price. Bottom line: I would recommend this helmet.

  • Name: 2011 Dragon DX Snowboard Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Price, Extra Lense, Comfort
  • Cons:  Vision,

Experience:   These goggles are great, I haven't had any fogging problems, and it is always nice to have an extra pair of lenses. If you have a low budget (like me) then these are the goggles for you.
