"It is really WARM" 5/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Roxy Canoe Full Zip Womens
  • Pros:  WARM!, Good cut - fits very well, Overall quality
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XS
  • Fits Like:  XS
  • Description:  Great fit, warm, bright, stylish

Experience:   My wife has it from SS in Multi colour. She is 164 cm tall waste 64 cm, Slim build and the XS hoody fits her just right though looks like slim fit with a little extra room only. This is fantastic for NZ winter it is warm with thick padding everywhere except sleeves (hood is padded as well).
"Careful with the size" 5/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Thermatics Hybrid Clava Top
  • Pros:  good quality, price (on sale), warm
  • Cons:  narrow back, neck is too small,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  XS
  • Description:  It is just right but the back is too narrow - pressures underarms

Experience:   Overall good thermal. I was a little disappointed with fit but I guess it is just me not getting the right size. 1. It is just right but the back is too narrow - pressures underarms 2. Neck is too tight
"Sessions" 5/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Zero Snowboard Pants
  • Pros:  Stylish, Price,
  • Cons:  waterproofing not sure, still has to be tested,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Regular

Experience:   We bought these pants for my wife. We bought Small size, fits just right. Not too baggy fit more like regular.

Comments & Questions

SVS
I apologize for a mistake THE SIZE is XS. A few days ago she tried them in action. Found that they are a little too small - movements are strangled. So if you consider these pants be aware SMALL size is going to be truly small, XS is a true XS. Bought XS after experience with Burton pants which were way too big.

kazmataz
Thanks 4 the review, hows the waterproofing?

SVS
No problem experienced with that. If you are looking at getting these consider wearing thermal layer as they are not too warm. Tested at -4 C Cheers

"Bag" 5/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Fall Line Single Ski Bag
  • Pros:  Great price on sales, value for money,
  • Cons:  Not much room for other stuff,

Experience:   I bought this item for my wife. She has 149 cm ski so it is a little too big for them. Overall it is a good value for money

Comments & Questions

SVS
Some padding would be a big plus. This bag is a little roomier than 2009 Dakine Concourse Single Ski Bag. Waterproofing is good.

"Giro Score Pk Goggles 2009 - Great goggle" 4/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Giro Score PK Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Price is right, well handled moisture, Good fit, clear vision,
  • Cons:  NONE,

Experience:   I bought these for a friend but ended up keeping them and buying him another pair. My face is rather medium size men's.

Comments & Questions

SVS
After a few times of use Velcro strap went loose. Does not hold the goggle very well. This is the only serious CON discovered so far but really disappointing. I would not recommend to get it.

"Good hoodie but why Ironman?" 8/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Ironman
  • Pros:  Good soft fabric, Style, color, warmth\thickness
  • Cons:  Metallic Analog logo, massive and heavy,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Baggy

Experience:   Stlylish and well coloured. Don't like too baggy clothing so have it in Small though normally wear Medium. The hoodie impresses with being so thin and warm. The fabric is a quality soft cotton. The only thing I don't like is an Analog metallic massive logo that is a little too heavy and not good for washing machine.
"Comfortable and durable shoes" 8/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Gravis Tarmac Vulc Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  Design and colours, Durable, General fit, true sizing

Experience:   I got them in size 9.5 and it is the size I normally wear so the sizing is very true and general fit is perfect. The shoes have very good lining, removable foot bed inserts, quality upper fabric double-triple stitched. I regret that have not got another pair in dark olive when they had my size. Very good shoes. Highly recommended.
"Beach bag NOT A HAND BAG" 6/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Gravis Tango Womens
  • Pros:  True beach accessory, Bottom padding, soft handles, Heaps of pockets
  • Cons:  A little cheap look for a $50 bag,

Experience:   Bought this for its main purpose - carrying stuff to the beach. The name it is posted here under is a little misleading. First of all it is big - about 41 cm high, 47 cm wide. Zips up at the top, good soft handles. Sun reflective material is very good when having drinks or water in it - it will stay cool for longer. 4 pockets on the inside (1 big on one side and 3 smaller on the other) and 4 on the outside.
"BURTON - no disapointment all all" 5/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Fly Snowboard Pants
  • Pros:  Quality, Warm, Breath well
  • Cons:  Sizing is far from normal,
  • Pant Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  XS
  • Fits Like:  XS
  • Description:  Truly snow pants - warm, breathing, style

Experience:   A long saga with choosing pants for my wife seems to be over.. Had previously ordered Sessions Zero in XS which we found to be too small around hips. Then ordered these in S - too big. Nearly 2 inches extra in waist (even with adjustments on the inside of the pants), too long. Last week got XS - fit perfect though may not be comfortable with extra layer underneath. Tried them yesterday - all good, BURTON! Very warm so less likely she will need extra thermal layer on the mountain. Quality is great inside out. My wife is 164 cm tall, 52 Kg, slim. It is really worth reading reviews on sizing when browsing. And big thanks to those who put details on sizing and fitting.
"Hard to criticize..." 5/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Goggle Case
  • Pros:  Price, price, price, Hard, well padded, Practical colour
  • Cons:  Shape, Design,

Experience:   I have two of these - for me and my wife. Good: padded, practical colour. It is really hard to complain for the price bought but.. design could be better and shape, more of the goggle shape would be better and more compact. Overall I give it GOOD since the main mission is keep the goggles away from scratching.
"Bonfire rules" 5/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Bonfire Baker Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  Design (Colours, pockets), Very warm, Waterproofing
  • Cons:  Size M fits like L,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Size M fits like Lagre

Experience:   I had to re-order size S because M was too big. S fits just right. The jacket was beyond my expectations - very warm good fit, fabric. Pockets are great too.

Comments & Questions

SVS
I am 174 cm, 72 kg. I would say average build with normal shoulder width, proportional. Small fits very well not baggy. Sleeves are still long enough covering knuckles. Wear a thermal underneath but anything like a long sleeve T-shirt and a sweatshirt is still OK though feels just a little tight around the body. The jacket is warm so I normally have a thin thermal sometimes a thicker thermal. Medium was huge for me, definitely too much. I hope that helps

"Board Shorts" 6/17/2011

  • Name: 2008 Analog Kesey
  • Pros:  True sizing, Colours and design, Bottle opener
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Summer essensial

Experience:   The shorts are great fit, bottle opener included in the right hip pocket. Colours has held strong even after one summer season.Overall durable clothing. Dry fast. Unlike traditional short the have some edges glued rather than stitched.
"Great all purpose" 6/14/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Pilot
  • Pros:  Make quality , waterproof, low centre of gravity
  • Cons:  Hydration pack would be good with it, -, -

Experience:   I am using this backpack also for tramping. Low centre of gravity and flat shape make it very comfortable to carry around. Excellent quality item - durable and solid. Holds moisture out well. Ski mounting part is OK though - not very easy to use. Ski poles compartment is...I cannot stick them in there. Overall Good as a back pack, OK as ski carrier.
"All mountain train ride experience" 6/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Volkl Unlimited AC 50 w/ iPT Wide Ride 14
  • Pros:  ice packs handling, stability and speed, IPT WR binding works well
  • Cons:  heavy, require powerful legs to get the most out of it,

Experience:   These are definitely good skis - a true all mountain performer. Surprising carving ability for the width and stiffness. Ice is not a problem. Speed is what AC 50s like. You need to be very good physically to handle a pair of these, especially legs have to be strong to enjoy the skis. They are stiff so consider that with your preferences for skiing. Heavy, heavy and bulky are the negatives from my experience.
"Summer Board shorts" 6/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Analog Ensign
  • Pros:  Design, Fit,
  • Cons:  Stretchy black sinthetics,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M

  • Description:  Normal board shorts

Experience:   The shorts are very comfy so fit just right, zip fly , zip right hip pocket. Design and colour are great. Dry fast. Not very excited about black stretchy synthetic fragments though.
"Artic Polka V neck" 9/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Midweight VNeck Thermal
  • Pros:  Good cut - long body cover, well designed wrists, Breathable, Warm
  • Cons:  Design, Requires gentle care,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XS
  • Fits Like:  XS
  • Description:  Just right

Experience:   Bought it for my partner in Artic Polka design. She is comfortable with it as it performs as a thermal should - warm, breaths well, well designed wrists, general long body cover. The only complain is the product requires gentle care as colours\print do not resist washing well and you may find them not as bright after half a dozen cycles. Also design is a little sad - looks more like a pajama top. Overall good product for the purpose.
"Great shoes" 9/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Gravis Lowdown Womens
  • Pros:  excellent quality craft, comfortable, true sizing fit, fashionable

Experience:   Bought this pair for my partner. Her comments: The shoes are true size and true to sizing chart provided in description. Removable quality foot bed inserts, very comfortable, good support for medium arch. Overall shoes are stylish, great lining, quality durable sole, three vents on the inner side of the foot. Deserves 5 stars.
"Excellent poles" 8/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 K2 6 Speed Ski Poles
  • Pros:  Light weight, ergonomic handle, Durable and strong, Two sets of baskets
  • Cons:  NONE,

Experience:   I was lucky to get them at season sale and was double lucky that my size was still in stock. A truly great pair of poles - light weight and your hands will feel the difference straight away if before you were using aluminum. The handle is very well shaped, good grip and designed well to fit human hand. Hold pressure well. Two sets of baskets - one for softer and deeper snow and they other is for hard packs. For ladies - fitting baskets takes man's effort though. Design.. to me it is simple and conservative though the poles still look good. Highly recommended with no doubt.
"Perfect beach cooler" 8/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Lil Buddy Womens Cooler
  • Pros:  Well padded cooler lining, shoulder harnes, Metal strap hooks, buckles - NO PLASTIC, Speakers
  • Cons:  -, -, -

Experience:   This is a perfect bag to take to a beach well padded cooler compartment, roomy, the strap is truly ergonomic, the buckles and hooks are made of metal NOT PLASTIC. Five compartments (including the main cooler compartment, two smaller pockets, speaker compartment, and the same size compartment on the other side) Speakers are good enough for a portable set - come with adapter that works of 4* AA batteries. The headphone jack is brilliant - fits my BB Bold 9700! Oh yes, bottle opener ..that is really hard to loose, good addition. I give it the highest rating with no doubt.

Comments & Questions

SVS
It actually holds not six beers but whole lot more about 12 cans easy or even more.

"Skateboarding backpack" 8/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Treble Yell
  • Pros:  Waterproofing, Shoulder straps, strap across chest, Padded bottom, well padded back side
  • Cons:  Only two small compartments, No compartment for water flask,

Experience:   This is a truly good backpack. Great for skateboarders(since had skateboard holder) and for the mountain - great waterproofing (Tried it on a wet day - hold water away from your belongings great). Shoulder straps are wide enough and very well shaped to give comfort and distribute pressure on your shoulders. Also there is a strap across chest that can adjust to a I height you want. Padding on the back side. Some padding on the bottom. Has a laptop compartment - I actually managed to fit 15 into it but you would not be able to zip it if put anything else. Two small compartments on the sides. Personally really miss a compartment for a water flask and maybe couple of smaller compartment on the inside.
"Light weight, soft flip flops with arch support" 8/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Gravis A-Bah
  • Pros:  arch support, colour and design, soft, true size

Experience:   These are normal flip flops with soft sole. I wear them to the swimming pool. True size flip flops. Have them in size 10. Good about it that I think is worth to mention: stable on wet floors, shaped for some arch support, soft and light weight, comfortable strap... also price and of course design, colour that you can see for yourself. Recommended.
"Stylish lightweight hoodie" 8/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Analog Quarter
  • Pros:  Design and colours, Light weight, Fit
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Definitely baggy fit

Experience:   As most of Analog clothing I bought it in size Small (though normally it is Medium for me), colour True Black and this hoodie still looks a little baggy on me. Overall the fit is great. Really like the design and colours (I have True Black), how the pockets are done and the hood (it seems to be the thickest part of the hoodie). The fabric gets softer after the first wash but when you have it feels a little stiff. Mine faded the colours after 4 washes but I suspect I didn't follow the washing instructions well enough.
"Light weight, soft flip flops" 8/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Gravis A-Bah Womens
  • Pros:  light weight, soft, good design and colours

Experience:   These are average flip flops with soft sole to last a season or two if you wear them actively everywhere. My girlfriend has had them for a month or so using around the house and to the swimming pool. Well shaped strap, very light, flexible, good colours and design, shaped for a little arch support... and unbeatable sale price.
"Bargain pants for a sunny day" 8/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Achilles Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Good Breathable construction, Vents, pockets, overall design, ThermaGrid is worm
  • Cons:  Quality of seams could be better, Quality of clips could be better,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Baggy pants

Experience:   I bought these as a spare pair for sunny warmer conditions or alternatively with thermal pants (they have plenty of room to allow thermal underneath). Had them at -2C at the mountain and they worked fine for me - warm enough. With 5K waterproofing the are not too great on a wet day especially if you still have a learning curve to go through and fall a lot. Generally found that the pants are good fit but when using it for the first time found a seam defect on the right side pocket near the zip. Also a clip on the back pocket came off. No extreme force applied - it just came off when I tried to open it. Would probably still recommend if you are getting them for as much as I did - $35.

Got them restitched and button repaired on warranty by Sessions here in NZ.

"Just a beanie" 7/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Monaco
  • Pros:  Good fit, Stretches ,
  • Cons:  design: I would make that logo smaller,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Good fit, full size acrylic beanie

Experience:   I bought it in Black magic colour(got the leftover, the last one) - not so exciting but still looks good. Fits my head perfect (circuit 57 cm ). Stretches well for a better fit. 100% acrylic material. Warm? - yes. Would definitely recommend especially in those other brighter colours.
"Lighter super fit socks" 7/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Wigwam Snow Whisper Pro
  • Pros:  light weight, water repelling is very good, seamless toe closure is a plus
  • Cons:  not as warm, padding is minimum,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Light socks for tighter fit boots

Experience:   X2O Acrylic and Olefin really do what they are intended to - your feet will be dry in these. The socks are light weight with comfortable seamless toe closure so for a tight fit boot that will work very good for you. Comparing these to Snow Glade Pro or Xenon Pro socks these really have no padding other than the sole part. So in general these socks are not for those who are cold resistant or in action all the time.

Comments & Questions

SVS
the last sentence should really be "So in general these socks ARE for those who are cold resistant or in action all the time."

"Casual shoes" 7/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Gravis Catalina Suede Womens
  • Pros:  Quality leather upper, Adjustable strap, Comfortable lining
  • Cons:  rubber band part of the strap looks frail,

Experience:   My wife has these in blueberry colour. Sizing for these shoes is true to the size chart and fits the foot stated in cm. Though she really should have got half size up as it is a little too tight width wise. So hopefully it will stretch. The strap has two buttons that make it adjustable plus there is a part of the strap which is made of rubber band. The shoes have some weight in it but not too dramatic. The upper leather is really a good quality, lining on the inside is very soft. The fit is good but if you wear 6.5 your forefoot should not be any wider than 8 cm. Rubber outsole looks good with violet sole and white on the sides.
"Snow shell -Street Jacket" 7/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 686 Plexus Oasis Softshell Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Design and colours, Can be worn as casual winter jacket, Zip Vents, pass pocket
  • Cons:  No snow skirt, A little too stiff material,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Baggy

Experience:   Shell jacket. My partner wears it as a casual winter jacket. The first impression - the jackets feels a little too stiff. The jacket is classical snowboard fit - baggy, size Small fits as Normal Medium. Does not have a snow skirt (which could be an advantage if you intend to use as a winter jacket). Has normal stuff - zip arm pit vents, inside left upper pocket with a smaller pocket for a lift pass. Two zip outside lower pockets. Hood adjustment. Again JUST A SHELL - if wearing for snow extra layer are a must to stay warm. Waterproofing is with no complains.
"Smart casual outfit" 7/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Analog Regent Cord
  • Pros:  quality, simple smart casual look, slim fit makes it look better than just a jacket
  • Cons:  can't think of any,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Fits just right (I think because it is slim fit)

Experience:   This item really needs more information filled in. There is not much about it so I assumed it is a normal Analog sizing (about one size bigger than normal) and bought SMALL. When I got it it appeared to be slim fit and was two small in the shoulders and back. The quality is good, looks good with any jeans, some pants. Re-order Medium. This time it was right on. The jacket has 3 pockets on the outside (2 bigger lower front, 1 upper left) all button up. 1 wallet pocket on the inside.
"Normal sandals" 7/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Volcom Mod 1 Creedlers
  • Pros:  Materials, General product quality ,
  • Cons:  SIZING CHART (Misleading - SS PLEASE CORRECT), Limited colours,

Experience:   At the time I bought it was the only pair available and I just needed something urgent. The pair I have ordered were size 10, Colour BLU. THEY ARE NOT 27CM (as stated on the chart below) BUT 28 CM! And the reading on sandals tag says it is 28 CM! Can you please remove that chart because it is really misleading. Colour BLU is definitely better it is sort of blue\white\red scratch. Black looked boring so I decided to take my chances (there is no photo of this colour) and ordered BLUe which appeared to be OK. The sandal is OK. But since it is the whole 10 mm longer than my foot I have not use for it.

  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Baggy fit, normal, nothing special

Experience:   Got this one for running and outdoors and was expecting it too be baggy and a little bigger fit. But this time it was just too big. My friend is getting it for his birthday now-) In general the hoody is as normal, nothing special, conservative design, warm, good printing quality. If it is still in stock I will get with my next order.

  • Cons:  Buttons are the pain, Sizing,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Big fit, soft, stylish

Experience:   Hi, I got this item in Medium size and it is just too big - fits like L size. Don't use buttons - too tight with big risk if ripping off the hoody. Other than buttons it is a good looking piece of clothing. I am going to get a smaller size with my next order.

Comments & Questions

SVS
I got it in SMALL now and it is just right. For those who still want to use buttons: I found a work around to fix those buttons (BE AWARE YOU NEED TO BE CAREFUL TRYING TO DO THAT LITTLE STEP BY STEP - NOT TO ruin YOUR BUTTONS). Get a metal tool which would about fit into the female button (only the very end of it). Stick the tool into it and try to widen the button - VERY CAREFULLY, BY LITTLE STEPS, AFTER EACH STEP TRY AND SEE HOW THE BUTTON WORKS.

SVS
The tool needs to be in round shape same as female button.

  • Pros:  2 goggles in 1 buy, FIT is just great, Wide view angle
  • Cons:  Price tag (though maybe it is worth it),

Experience:   I was skiing last weekend on artificial snow and they had a shop which I popped into during a break. Tried these on - and was impressed how well and natural they fit me. My face is Asian, wide, roman nose. The view - wide. Sales duded has swapped the lenses in a few moves - would definitely work on a mountain. General appearance is stylish and futuristic. Unfortunately the price tag was through the roof any any reasonable limits as at most near the mountain shops. My Smith OTG feels not as good after I had I\O on. SS, please restock!!!.

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Spice Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Warm, Not too baggy,
  • Cons:  Sizing not quite right,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  XS
  • Description:  SLIM fit

Experience:   The jacket was purchased for my wife. Since She wears normally XS she picked SMALL size and was prepared to have it a little baggy rather than getting XS which would be too small. When it arrived it fitted just write - chest, sleeves, waste... Warm, good quality for a few seasons solid. Jo-jo pass holder is not probably the best solution but will do the job.

  • Name: 2010 Volkl Attiva Luna w/ 3Motion 10.0 Womens
  • Pros:  Easy turns, Edge hold,
  • Cons:  None discovered.,

Experience:   Bought 3 weeks ago and had two trials so far. My wife is a lower intermediate skier that just got a little more confident with her carving. So we bought her this skis with some room to grow. There was a worry though that it would be too hard for her to carve on Lunas and she was prepared to spend some time and grow into them. Surprisingly she found that they are easy to turn, very responsive. I was also impressed to see that her skills seem to be higher with Lunas on. All positive so far.

  • Cons:  sizing,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  M

Experience:   Bought this beanie for my wife just to qualify for free shipping. Design and colours are great. Fit is too small though she is 55, normal build, proportional head.
"Lens is super!" 5/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Smith Knowledge Otg
  • Pros:  Lens is great, Big faces, this is for you,
  • Cons:  Looks huge, Strap with the clip,

Experience:   The lens was my choice factor and when I got it I was very impressed. I am Asian face too (find previous post) and can confirm that it sits a little loose on my nose. The goggle looks huge - my wife says I look like Dart Weider. Strap is a pain - I do not like that kind of plastic clip on the back

  • Name: 2009 Wigwam Snow Glade Pro
  • Pros:  Warm, Padded,
  • Cons:  Size a little too big,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  A little too big

Experience:   I like these socks - padded in the right areas, warm and not too thick. Though they feel like a little too big for my foot. Had them with my boots on walking around the house - ok so far. Will be testing them in real action next weekend.
"Ski, poles bag" 5/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Concourse Single Ski Bag Pink Plaid
  • Pros:  Padding, Overall Quality,

Experience:   I normally put only skis with bindings and poles - all fits just right. Keep clothing and gloves separate. Padding is very good. Shoulder strap with rubber like layer so it does not slide when carrying the bag. Overall it works for me well.

  • Name: 2010 Vonzipper Chakra Goggles
  • Pros:  Good look, Compact, Shape
  • Cons:  Too small ,

Experience:   Bought this pair for my wife but it is a little small for her face. This goggle is for really small face. The goggle is compact and well shaped, strap is good as most of Von Zippers I have seen.

  • Name: 2009 Burton Playa Hooded Thermal Top
  • Pros:  Fit, Looks good,
  • Cons:  Not warm enough,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XS
  • Fits Like:  XS
  • Description:  Good, but not good enough for a thermal

Experience:   Bought this thermal top for my wife. It fits great, right size. She is wearing in everyday routine but not for snow - it is not warm enough, requires extra layers.
"Lange Fluid 10" 5/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Lange Fluid 10
  • Pros:  Good fit, Still Comfortable with the flex index stated, Good value for money
  • Cons:  NONE,

Experience:   I ordered this pair from Sierra. They fit fantastic. I have a an unusual foot shape - a bone popping out on a side of my foot. Which makes it extremely hard to find a boot that would be with an intermediate skier boot and would fit well as well (so my options would be either by comfort boots or buy something more performing and modify ). So I was prepared to get it fitted at ski shop here locally once I get it from Sierra. But surprisingly it fits great with no mods needed.

Comments & Questions

BR

SVS
I bought greens but got in D (was the only available size) hoping it would fit - no luck E is the one for me. Will have to get it with new stock coming in.

  • Pros:  Arch lift, support,

"Exclusive 80 - Comfort with control" 4/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Lange Exclusive 80 Ski Boots
  • Pros:  Comfort, Price,
  • Cons:  Non so far,

Experience:   My Girlfriend bought this pair. She is intermediate. We spent a lot of time getting the right boots for her - average European foot though it is just always not easy to get for her that would fit comfortable and allow control.

Comments & Questions

SVS
Got them in size 25 which was actually one while size bigger than normally worn (24) - was lucky to try on friend's boot first (size 24.5) to find out this sizing detail otherwise would have to send back for replacement. Maintain warmth - very good liner with a fleece upper. Overall good quality construction and buckles.

"Von Zipper Sizzle Goggles! Good stuff for the price" 4/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Von Zipper Sizzle
  • Pros:  Price, fit for small face,

Experience:   These are good for a small face, I bought them for my girlfriend. She is happy. It does not fit me though.

Comments & Questions

SVS
The view is really wide for the size of the goggle. Visibility and fog resistance are impressive for the price you pay. Like the the type of strap it has - non-clip.

SVS
One thing is misleading in product description - "spherical lens" it is actually cylindrical.
