"Best Snowboard Pants" 10/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 686 Smarty Original Cargo
  • Pros:  Perfect. comfortable. Great company, great waterproofing and breathability, great fit and features. liner
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Size down, I am 34 waist and 5'8, small fits perfect for me

Experience:   686 makes some of the best snow gear. their products are innovative and they think of many aspects of snow gear. 686 usually runs big so I got a small which fits my 33-34 waist and length. The liner is a nice comfortable option to wear with the pants and to lounge around in. Without the liner the pants have fleece lining where needed, in the knees and above which is nice if you need to take a breather in the snow. The pants are virtually waterproof and very durable. 686 makes the best snow clothing.

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Crew Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Off Trail,Park,Powder
  • Pros:  great all around, nice graphics, designed after Burton Custom

Experience:   This is a great board for any terain. I bought this from Sierra, at a great price of course and rode it in all kinds of terain: Park, Powder, Groomers and Tree Runs. If you do not know what type of board you need, get the Sierra Crew, you will not go wrong. It is modeled after the Burton Custom, one of the best selling all mountain boards. It does it all and I really dont have any complaints. Perhaps it was a little softer than I expected but it performs well and will be my riding board for years.
"Freestyle 06" 2/4/2009

  • Name: 2006 Burton Freestyle
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Durable, Traction, Good quality, Warm, Breathable, Waterproofing, Well known brand
  • Fit:  soft

Experience:   For the price Sierra is offering, this is a good boot. Basic boot that gets the job done
"Slick Stick" 2/3/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Palmer Flash LTD
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Groomers,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Great value, Soft, Well known brand

Experience:   This board will surprise you as it did me. It is really soft and poppy but yet really durable. I rode all over the mountain on this thing and allthough the powder is not the best place for it, you wont be disappointed. I was surprised by how fast it was and how durable the base is. I rode over many boxes, rocks, fallen trees and jumped off a lot of boulders and it only had minor scratches. It carved well, it is light and is very forgiving on landings and boxes. Sick graphics. I rode through a few feet of powder and it did sink sometimes but I had a great time with it. Thanks Sierra!
"Gentle enough for a woman...but strong enough for a man" 1/14/2009

  • Name: 2008 Burton Gore Tex Under Womens
  • Pros:  Warm, comfortable, Waterproof Gortex, Sierra Prices
  • Cons:  using the liner makes them too bulky and you lose range of motion but you can likely expect that with ANY glove and liner. Gloves are warm enough to not use the liner....either way

Experience:   Guys, if youre ashamed to be browsing in the women's section dont curl your tail and run away. Guys can wear women's gloves too, they arent that much different. The black ones dont look girly and they fit fine. If youre a guy and youre bold enough to get these gloves, order a size up.
"Union "Binding" Company" 12/18/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Union Force
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Adjustability, Boot hold, Durable, Good construction quality, Well known brand, Popular model, Easy installation
  • Cons:  Heavy
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   Union is in the business of making bindings and if youre in the market for some, get to work on some durable bindings. I have the 08's and the construction is quality, the name is in the binding and the toe strap on 09 model is improved. Put some tech on your deck. Sierra Snowboard is in the business of providing the best prices on gear ever and if you only have a few cents, use all the sense you have and buy them at Sierra.
"Great Boot, Great Price, Great Deal" 12/17/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Hail
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Easy lacing, Durable, Good quality, Well known brand, Popular model
  • Fit:  soft

Experience:   This is a very nice boot with great design and construction. I got the Browns and they look great. They have a lot of flex to them and they can be laced pretty tight. They feel durable but they are pretty light in weight. I have a very narrow ankle but these still have a decent heel hold. Sierra has the best price on this boot so naturally I got it from Sierra. Try them on in a store then buy them at Sierra.
"Super Comfortable Goggle" 9/17/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  VERY comfortable. Even though these are meant for a med. to large size face, on my small face they fit fine and are very soft against my face. Goggle lenses are really wide for natural vision

Experience:   Sierra has THE best prices on the internet and I got these for nothing. Sierra backs their prices with a Price Match Guarantee which will never be used because their already lowest priced items.
