Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (5) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Super Tune Base Cleaner (6 Oz)
  • Pros:  easy applied, cleans great,
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   I bought this cleaner when started waxing my board by myself. It perfectly does it's job. Just don't forget to let it dry before waxing!

Comments & Questions

fishkur
Is it oily? What does it smell like? Does it leave a residue?

watching-sunset
It has kind of citrus smell, hard to explain. And yes, it is oily like some other cleaners. Do you have any problems??? Wanna share it in private conversation??

  • Name: 2008 Vans Probo Snowboard Boots - Men's
  • Pros:  cheap, looks nice,
  • Cons:  No inner laces,
  • Fit:  stiff
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  6.5-7
  • Boot Size:  6-6.5

Experience:   I never though boots can hold so badly(. As there are no laces on the inner boot, your foot will be going up and down in this boot. I took this pair to demo before buying but refused after first few slopes. I wouldn're recommend these boots to anyone, especially girls. You can easily damage your feet when riding with these on.

  • Name: 2008 Rossignol Temptation Snowboard - Women's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  High Speeds,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  low price durable cute,
  • Cons:  too stiff,

Experience:   Basically my modell of Temptation is pretty old (07-08)and it was my first own snowboard which lasted me 3 years of falling and learning not too fall. It is ready-to-ride, and priced to fit. Straight sidewalls, full woodcore, and a factory tuned base, the Temptation is a high end board without the high price tag. It's a great board for the beginner, but later I switched to more flexible stick) still love this one very much) my star-board)

  • Name: 2010 Dakine 10" Scraper
  • Pros:  quality price,

Experience:   Just tried this one yesterday, when waxing my base. It's super-duper great. Easy to work with, thank to its wideness - it's really easy to remove extra wax from snowboard without doing extra moves. Highly recommended. Well, as all dakine stuff. Good job, people!

  • Name: 2010 Oakley A Frame
  • Pros:  great lens, great fit, nice design
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   I have tried these goggles in one on my last trips to mounts, borroved from a friend of mine and I would have to say that these are best I've ever weared. They have great face fit and fit perfect with my helmet. In the day I was using these goggles it was pretty changable weather first cloudy, then sunny, then again cloudy. But no matter what was in the sky I had a perfect view. Even in the dusk, before the lights were on above the hill I could see everything just great. I would suggest these goggles to anyone. They are totally perfect and really pretty!

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Nano Driver Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  cute, small size,
  • Cons:  usability,

Experience:   I had an opportunity to use this screw driver on a moountain. Very cute in design and small in sizes it's ok when you set your bindings at home, but as soon as you go out, with your gloves on, when there's much snow this thing becomes very uncomfy.

Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Petal Mat Stomp
  • Pros:  colors, good glue,

Experience:   these stomp pads are so colorful any girl will find the one to fit her snowboard's design. only cons is that stings can be broken soon. but still the are really the best i've ever used

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Afterburner Paste Wax Bulk 32oz
  • Pros:  good in changeable temperatures,
  • Cons:  hard to apply,

Experience:   I use this wax all-season round. It's high quality, and is very useful when snow is damp. Makes my board shred faster)

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Mission Womens
  • Pros:  pockets, sizes, colors
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   I bought this one in the beginning of winter and am very happy to have it. It has awsome pocket for goggle, pocket for my laptop (which is quite big) Great thing about mission packs - is a variaty of prints and colors. Great choice for everyone!

  • Name: 2010 686 Acc Empire Insulated Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  colorful, warm, water and wind proof,
  • Cons:  baggy fit,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Looks a bit to baggy

Experience:   I bought it this winted and was surprised with how warm is it. But there are some misfits with sizes. M appeared to be a bit small in chest and L is too big in waist. But I still like it very much!

  • Name: 2011 Vans Sport Shades Sunglasses
  • Pros:  Quality, fit,
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   So I got 2 pairs of these Vans eyeshades: in red for me and in blue for my husband. Even though these are men's shades, they fit girl's face very well. Plastic and metal are very well combined, look and feel pretty durable. UV protection is great, do their job well in sun light. More than that, they are really stylish. Oldschool look is great both for sports and everyday usage. Love these eye-shades and Highly recommend them, especially for such an awesome low price!!!

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Pipe Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  colors, size,
  • Cons:  materials,

Experience:   I used to have dakine board bag before, but then i sold it because bought this new one. Should say unfortunately. Comparing to previous bag from same category and same brand, this new bag seems to have worse material. The fabric is very weak and tears easily with board edges. It also gets wet (ain't water proof). Still I have to admit that this model has great colors and has bigger volume. more space for boots, helmet and other board stuff. But I wouldn't recommend to buy this bag as travelling bag.

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Mini Tune Snowboard Tune Kit
  • Pros:  small, durable, easy to use

Experience:   Bought this set for my bf and use it also. Screw driver is extremely comfortable, really handy thing. Has many replacement tips for any type of screw. You can easily work with it both in mittens and in gloves. Fast burner was is also very handy especially when the temperature is above or close to Zero. In this case you can apply it to board base even outside, directly on the hill. Edge tuner is also very good quality, is easy to use and vecause of small sizes it is possible to use it on magnatraction edges. Basically really great setup for fast and easy tuning to mountain conditions.

  • Name: 2011 Anon Solace Printed Snowboard Goggles Women's
  • Pros:  compatible with helmet, design, performance

Experience:   So now I tried it and can spread the word. First of all it fits perfect with my R.E.D. helmet and create great symbiosis of protection and style. I used it for Sunny days and have to admit that it creates perfect protection from light beams, eliminates glares. The lense doesn't misrepresent colors, which is beneficial for me, as I usually recognize people on slope by colors of their cloths^^ and my yellow lenses makes green out of blue)) So this goggle fits great, no fogging, seems to be perfect for women's face and it looks really cool.
"Nice Gloves" 12/1/2011

  • Name: 2011 DC Lear Snowboard Mitts Men's
  • Pros:  colors, price, warmth
  • Cons:  palm material,

Experience:   So I finally had an opportunity to try these mittens on. First of all I have to admit that they really look very nice (I have those black-pink-grey) Good feature is that you can tighten the lace on your wrist and not worry you will lose 'em when you put them off. Also I really like all mittens that have inner fingers channels. They are really comfortable and warm. The only doubt I have is about the palm material. It seems to be very soft and tender. I'm afraid it will tear up soon on some ice or rocks...

Another cons appeared - on warm days when everything's melting they get wet pretty fast(((

"not that great as expected" 11/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Afterburner Paste Wax (2 Oz)
  • Pros:  price, quality,
  • Cons:  usability,

Experience:   ok, when I bought this afterburner wax I was expecting that it will be easy to apply and use, but the pad which comes with it is not very comfy to use. It collects all the wax on it and then you have to somehow remove it (i had to heat the pad and remove the it with hands). The worse thing is when you have left very small quantity of wax, then it becomes really difficult to apply it on the board surface. Still as wax it is pretty good and does it job. It lasts at least one day (depending on snow and weather conditions may be even more). But I wouldn't recommend it for quick waxing.
"Brain Farm did a good job!" 10/12/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Art Of Flight Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  filming/shooting , editing, scenes/music
  • Cons:  did not meet expectations,

Experience:   So yes, finally it happened. The Art of Flight came out after long months of waiting. First of all I should say that Curt Morgan and Travis Rice is a great symbious of artist and sportsmen, who love and live in a same lifestyle. Separately I would like to say about the spots: British Columbia, Patagonia, Chile/Argentina, and others - so different so unbelievebly beautiful. Different snow conditions, different mounts, different riding styles of riders. In combination with great music all this looked really amazing and make me excited about the new season coming. Brain Farm has great equipment to make such movies: cameras, helicopters and very talanted pilots who managed to do those crazy things. The quality was really awsome, but unfortunalety i felt the trailer much more exciting. They didn't show Austria and Romania (as promised in trailer), many shots are missing which looked really nice. But still I have to admit that this movie is really awsome, it now stands in one row with TITA. Reccomend to watch not only those who is into the snowboarding, but those who just like high quality documentalism.

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Crash Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  fit, materials,
  • Cons:  pockets, gators,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  I've ordered L-size and it feel between M and L. Perfect for me.

Experience:   Ok. So now I have this jacket and would like to share the esperience about it with you. First of all: Girls, if you are looking for a jacket with girlish fit, but still free and comfortable, take a chance with this jacket. Special Electra cut is the most fitting jacket I ever had. I ordered L-size jacket and it feels free but still doesn't look baggy. It is really warm but the jacket itself is thin, which also helps to look more slim. I also like the yoyopass holder. it is hidden in little pocket on the inner side and works really nice. As cons I would say that I feel lack of pockets, I usually have alot of different pockets all over the jacket, but it is a very minor minus. Also I wish this one had hand gators, as in the powder you might experience troubles with snow in your sleeves. Still I would say that this jacket is a really good choice. I bought the St Tropez color and it looks awsome both with pink and green pants.

  • Name: 2009 Rossignol The Mini Snowboard Broken Check
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Park,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  light, easy, fun
  • Cons:  catchy edges,

Experience:   I demod this mini board from a friend of mine. It's really mini board for mega fun. For sure it's not a board for speed runs or powderdays, as it catches edges easily, but for funriding it's awsome. You can easily do different tricks which were pretty complicated with fullsized board. It is really great tool for fun ride)
"Cute accesorie for everyday use" 6/22/2011

  • Name: 2011 Foursquare Mop Top Beanie
  • Pros:  Cute light color,
  • Cons:  pills,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Feels free on my head

Experience:   This benie is really wonderful. It fits almost any type of haircut and hair color. I demod it and it felt very warm and comfortable. My friend bought it this winter, but after few weeks it pills appeared on the surface, basically this means that the fabric quality is not very good. But still it is an adorable accesorie for winter)

You demo'd a beanie? I feel like this review is meaningless if you didn't even wear it out of the store.

I just shared experience, that's it. I saw it in use, I know how it looks and I share what can go wrong. What else bothers you?

  • Pros:  price comfortable light durable,
  • Cons:  print quality,

Experience:   First Roxy flip-flops i bought few years ago. That pair stayed with me for 2 years. I weared them in summer almost everyday. The rest time I used them as home sleepers) They are really great. They never grazed my feet as othe flip-flops often do. The only cons is that print-paint flaked fast, but still were looking ok)

  • Name: 2007 Burton B By Burton Deco Women's

Experience:   Purchased this Burton B last year and it became one of my most beloved purses. It works good both as a clutch or wallet. Basically it's very comfy, doesn't get dirty fast, and those buttons.. I like them very much. All girls ask where did I get it from and what brand is it, after I show the B logo everything becomes clear ;)

  • Name: 2007 Dakine Freestyle Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  durable, variety of design, roomy
  • Cons:  is old now,

Experience:   I have purchased one of these board bags when I bought my first board. It was pretty cheap that time (about 4 years ago). One of the first things I liked about thisgear bag was the design. I had many options to choose from and have one that goes best with my Mission Backpack. This bag became a friend of mine on each road trip. I can fit here all my gear. Boots(size 6.5), Board (155cm), helmet, gloves/mittens, pants and other stuff. The only hting is that in some spots it got teared because of my sharp edges)) But I still love it very much for bein such a good purchase)

  • Name: 2006 Technine Jv Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  price materials usability,
  • Cons:  design,

Experience:   Well, in the picture these bindings look white-red, basically they are mostly grey, which make them look like plastic. This is why design loook not that nice as in the picture. Straps seem to be pretty thin, but they hold my boot pretty well. Ratches seem to be not very durable, but we will see how these will work. Basically I liked these bindings, still the price was so small that all the cp=ons are nothing. I also liked that there are two types of toe straps, so I can switch to what i like more)

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Blazer Snowboard Gloves - Men's
  • Pros:  warm, dry, heavy duty
  • Cons:  no sale on this item,

Experience:   These are 2nd pair of Dakine Gloves I'm purchasing for my Boyfriend. Previous lasted for 2 years and if my BF didn't burn it with sigarete they would still be great. These gloves are really high quality, made of heavy duty materials and have a great design. Theay are very warm and fit good on a hand, you can feel free in doing everything (unlike mittens). These Dakine gloves are for those riders, who contact with snow alot, for freeriding and backcountry, aspesially in cold winter months.
