"Volkl Mantra's Handle Everything!" 6/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Volkl Mantra
  • Pros:  Great all around Ski..., Stiff yet lightweight...,
  • Cons:  Little if any...,

Experience:   I weigh 195lbs at 6'3 and ski 191's with the Griffin Marker's. I have Used these on Ice groomers in the morning, 2ft. powder days, Windblown powder days, and Hiked Slackcountry with these. It handled all conditions well. Especially crud and death cookies at high speeds. The classic black bottoms are easy to match with black ptex. They have a nice sidecut which makes them great for really laying down elbows on fast groomers. When my titanium top sheet started to get banged up from edges, I had to watch out for little sharp slivers of titanium as I carried them. For an all mountain/all condition ski these are the BEE's KNEE's!!! (whatever that means)...they rock!!
"Marker Griffon" 6/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Marker Griffon
  • Pros:  Large Brakes to fit around my Mantra's waist..., Easy in and out...,

Experience:   I Use these with my Volkl Mantra 191's and they have allways released in a crucial fall...I was recomennded this combo by SSB and I dig it. I used them with Dalbello Virus Tour Lite, Dalbello Krypton Pro's, and Nordica Speedmachine10. Versitle binding for All Mountain FreeSkiing All Condition Downhill Binding. Easy to use with poles too...
"Dalbello Krypton Pro ID Rock!!!" 6/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dalbello Krypton Pro I.D
  • Pros:  Very Adjustable..., Cool Gecko Colour...,
  • Cons:  Cool Gecko Green?, They don't fit wide feet...,

Experience:   I have never skied in a more comfortable boot... The design is really cutting edge and the service at the store was excellent. (thnx Adam) I have a Med D With foot with a high arch and high instep. I used superfeet to mediate between my high arch and the flat boot bottom...I am amazed with the amount of adjustability within the buckles, footbed, rear Spoiler, and rear stiffness. Try them out...Italian families make good stuff. Not to mention Glen Plake uses them!!!
