"Love it" 5/1/2011

  • Name: 2010 Burton T6 Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed
  • Pros:  Fast, Stable, Very responsive once I got used to it

Experience:   I've enjoyed this board, been quite a lot of fun to use in NZ and AU. It's stiff and I've found it quite responsive. I got a 'damaged' version, the sticker was slightly out of place. Nil damage since, and it's traveled a bit. Amazingly nil damage. Except when I went over some very thin snow during spring in AU and scraped it like crazy but a good wax seemed to have fixed that. I'd recommend it. This season I'm tossing up on getting a Sierra board though.
"Warm" 5/1/2011

  • Name: 2009 Bonfire Chevron Cable Beanie
  • Pros:  Warm, Stylish,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Nice and long.

Experience:   I liked the warmth and how far down the beanie went on my head. It could have easily covered my whole head if I pulled it down. So it was really good as I have long hair to cover as much of that as possible and if I wore my hair up it didn't expose all of the back of my neck. I've kept it for this season, so I recommend it.
"Wear it backwards" 5/1/2011

  • Name: 2010 Sessions Stamp Beanie Men's
  • Pros:  Warm, Not itchy, Basic black design
  • Cons:  Brim is a bit annoying, Could be warmer,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  On the big side, covered my ears easy.

Experience:   I liked this beanie. I lost it annoyingly, so I'll probably get one for this season depending how my new one goes. It looks good, could have been warmer on the rainy days we had in AU last season. Been great around town for keeping warm though. In the snow, probably ok in the southern hemisphere but on the north in the middle of winter. Probably not, depends how warm you like to be. The brim is annoying, it can't be worn at the front, has to be backwards otherwise you keep whacking it every time you take off your goggles. But TBH, thats how I planned to wear it anyway. So yeah, if you wear it backwards. Great beanie for wearing around town.

  • Name: 2010 Burton Ranger Snowboard Pants
  • Pros:  Plain, Warm, Waterproof
  • Cons:  Belt loops weak,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Baggy

Experience:   I've used these pants in NZ and AU, got a lot of wear out of them, with a lot of stacks as well. I've found overall the pants have held together quite well. The belt loops (I wear a belt) have warn out and a few have broken off. The rest of the pants are made very well, these pants have been abused and slightly melted from keeping it too close to the heater to dry. But thats ok, they seem to be able to handle the abuse.
