"They almost got it right!" 5/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Roxy Canoe Full Zip Womens
  • Pros:  lining,
  • Cons:  color design,

Experience:   This is just what I have been looking for: a hoodie with great, warm lining throughout and pockets but I would never wear either design. the plaid is washed out and insipid and the other design is just too busy. Bummer! I'm gonna have to keep looking. Wish they had made one in a 'whole color' (ie no pattern)
"Very happy with my choice!" 4/18/2010

  • Name: 2010 686 Smarty Nouvue Snowboard Jacket Women's
  • Pros:  Two way zip. Plentiful, useful pockets. , Excellent hood adjustment., Liner jacket a bonus, and WILL be worn seperately.
  • Cons:  Pity it doesn't have a draw cord to bring in the, waist: for warmth and looks (has one at the , bottom).
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  According to the size chart I was at the top of medium and bottom of large. No mediums available so I got large. It is true to the sizing chart, and the fit is OK, but on the bigger side as expected.

Experience:   Won't really know about this jacket until I field test it, but very happy with the finish and workmanship. Good cut, nice high neck. Hood adjustment will allow me to wear a helmet, or bring it in close if I choose not too (skiier). Liner sleeves have a long cuff that looks good folded back, and allows for easy sleeve adjustment. Even better than expected. Brilliant price!

  • Name: 2008 Burton B By Burton Windsor Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Design, price, fit,
  • Cons:  Open neck,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XS
  • Fits Like:  XS

Experience:   My friend bought this jacket and loves it. She looks sooo cut in it. Being a petite person she often finds jackets are too long and 'swim' on her. This fit is great. On cold, windy days there is a bit of an issue with cold going down her neck but she now wears a thick neck gaiter on those days, so problem solved!

  • Name: 2008 Forum Stampede SLR Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Great looking boots,

Experience:   I'm a skier, but these boots look so hot, I could think about 'turning'! What a great design. Like it in all the colors, just wish ski boots would look as funky.

  • Name: 2010 Dragon DX Goggles
  • Pros:  Great fit, Comfortable,
  • Cons:  None, so far,

Experience:   I am a medium sized female and have no issues with peripheral vision with these. I purchased a pair of 'camo's and the design is subtle but not boring. These are a spare pair (I couldn't resist the price) and my usual google are Dragon's too but I paid a whole lot mre for them!

  • Name: 2009 Analog Skool Dayz
  • Pros:  Nice cut, Design is brilliant,
  • Cons:  The short ones good option but look 'wrong'.,

Experience:   Love the look of these! what a great concept. Awesome graphics! Going to talk my guy into buying a pair.
"Great allrounder" 4/28/2010

  • Name: 2010 Palmer Pulse
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Great graphics!, Good allrounder,
  • Cons:  Had a little trouble getting set up position due, to size 13 feet.,

Experience:   My husband recently bought his first Palmer. He has been riding on a cheap board that he picked up with no research, just got it because it is on sale. He cant believe the difference with this board, everything is just easier. It is both responsive and forgiving. Especially noticing the difference in straight line running, he just dosent seem to catch an edge as often (?due to better flex).

  • Name: 2010 Flow M11
  • Pros:  Quick entry!, Subtle styling.,
  • Cons:  Nothing found yet (have heard they can loosen up),
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Husband perchased this binding in the 70% off sale. The guys he rides whith have 'Flow' and he has been getting very frustrated grovelling around on the ground while they are in and away. He has been waiting to grab some of these, and could not be happier. He purchased the black and they are nice looking without fuss.
"Good for the Price $68" 4/21/2010

  • Name: 2010 Bonfire Arena Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Draw cord at waist., Good sized pockets,
  • Cons:  Front zip one way., One, small inner pocket ,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  medium fits like a large

Experience:   Bought a '686 smarty nouveau' before I saw this jacket (and bought it too, yes I have issues!) and when that arrived, it was full of good suprises. This jacket was a bit disappointing. The jacket is big around the arms and shoulders and small and the base. This would be a big problem if you are 'pear shaped', esp. since the front zip is one way (fortunately I'm slim hipped but, NOT a fan of one way zips!). Sleeves are on the long side and cuff adjustment looks smart but is not effective. Hood is overlarge and projects well forward (looks like you are peering out of a tunnel which is probably why the model is holding the hood in a more flattering position in each 'hood shot') Large hood will be practical in keeping snow off your face and help in keeping hood from falling back off your helmet (it has hozizonal and vertical adjustment). I wonder if the small pocket built into the skirt is supposed to be the pass pocket. I can't find any other pass pocket and this pocket is too low for autoscan in Japan and poor access for manual check in NZ and OZ Looks like I will be wearing an arm band). Front cargo pockets also have zipped side pockets underneathe. A heavy jacket that I think will be warm. Long line covers butt well, with good 'drip-line' to keep you dry. Waist draw cord gives a flattering shape, and will help keep you warm.
