"Bright White Looks Balla!" 5/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Esquire
  • Pros:  Universal pant interface, Light weight,
  • Cons:  Can't be unzipped from the bottom,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Sleeves are a bit longer, but that's what I like!

Experience:   I always buy a size down for Burton. I wear a L so medium fit perfectly. Bright white looks great for those spring days you don't want to bake in. This jacket has a Burton pant interface so your boxers stay dry when you wipe out. The interface also has ringlets so they'll hook up to any non-Burton pants as well.. Nooice!!
"Finally, a glove she likes.." 5/4/2010

  • Name: 2010 Burton Profile Gloves Women's
  • Pros:  Not too puffy!, Stays dry,
  • Cons:  Snow gets in the glove,

Experience:   After several gloves, this is the only glove that doesn't get bogged with water.. She's just learning to board thus falls frequently on the gloves.. Most other gloves just get heavy cuz of all the water it soaks. This one stays dry all day! Also not as thick as the others, but she hasn't tried it in very cold weather.. so don't know if it's warm enough.
"Worth the money (when on sale)!" 4/26/2010

  • Name: 2009 Burton Zoom 28L
  • Pros:  Durable, Lots of compartments, Looks great
  • Cons:  No quick access to main compartment,

Experience:   I saw a lot of negative reviews about this backpack, but at 70% off, I couldn't pass this up. To date, it's one of my sweetest purchases from Sierra. I'd have more complaints if I paid over $100 for it, but at this price, I'm really satisfied. I have no issues with the waist clip as other users have complained, and the capacity is great. With all the great functions built in this pack, you won't find a better value when it's on sale. Look at the cheesy snowboard bags offered for around the same price.. I would have like to see a quick access to the main compartment (which is offered on some lowpro packs), but then again, this bag guarantees you'll never drop your gear because you forgot to zip the pack.
"Not the strongest lock" 4/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Cable Lock
  • Pros:  Use it to lock additional gear, No key required,
  • Cons:  Not durable,

Experience:   If you don't need anything bullet proof, this lock is okay. But for a couple of extra bucks.. i'd go for a ski-key which are more secure.. but you should always keep one of these handy as most racks are taken during lunch hours and you might have to improvise to lock it around a tree or a fence. Great for securing helmets and gloves to your board if it's already locked. But don't count on it to stop someone really determined to take your gear.
"Still pretty big for junior" 4/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Smith Challenger Otg Youth
  • Pros:  Great value, Lifetime warranty,
  • Cons:  Very big,

Experience:   These are very good quality for the price, and with Smith lifetime warranty, you can't go wrong. However I found that the googles are much smaller for junior size as they fit me as well.. and I don't have an extra small head.. Bottom line, good buy.. and junior will eventually grow into them, so nothing wasted.
"Awsome sock.. Thickest I've owned." 4/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Euro Silver Board Supreme
  • Pros:  Nicely padded,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Just enough tension at the top of your calf.

Experience:   Best sock I've had.. I use to wear two pairs of Burton because I found the boot I bought a little too loose.. Not any more, these are really comfy for a full day of riding. No odor too!
"A well thought out pack.." 4/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Pilot
  • Pros:  Low profile not too bulky, Solid construction,
  • Cons:  Doesn't come with a bladder,

Experience:   I've seen lots of board bags from this company and wasn't very impressed.. I think Burton make the best luggage and board bags. But I decided to try this once because it was a steal @ 70% off. I was really surprised, solid durable construction, cool engineering to hold skis, and a really low profile so it's not too bulky when it's empty.. and when you need it.. the space is there.. This bag has really changed my perception about Dakine. I'll look forward for more deals for this company.
"Gadget jacket cool.. but it's got glitches" 4/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Audex Cargo
  • Pros:  Lots of pockets, Very warm,
  • Cons:  Batterylife not steller, Audex freezes, needs reset often, Bulky front
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Slightly loose.. the way i like.

Experience:   Was really excited to get this jacket with a cool gadget built in. I use this one all the time.. but all the electronic equipment and padding at the front of the jacket makes it bulky.. especially when I bend to bind up.. As for the electronics.. really disappointed with the Audex.. almost never works for long, and the connectors alwas disconnect when I wipe out.
"Sick bag that I'll never use for air travel." 4/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Wheelie Locker Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Fits all ur gear and more, Solid construction, WoW factor!
  • Cons:  Very heavy, even when empty, Doesn't fit two boards with bindings up.,

Experience:   This bag was worth buying just to see ppls reaction when you pull this puppy out of your truck at the resort.. It's HUGE! The problem is I'll never be able to fly with it cuz once it's stuffed (and it's made to be stuffed), you might as well buy a brand new board then to pay the extra charge at the airline counter. Too bad.. but definitely useful for a week-end getaway where you can put this in your car.. It would be perfect if it could fit me and my gfs board bindings on.. but no. So buy it if you don't care if it's not very practical.. but cuz it's kickass cool!
