"they are tight, and by tight i mean tight" 12/2/2009
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gore Tex
  • Pros:  waterproof, quality,
  • Cons:  too small,

Experience:   i received these in the mail today, at first i was really pleased on quality and the look of them. And then i tried them on; they are very contricting when you use the liners. as mentioned before, order a size up or dont use the liners.
"My girl loves em!" 7/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Escapade Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  aggressive, light, quality
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   My girl was originally looking for Union Contacts but she just couldn't find the right size for her. She could fit into men's M/L fine but the strap was too long for her and it didn't look too secure. She didn't want the Triology so we went ahead and bought the Escapades and she loves them. They fit her boots perfectly and she could ride all day without any discomfort.
"Compact Useful Tool but Not Strong" 4/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Mega Blaster Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  small and compact, easy grip,
  • Cons:  Lack of torque power, Weak plastic,

Experience:   I tightened my bindings at home and when I realized that I needed to widen my stance on the mountain. This tool came to rescue or so I thought, the driver has no torque power at all and I was not able to loosen the screws. The temperature wasn't cold at all so the screws weren't frozen or anything. The tool just has no torque power.
"Great bindings but a bit soft for my taste" 10/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Union Force
  • Pros:  price, bombproof, durable
  • Cons:  not all-mountain,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   First of all, the quality and built on this binding is amazing. The binding still has problem with the front rachet and the highback rotation adjustment. Its hard to turn the highback and still keep the same angle on the highback. The front rachet system is not smooth when you slide it off (very rough feeling). The biding had all the features that you need and nothing you dont. The only downside is that people think it is very good all-mountain bindings like Cartel but they are not. If you ride hard and fast, look into Union Force SLs. Union Force is pretty much park bindings and they do OK on cruising.
"nothing special, very thin cotton " 7/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Special Blend Get Rad Bandana
  • Pros:  price,
  • Cons:  very thin cotton,

Experience:   cotton is very thin and it freezes in cold rainy condition. good for blue bird days.
"They stick alright, just don't crash hard" 5/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Foursquare FSQ Die Cut Stickers
  • Pros:  price,
  • Cons:  They easily come off,

Experience:   Despite negative reviews about the lack of adhesive with these die cuts, mine actually stuck to my board fine and it looked pretty decent on my board. This thing probably last 2 runs until I fell on my ass after fighting to bail out on a hard fall. Letters were ripped off and I was left with SQR out of Foursqaure I ripped the whole thing off after the day was over.
"I got these for my gf and they......." 5/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Vonzipper Chakra Goggles
  • Pros:  colorful, sick lens,
  • Cons:  very small frame,

Experience:   I got these for my gf and the frame looks extremely small in person. They are almost for kids or people that are under 5 feet tall. My gf is almost 5'10 and these look really funky on her despite her small face. I am probably going to return them. My gf wears Anon Majestics and these are definitely smaller than those. I would compare the size of these to Dragon DXS size.
"I will wear nothing but FlexFit hats from now on!" 5/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Legend Flexfit
  • Pros:  flexfit,
  • Cons:  lack of other colors,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   I play on a softball league and we play up to 4 times a week in hot weather. I always have problems with tight hats once I start to sweat and bigger, baggier hats fit too big on my head. After trying on this FlexFit hat, I will never wear any other hats in the future. They fit very secure and snug and when I start to sweat, it doesn't matter me too much anymore. It is so comfortable!
"Great stickers but beware!" 5/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2007 Foursquare Min Filled Icon 24Pk
  • Pros:  price,
  • Cons:  they come off easily,

Experience:   I put 4 of these on my snowboard and 3 of them came off by the end of the day. It was a bit icy and cold and I don't think if that made the adhesive to weaken.
"Aggressive, stable, light but stiff" 4/5/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Lib Tech T Rice C2 BTX Horsepower Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Stable at high speed, Very light,
  • Cons:  MTX too grippy, Too stiff,

Experience:   I've ridden 157 T.Rice before and found it too stiff so I thought downsizing to 153 would be ideal for me. I was wrong, the board was still very stiff for me and I really couldn't fully benefit from riding the board. I only recommend the board for advanced riders only. The board is too demanding for an intermediate rider in my opinion.
"Best value for snowboard" 7/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Crew Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  stability, pop,
  • Cons:  maybe graphics?,

Experience:   I just had the chance to ride the new 2010 Sierra Crew and loved it. The board performed as advertised all over the mountain and nothing else from the groomers to the trees. This board has a ton of pop and is very stable at speed and when carving turns, and generally does it all well. And the price? Who can argue with that?? If you're looking for the best value in snowboards right now, buy this board!
"Great Thermal" 6/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Midweight 3/4 Pants Men's
  • Pros:  warm, sized right,
  • Cons:  none,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL

Experience:   I bought a size XL thinking they would be a bit smaller than an XL and fit like a large. This was due to me having this problem in the past having kinda big legs. So these were a bit almost baggy on me but they still were perfectly warm and very comfortable.
"great thermal" 6/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Ak Expedition Thermal Top Men's
  • Pros:  warm, great quality ,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  not baggy, not too fitted

Experience:   I purchased a large black and and a X-large olive .The large fits perfect, fitted but still not too tight- still room for a base layer underneath. They are pretty warm even though they are not very thick. The XL fit is a lil too big for me , but if you like it baggy -order a size up.
"Worst gloves to wear when when" 5/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Approach
  • Pros:  price,
  • Cons:  lack of waterproofing, webbings between fingers rips, fabric gets weakened.

Experience:   I've worn them for a season and they look really beat up. After a wash, webbings between fingers started to rip and the holes got big enough to fit a pen. The back part of the gloves seriously lack waterproofing, even from day 1. Lastly, don't wash these because the fabric will get weakened and you will get even more soaked out on the slopes.
"Very comfortable and support when you need it" 5/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Grail
  • Pros:  supportive, comfort, good all aorund boots
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I rated these boots as all mountain because I could handle all mountain with these. They are extremely light to hit the parks with. I don't feel comfortable hitting rails with these but with my freestyle boots on, I can't hit the rest of the mountain. So I'd rather wear these and hit the rest of the mountain and then some. These boots also have very consistent flex so they are very predictable. I find these very supportive around my ankles and oh wait, did I mention that these are very light?
"Good backpack but not board backpack" 5/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Pilot
  • Pros:  Water Pack capable, durable, simple

Experience:   I just carry this bag around campus. It fits my laptop and text books fine. I did take this bag out on the scopes and I was able to put lots of water and gatorade bottles and some food but it's probably too small for backcountrying.
"Great socks but watch the washing care" 5/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Buffer
  • Pros:  midweight, warm and light, price
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   This is great Burton socks, not too thin to make my feet smelly nor too thick to my toes numb. I know people just wash ski/snowboard socks but you should still take good care of them. Mine became real fuzzy after a couple of washes and some of the material started coming off.
"I will wear nothing but FlexFit hats from now on!" 5/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Triumph Flexfit
  • Pros:  flexfit,
  • Cons:  none,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   I play on a softball league and we play up to 4 times a week in hot weather. I always have problems with tight hats once I start to sweat and bigger, baggier hats fit too big on my head. After trying on this FlexFit hat, I will never wear any other hats in the future. They fit very secure and snug and when I start to sweat, it doesn't matter me too much anymore. It is so comfortable!
"Waste of money, better to have a set playlist" 5/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Audex Ipod Rf Control
  • Pros:  good for running, working out,
  • Cons:  controls too small to push when snowboarding,

Experience:   If you have mittens, you will never be able to push the control buttons, I always have to remove my glove to mess around with the buttons which sort of defeats the whole purpose. I just use mine when I go to the gym. This is not a good fit for sking or snowboarding.
"Love it or Hate it" 5/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Analog Crtsian Basic
  • Pros:  Price,
  • Cons:  Too big, Design,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   I bought one just because of the price and believe me, Analog hoodies are comfy and sick. They are a bit on the baggier side so make sure to size down. This one has too many dots and some hate it and some love it. If you are buying it just for the price, go for it. If this isn't on sale, I wouldn't buy it.
"Don't buy it unless it's the last resort" 5/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Flow Delta Scraper
  • Pros:  price,
  • Cons:  cant get good grips, small, not wide

Experience:   This thing is probably about 6 inches wide and it is just not wide enough to scrape your snowboard. When you scrape two sides side by side, the wax gets taken off unevenly. Don't buy it!
"Don't let the price fool you, stay away!" 4/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Dakine Vapor
  • Pros:  none,
  • Cons:  lack of grip,

Experience:   This stomp pad is useless after a run or two. Ice builds up in the holes and it creates absolutely no traction. Look elsewhere before buying this.
"Don't let the price fool you, stay away!" 4/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2005 Dakine Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  none,
  • Cons:  lack of grip,

Experience:   This thing has no grip. If you are looking for a cheap stomp pad, do yourself a favor and buy more expensive one with more grip. This thing is a waste of money!
"They seriously won't work " 4/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Cross Studs
  • Pros:  none,
  • Cons:  small, lack of traction , snow covers them up

Experience:   I bought these for a local store and not only they don't work, they REALLY don't work. If you are riding on new snow days, good luck finding these on your board because snow will cover them up every time. When you do manage to find them on your board, they offer no traction.
"The frena is the only beanie i wear" 10/22/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Coal Frena Solid
  • Pros:  simple, refined style, top headwear brand IMO, thick and comfy
  • Cons:  the durablity is lacking,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • Description:  relaxed, not to loose not to tight

Experience:   ive worn the same beanie for the last two years (coal frena) before getting a new one. all i can say is that the frena line of beanies has the best balance of style, comfort and price
"functional jacket " 6/7/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 686 ACC Syndicate
  • Pros:  Breathable, Durable, Warm
  • Description:  WEATHER: Spring Day, Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day, Snow and Rain Mixed, CHEST: Feels true to size, BODY: Feels true to length, INSEAM: Feels too long,

Experience:   great jacket, looks sick. theres tons of pockets like all 686 jackets. its diffently worth the money
"Burton Idiom Review" 1/1/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Idiom
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Easy in & out, Boot hold, Lightweight, Comfortable, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Tricky instillation
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   these are some sick bindings they are the jappenseessese version of the c02s (i think) anyways the only thing that i dont like about them is that the highback snapped the very first day i used them, which blows get 'em!!!!!!
"warm cushiony socks" 12/3/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Buffer Sock
  • Pros:  they are super warm, i havent had any problems with my feet beeing cold since i got them they dont get "stale" like other dirty socks so after a hard days of riding they dont smell horrible and they arent sweety
  • Cons:  none

Experience:   i would get them again
"uzi" 1/18/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 686 Smarty Uzi Tweed
  • Pros:  this is the best jacket ive had in a while, first of all its extremly warm, it was -35 today and i was toasty as can be. it also has an insane amount of pockets so you can stash anything you have and still have room. and the liner looks very good, so good that i wear the liner by itself
  • Cons:  its a wee bit heavy bit you get used to it

Experience:   great jacket
