"Bern Macon" 1/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Bern Macon EPS Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Excellent price point, Available accessories, Quite warm

Experience:   I recently purchased the Bern Macon and could not be happier with it. It's quite stylish and at the price point I would reccommend this helmet to anyone. It's relatively inexpensive and the foam padding isn't too thick. It doesn't have the zipmold like the Brentwood, but the padding isn't too thick. It does come with ear warmers which work great. Another plus of this helmet is Bern's available accessories for the helmet. Check out the hunters knit. All in all, an excellent helmet that I would recommend to anyone.
"Great Goggles" 11/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Oakley Crowbar
  • Pros:  No fog issues, Looks great, Well made
  • Cons:  medicore fit with my helmet,

Experience:   I've had these goggles for over a year now and after 1 season of hard riding I still love these goggles. I've never had any issue with fog forming while riding and they look great. I absolutely love how they look and fit. My only issue with them is that they don't fit very well with the helmet I currently have. It's more of an issue with looks than with functionality as I still have a great field of vision. I've taken some nasty dumps with these and they're still holding up great. I would highly recommend these goggles to anyone.

  • Name: 2013 Burton Cartel Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Great response, Highly adjustable,
  • Cons:  Ratchet broke,

Experience:   Rode the Cartels for a season and absolutely love them. They are a definite improvement over my old bindings, and I would say are better than most mid-level bindings. The cushioned footbed is great for all day hard riding. The Cartels are a really great all around binding, capable of bombing down the mountain and hitting natural features. I don't hit the park so I can't really tell you how they do there, but they're probably a little too stiff for that. I only gave them 4 stars because my buddy's Cartel lost one of its ratchets (just popped off somewhere on the mountain). I haven't had any issues with them so it might be just one of those things. Would recommend the Cartels to anyone.
"Solid Helmet" 4/14/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Bern Macon Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Good Fit,

Experience:   This is a great helmet. I'm a big fan of the Bern line and this is their entry level helmet. Obviously not as light as their higher end helmets, but a fairly light helmet nonetheless. I would recommend this helmet to anyone, especially if you can grab one on sale.
"Don't bother" 5/27/2010

  • Name: 2005 Dakine Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  you can throw it pretty far,
  • Cons:  poor design, utter crap,

Experience:   Save your money. I don't care if this was free... it's a total waste of money. Very poorly designed, after a few runs the holes will fill up with snow making contact with the stomp pad non-existent. Treat yourself to something better. Stay away from this one.
"Reason why it's a top seller" 5/20/2010

  • Name: 2009 Burton Ak Expedition Thermal Top Men's
  • Pros:  Nice material, Comfortable, Warm
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M

Experience:   This is great for when the weather gets pretty chilly. Or if its warm and you wanna forgo a jacket. I wear it as often as possible its so good. And with the olive pinstripe you'll be cruising the mountain in style. Base layer, mid-layer or on its own, this top will do what you need. Buy it!
