I have owned 2 pairs of Oakley A Frames in my lifetime. A pair of matte black w/ fire iridium polarized lens and a pair of matte black with orange low light lens. Both have been fantastic goggles. They never fog the padding is firm but supportive and the lens are the best. Oakley's run fairly expensive but they make the best lens in the business with Smith following close behind I think.
I work at a resort so polarized goggles are a must for me cause I am out in the sun and snow upwards of 130 days per year. Oakley has the most polarized options for the goggles and their lens are the best.
I highly recommend these goggles and they are certainly worth the money if you can afford them.
Pros: Durable and absolutely water proof, Every feature a good rider needs,
Cons: The fit is a little bit on the baggy side, Zipper needs a bit of time to learn,
Jacket Fit: Just right
My Size: XL
Fits Like: XL
Description: On bit on the baggy side but still a good fit.
A bought this jacket at the end of last season and got to use it a few times. It was the first Gore-Tex piece of apparel I have purchased and it was well worth it. Completely water proof, the right amount and type of pockets, all in the right places; durable and well made being a Sessions jacket; and thin enough to be a shell but also warm enough to insulate you. The fit is a bit baggy for me but I have a bit of an odd body type.
This tool is a great tool to have in your pocket on the mountain. But its size and design don't allow you to get good torque on frozen or overally tighten binding bolts.
It came in a Burton tuning kit I got and I carry it in the pocket of my jacket all the time but I would certainly suggest a Dakine Torque driver over it anyday.
Pros: Great Size, Interchangeable Bits compatible with other brands, Durable
I have owned many generations of this tool and all have been my most trusted board tool. The bits are large and durable and come in all the necessary sizes. I also use it for many other jobs other than snowboarding as it is compatible with many bits. I bought a special star shape bit for my snowboard rack on my car and also use it for my roller blades and skateboards.
Overall excellent tool, not something I would carry in a pocket as it is a bit bulky for that but certainly keep one in a backpack or with your gear wherever you go.
Pros: Great Price, Awesome Design , Great All Mountain Board for the Intermediate Ride
Cons: A bit stiff for beginners,
I bought this board for my girlfriend and she loves it. Awesome design on the top and bottom which is what she really cares about but I bought it for the design.
It is a directional twin and can be rode all over the mountain. It is quite a stiff board and my girlfriend is a beginner which made it bit hard for her to ride at first. She now can ride it with no problem and the stiffness is definitely a benefit.
We have not ridden it in the park yet so I cannot speak for that aspect of the board but I would assume it would do just fine being a high end Forum Directional Twin.
I definitely recommend this board.
These are the pants that we are issued at the resort I work at and they work perfectly year after year. We ride somewhere between 120 and 150 days a season when instructing and these pants keep up with us all season. They are bit long for me but so are most other snowboard pants, but other than that they fit perfectly. Highly recommended pants.
I have owned this backpack for a few years now and it has lasted me every season up until now and into the future. It is very lightweight which is extremely important when riding and has enough space for water, food, camera, and whatever else you might carry.
Name: 2009 Dakine Concourse Single Ski Bag Pink Plaid
Pros: Spacious, Decent Padding,
I bought this bag a few years ago at Snow Jam here in Southern, CA. It has traveled with me all over the Western US and North Western US and has kept my 3 boards as well as my boots, bindings, and a few other accessories safe and protected. Couldn't ask for much more in a bag.
This is a great jacket for the price and I owned last years equivalent from Bonfire. The jacket lasted all season and I never got wet wearing it. It also has all the right pockets and spots to store everything you need for the mountain. Overall Good Jacket.
These pants are great especially for 50% off but they are a bit pricey for the guy who only goes a few times a year. They are very durable and waterproof which you would expect from Helly and Hansen Products. They were a bit long for me but I have a strange body type 240lbs. 5'10.
Pros: Small, Durable, Gets the job done right everytime
I have carried one of these ratcheting tools in my gear bag since I started riding in high school and his one has lasted me until now and into the future. It has interchangeable heads so it has all the necessary driver heads and easily and practically stores them,
I bought this board used from a friend in CO for 75 dollars and I fell in love with it immediately. I bought a 153 from him which is much smaller than I had ever ridden but the board it everything I asked of it. Took me through the park and floated almost as good in powder as my 159 Lib Tech TRS. All Around great board which I would expect nothing left from Rome.
