"The Prophecy" 2/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Prophecy Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Flex, Versatility, Comfort
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I paired these binding with the Sierra Bluebird I won from a giveaway. They are great for a nice powder day, they have enough stiffness and responsiveness to react to fast speed and power carving. However, I took these and threw them on my K2 Weapon to hit some rails and jumps and they were still soft enough to flex around on while buttering down the hill. This just shows how versatile these bindings are and not to mention if I wanted I could throw them on my Burton Process with EST Channel because these bindings can ride any binding pattern. I definitely recommend these binding to anybody looking for a good set of comfortable bindings.
"Super Smooth" 1/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Bluebird Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Off Trail,Powder,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Float, Smooth Landing, POW!!!

Experience:   So, lets just start with a big thank you to sierra (trusnow.com)!!! I won this great board on the daily give away and let me tell you. Moving out to CO and using this board on pow days is amazing. I have a Burton Process that I ride in pow too but this board is super light and floats like a feather. This would be an amazing pick up even if I didn't get lucky enough to win it.
"Best Helmet There Is!!!" 12/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Red HI FI 2 Snowboard Helmet - Men's
  • Pros:  Comfort, Wamth, Freedom!!!

Experience:   This helmet is absolutely incredible. I hated wearing helmets in the past because I could never find one that is comfortable to wear but also comfortable with my goggles. Finally I sprung for this bad boy after reading some reviews and everyone is RIGHT!!! This helmet is warm but no too warm, comfortable all around, adaptable so if you want headphones or a beanie, this helmet is all around great!!! I have unfortunately tested the quality of this too when I had a gnarly wreck and i got up fine as can be. If you ride park, back country, or just want a helmet this is the one for you.
"Burton Bag" 12/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Riders 25L Backpack Men's
  • Pros:  Space, Comfort, Versatility

Experience:   I got this bag and it has been perfect!!! Whether it's packed with books for class, laptop and essentials for a carry on bag on a plane trip, or stuffed with all the essentials need for a day hike to the top of the mountain. This bag holds everything you need and keeps everything nice and dry. Also, having both vertical and horizontal board carry straps is super nice.
"Ante Up!!!" 12/7/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Ante Up Puffy Snowboard Jacket
  • Pros:  Fit, Style, Warmth
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • Description:  Perfect! Not too loose or long.

Experience:   This jacket is super warm and fits great. I normally wear a large but since this is Burton's team fit, which is a little bigger and baggier, I ordered a medium. I was worried about it maybe being too tight around my chest but its nice, in turn it made me worry about layering up, however, it's warm enough that just a couple layers of dryride or hot chillys and it' perfect.
"Comfort, Warmth, Stability" 12/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Awol Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Comfort, Warmth, Stability
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   The title says it all!!! This boot was so comfortable trying on I almost thought it was too good to be true. Then I took this out after buying them and they definitely lived up to the hype. I don't feel like boots are that integral of a piece of riding but this might have me reconsidering that thought.
"Cartel perfectiong" 12/2/2010

  • Name: 2011 Burton Cartel EST
  • Pros:  All Mountain Support, Ease of setup,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   This binding is perfect for anything. All mountain riding or being a park rat all day. The only time you might have any issue is while jibbing the binding is a little stiff but you get use to it.

"AMAZZZZZZZZZING" 11/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Wheelie Locker Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  storage space, travel convenience, TSA can't complain

Experience:   I got this bag because I'm always travelling out West to visit friends and ride. I can fit both my boards, my boots, 2 pairs of jackets and pants, bindings and anything else that you can possibly need for a week away. Big but it feels light with the easy roll wheels and handgrip!! I recommend for anybody needing a big travel bag for everything!!!!
