"Kung Fujas" 12/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 K2 Kung Fujas Skis
  • Pros:  Buttery, Durable, Great Flotation, Smooth Ride,

Experience:   This is a fun playful ski, it is effortless through the bumps and handle crud fairly well. With a significantly rockered tip and tail it is easy to throw this ski around with out worrying about hooking the tips. On groomers the ski holds an edge, as most K2's do. It is not a powerful ski, but plenty of fun with a good centered stance. The biggest downside is the thinner core under foot, and the soft tail. Normally a ski of this design would be great at straight-lining through bumps, however the lack of stiffness through the rear of the ski means that you have to concentrate at staying centered in mixed terrain.

"Red helmets ROCK!" 11/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Red Trace 2 Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Quality gear, Fashionable, Devoted :)

Experience:   PERFECT helmet for skateboarding! (I bought it this september and haven't tried in snow yet) It saved my life several times! This helmet is for extremist fashionistas, who love music )) Warm, safe, good price, coolest color ever, comfortable, exact size match! Any questions?
"The best of the bests!" 11/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 K2 Hellbent Skis Men's
  • Pros:  Durable, Good Carving Ability, Scratch Resistant, Smooth Ride, Great Flotation, Lightweight

Experience:   The 2011 Hellbent is a leap forward from the 2010 Hellbent. There are many differences besides the obvious 1cm added through out. Slight early taper has been added making for a less hooky and smoother ride. However, one of the most important changed is that the 2011 Hellbent is true to length. The benefit of the 2011 Hellbent being true to length is that it decreases swing weight which on top of the fact that k2 shaved weight off the tips allows for faster spinning for jibbing and faster pivoting for tight trees. Another minor change is the new sidewall construction. The new sidewalls are an improvement in that they significantly decrease the top sheet damage. The 2011 Hellbents are also an improvement over the 2010 Hellbent on piste. The 2011 Hellbent will make amazing gs style turns on groomers as long as you ski them from the center instead of from the tip. On ice obviously there are better options however these are good enough at it that you won't be worried too much if you encounter some ice in between powder. Perfect uses : downhill and powder.

"Bible for snowboarders" 11/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Thats It Thats All Travis Rice Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  Good quality, Action,

Experience:   Is it possible to love Snowboarding and have not seen that film? No! Its like a Bible for snowboarders! In 2008(when I fell in love with Travis Rice) I dragged it in my ipod and since then every time I am on a trip, I watch it like I have never watched it before. Its kind of movie that never bores you!
"Chicory blue rules! " 10/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Roxy Torah Bright Womens
  • Pros:  keeps you warm and dry, extremely fashionable, perfect shape
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  it was sewn for me!

Experience:   I always wear men's pants while snowboarding. That is the only women's pants I have. I bought it because of its color( its stunningly beautiful). While buying it I thought that it would be the next barbie thing (like most of the women's pants are) BUT I was wrong! The shape is FANTASTIC! The color is AMAZING! It's WARM! It keeps your as* DRY! Now tell me what else(better) can be expected from the pants intended for snowboarding??
"Duke 16" 12/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 Marker Duke 16 Ski Bindings Large - Men's
  • Pros:  Adjustable, Easy Entry & Release, Good Interface, High Din, Secure heel release, Bomber construction, Great power transmission
  • Cons:  Heavy,

Experience:   The Duke has amazing power and responsiveness. Makes a fat ski feel like a carving tool on hard pack conditions, yet it's quick and easy to use for bc access. Beefy construction mellows out all the rough stuff on wider skis. They are heavy, but what do you expect from this kind of bindings? Any lighter and it would not be durable enough.

"new Gotama" 12/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Volkl Gotama Skis Men's
  • Pros:  Durable, Forgiving, Good Carving Ability, Good Grip, Smooth Ride, Versatility, Vibration Absorbent
  • Cons:  Heavy,

Experience:   This year's Gotama is fully rockered with enough stiffness to carve on the hardpack and bust through the crud. Its rocker allows you to float in the soft snow and slide the ski easily making it quick and playful. If you are looking for one ski to do almost everything, this is a great ski for you. If you are looking for true powder ski that you will only be bringing out on the deepest of days, check out something wider under foot. Best use for all-mountain, downhill
"True big mountain skis" 11/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 K2 Obsethed Skis Men's
  • Pros:  Great Flotation, Smooth Ride, Stable

Experience:   Best uses: Big Mountain, Downhill, Powder. This is a serious upgrade from last year. They fattened 'em up a bit and added some of the Hell Bent tip rocker, thus unleashing a ski of epic proportions. These are definitely some all terrain rip sticks whose versatility is clearly unmatched. Whether you're chargin' steep and deep or just rippin' groomers is good for you!
"Great park ski" 11/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Armada Halo Skis - Men's
  • Pros:  Good Carving Ability, Durable, Good Grip, Scratch Resistant, Smooth Ride

Experience:   The Armada halo makes buttering, rail riding, and jumping so much more fun. the swing weight is incomparable. The geometry of the Halo provides a weight balance that assists in fast, aggressive spinning through the air. The early rise of the tip and tail lessens the likelihood of catching an edge off the lip when setting a hard spin a bit too early. It has perfect lending. I think that is a huge factor for anyone learning new tricks, or trying to perfect old ones. Good for: buttering, carving Off lips, downhill, icy conditions, jumps, landing, moguls, park, presses, racing, rails.
"Rossignol S7 Freeride Skis 2011" 11/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Rossignol S7 Freeride Skis Men's
  • Pros:  Durable, Great Flotation, Turn on a dime

Experience:   These skis are for people who ski hard and face-first and are looking for something that isn't a noodle, but has a fun, powerful, versatile ride. They're stiff and stable under foot and have a bit of side-cut, so they feel like little slalom skis on the groomed and in the bumps. You can do basically everything - butter, bounce, bomb, bonk, backflip and all. Best uses - powder and downhill.

"Mastermind" 11/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Line Mastermind Skis Men's
  • Pros:  good for park, butter,

Experience:   These skis are light and feels like barely any swingweight in the air. They are solid for blocking and skiing all over the mountain on those firmer days.
"Afterbang skis" 11/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Line Afterbang Shorty Skis
  • Pros:  great rail ski, good for butters, great turn radius

Experience:   The afterbang is a great rail and jib ski with a unique construction. It may not be for you if you want to hit really big jumps and do double flips (check out Line's Step Up if this sounds like you), but it is a great, fun ski for shredding around the park.
