"Vonzipper Skylab" 1/4/2013
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Vonzipper Skylab Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  No Fogging , Comfortable, Good Peripheral Vision

Experience:   I bought the 2012 goggles using a coupon I had received from Trusnow. I was impressed with the Vonzipper Skylab goggles from the moment i removed them from the box. Just used them for the first time yesterday out on the slopes. There was no fogging whatsoever. The clarity was very good. They are Definitely a good goggle for those sunny days. The goggles fit pretty well. The fit was pretty snug around the face, but not too snug where it feels like your face is getting crunched together. Overall happy with my purchase. The goggles work well, good for sunny days, very sleek looking, and best of all they were free.
"This shirt is sweet" 10/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2008 Special Blend Fader Icon TShirt
  • Pros:  Sweet design, perfect fit,
  • Cons:  none,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  A little baggy but not overdone

Experience:   This shirt is nice, I like the little design in the middle. I try to find good long-sleeve shirts at a low price and at only 12 bucks this was pretty decent, I'd buy this shirt again any day of the week
"Moderate Flex and a Good Ride." 2/20/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Rome 390 Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Responsive,
  • Cons:  Basepad breaks easily, elastic strap can break the ratchet mechanism,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I got these bindings two years ago. I am an advanced all mountain rider, riding groomers, powder, and park. These bindings have elastic straps on the ankle straps. These elastic straps pull the ankle strap out of the way for stepping into the binding. The problem is when you make the elastic strap really tight it puts more tension on the ratchet system and can cause it to break. The ladder system on my right binding's ankle strap recently broke because of it. I replaced the part, but it hasn't worked right since. I am going to get new bindings because of this. But I got two years out of these bindings so they did me well. Also the basepad has a plastic notch system for adjusting. After making a lot of adjustments and removing the basepad to change my stance, part of the basepad notch system has broken off. Aside from those problems, These bindings felt pretty comfortable to me, but they still had enough stiffness to provide good response and control when needed. There are lots of parts you can adjust for what feels most comfortable.
"Burton Gore-Tex Mitten" 2/6/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton GoreTex Mittens
  • Pros:  Very Warm, Zip pocket for handwarmers and a vent,
  • Cons:  Wrist straps can come untied if you pull too hard.,

Experience:   The Burton Gore-Tex Mitten is a great glove. The fabric making the body of the glove is very light while the GORE-TEX liner insulates very well. When I was out in Colorado it was in the single digits at the top of the mountain. My hands were very warm while wearing the gloves, and I did not even put hand-warmers in the secret zip pockets on top of the gloves. The gloves also have straps to go around your wrists to prevent you from losing them should you take them off on the lift or anywhere else.I bought these in a Large, which is the size I usually buy, and they fit perfectly. They left room for my fingers to move in the mitten, but weren't too lose to fall off. There are also pull straps at the base of the mitten to tighten around your wrist, preventing snow from getting in, and keep warm air in. The straps that go around your wrists for when you take the mittens off are tied together with a knot. sometimes the knot can come undone, but it takes a second to retie them.
"Smith Holt" 2/4/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Smith Holt Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  Light material, washable liner, Vented
  • Cons:  Not slim profile,

Experience:   I bought this helmet two years ago at the last minute, and, after two aggressive years of riding, the helmet has held up pretty well. I wear the helmet when I'm riding in tight tree runs or if I'm in the park. I've taken quite a few bad falls in the park and hit my head. While the material feels light (the shell is made out of a light-weight plastic) and not very strong, The helmet protected me. I haven't found any damages to the helmet after the falls. The helmet is not uncomfortable and I don't notice it when I'm riding, but it doesn't conform to my head, and the helmet doesn't have a slim profile. The helmet doesn't feel snug, but that could just be my head. For the money, I don't think this helmet is bad. If I had had more time to research, I probably would've gone for something different. But the helmet has lasted longer than I expected. It's a good helmet if you're just starting out, and trying to keep all your gear within the budget.

"Good, but not a lot of peripheral view." 9/17/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2013 Oakley Twisted Snowboard Goggles
  • Pros:  Cool looking graphics, Silicon lines on straps,
  • Cons:  narrow vision,

Experience:   I got these goggles as a Christmas gift from my relatives. I do like the design of the frame with its carbon fiber graphic. I also like the silicon lines they put on the inside of the strap to help grip your helmet. However these goggles have a very small frame. It feels like it doesn't cover all of your face. Because the frame is so small, peripheral vision is not there. The lens that comes with it is meant for those cloudy days where it's harder to see the snow. If you're not concerned about having a very wide field of vision, and if you're looking for a cloudy-day goggle, you should consider the oakley twisted goggle. Otherwise, you may want to keep searching.
"DC Refraction Boardshorts" 11/5/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 DC Refraction Boardshorts Men's
  • Pros:  Material feels very light, zipped pocket,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Comfortable, baggy, perfect fit.

Experience:   These boardshorts are pretty comfortable, probably the most comfortable pair i've owned in awhile. I like the pocket that zips as well, since most of the shorts I have owned only have velcro pockets. The material feels very thin, which makes the boardshorts very light.
"Volcom Backpack" 9/9/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Volcom Equilibrium Backpack
  • Pros:  side pockets with a mesh one for bottles, Comfortable straps,
  • Cons:  Bigger than I expected.,

Experience:   I bought this backpack because I was looking for a bag with straps on the back to strap my skateboard to. Those are holding up really well so far. I also like how it has the mesh pocket for bottles. I find it comes in handy. The back pack is very comfortable too. I find that even with quite a few large textbooks in it I hardly notice that I'm wearing it. While it is quite a bit larger than I expected it to be, I am still satisfied. If you're looking for a smaller backpack you might wanna try something else.
"Good tank top" 8/2/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (3) No

  • Name: 2011 Hurley Fairway Tank Men's
  • Pros:  Nice color, Comfortable,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Baggy but comfortable

Experience:   During the summertime I skateboard a lot. So I need some tank tops. Saw this one and got it. I really like it. Very comfortable and durable. The one thing about the shirt (which seems to be the case for everything I buy from here) is a little darker in color than the picture. But still very nice
"A very comfortable tank" 8/2/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (5) No

  • Name: 2012 Vans Glenway Tank Men's
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Comfortable,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  a little baggy but nice

Experience:   I've been impressed with this shirt. When I went out to skateparks to skate it just became to incredibly hot for sleeves. I decided tanktops were the way for me to go. This shirt is incredibly light and so comfortable I stay much cooler when I'm skating around. I plan on getting more tanktops like this for skating in.
"Decent pants" 7/28/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 Foursquare Boswell Snowboard Pants Men's
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Very Insulating, Very Waterproof
  • Cons:  fabric can rip easily if not careful.,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  comfortable and a little baggy.

Experience:   After I bought these pants I went out a week later and i was really impressed. At one point, however, I took a spill and slid on the ice a little, when I got up I notice it had ripped a hole in the knee. It wasn't a very big hole, but a hole nonetheless. Other than that I was impressed with how light and waterproof these pants are, they keep me dry all day long. I highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for pants under 100 bucks. A very good buy
"Pretty Good film" 7/28/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2008 Down With People Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  Great backcountry riding, Nice street footage,
  • Cons:  Music selection could be a little better,

Experience:   I got this dvd as a free gift with another purchase. i really did enjoy it, a lot of really good backcountry footage that was impressive. I think the music selection could've been a little better. but it's ok because the last part in the film played Crosstown Traffic by Jimi Hendrix so I was stoked on that. Overall i would recommend buying it, and if you get it for free that's even better
"All Around Good Belt" 6/12/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2012 Volcom Circle Stone Webbing Belt Men's
  • Pros:  One Size Fits All, Comfortable, Durable

Experience:   I was recently looking for a belt that I could wear when I'm skateboarding because the idea of a shoelace belt seemed pretty ridiculous to me. So I decided to buy this Volcom belt and give it a try. I'm very satisfied with the belt. It's very comfortable. So comfortable to the point where I don't even know I have it on. I've had it for about 3 or 4 months and even after all those months of skateboarding, no tears, nicks, or fraying. I recommend this belt to anyone who is looking for a solid, durable belt that isn't too flashy, but looks good.
"RVCA Weekenders" 5/10/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 RVCA Weekender Shorts Men's
  • Pros:  comfortable material, lightweight, perfect sized pockets,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Perfect. Very comfortable sits nicely at the waist

Experience:   I bought a size 32 of these shorts and they feel great. The shorts fit very comfortably, and the material isn't cotton, so it feels much lighter. the pockets have a reasonable depth, not being too deep where everything jostles around, but not too shallow where my belongings fall out. the shorts are much more tan than in the picture, which is one thing to keep in mind. overall i'm impressed with the shorts and I highly recommend them.
"Great Skate Shoes" 5/3/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2012 Adidas Campus Vulc Skate Shoes
  • Pros:  Long Lasting Grip, Good Durable Material, comfortable once broken in
  • Cons:  uncomfortable when first out of the box,

Experience:   I bought these shoes a couple months ago and I am thoroughly impressed. When you first get these shoes and put them on they might be a little uncomfortable. I recommend bending them around in your hands for about 15 minutes before putting them on. But after that, they are a great skate shoe, I've been skating in them for the past 2 months 4 times a week, and the grip is still fresh like new. On top of that the material the shoe is made out of is very durable as well. I'd recommend this shoe to any skater who is looking for a shoe that will last and likes a vulcanized sole rather than a cup sole.
"Solid Boot." 1/6/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Invader Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Very Warm, Soft Flex, Durable
  • Cons:  A little snug,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   These boots are probably the best snowboarding boots I own. I spend hours walking up the terrain park, and countless runs on the mountain, and they still look good as new. Pretty flexible which improves the comfort. They are a little snug for my feet, but they are so warm that I don't even worry about wearing thick wool socks. If you like wearing a thick sock maybe try getting one size up, otherwise this boot is great.
"Coen skate shoes....ok...." 11/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 DVS Coen Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  Suede material, lots of padding,
  • Cons:  rip fast, low grip life,

Experience:   I had these shoes for about 3 days and on the 4th day they had already started ripping when I went out to skate. The grip wears out after the first week or two. On the other hand, these shoes use suede, which grip the skate deck very well, which is probably why it ripped so fast. There is also a lot of padding in the sole, makine it very easy on the feet when it comes to the stairsets. if you want a cheap pair of shoes that will last you for about 3 weeks, then look no further.
"Cool Beanie" 11/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 Foursquare Corpo Beanie
  • Pros:  Warm,
  • Cons:  A little snug,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  It's a little snug, but I never really notice.

Experience:   I like the design of this beanie, and it keeps my head warm. However sometimes when I'm skating or snowboarding, the beanie is a little bit snug which moves my earbuds and makes my music sound bizarre. I usually adjust that then I'm good to go. Overall a good hat
"Good Shoe." 10/31/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2011 ES Square Two Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  good crisp grip, light, comfortable

Experience:   I've had these shoes for about a week. skated every day and the grip is still like brand new. very grippy. This shoe is so light I feel like I'm skating barefoot. I've been doing a bunch of flip tricks for the past week and theses shoes still haven't ripped at all. I thought this was a very sturdy shoe.
"Very NIce!" 2/28/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (6) No

  • Name: 2010 Sessions M Dazed Pipe Gloves
  • Pros:  Good Grip, Fairly Warm, Inexspensive

Experience:   I bought these gloves about a week ago and I love them. I like wearing these more than the super puffy ones. They have plenty of grip and for the price I have no cons.
"Rome 390 is really good!" 12/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Rome 390 Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Extremely comfortable, easy adjustments, Pretty good price
  • Cons:  None,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Before these bindings I had 5150's, and boy were these a step up. I bought these bindings from Sierra and I love them to death. These bindings have no pressure points so I barely even noticed that I'm strapped in half the time. There are many options for this binding when it comes to making adjustments to fit your riding style. I got this binding for about $200 which i thought was pretty reasonable. The only issue i had with the binding was that the bolts that came with it were a little too short, so i had to remove the rubber piece that sits underneath the binding. after that it fit perfectly. Overall I'm very happy with this binding and I would highly recommend this to any rider of any skill level, advanced or novice.
"Pretty Good Hat!" 10/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Slidestyle Flexfit Cap
  • Pros:  flex-fit band, durable visor,
  • Cons:  a little pricey,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  the fit is perfect

Experience:   I got this hat for free with the purchase of a shirt, so that was probably one of my personal pros, but overall i really like it. It is a little expensive but since I got it for free i didn't really have to worry about that.
"Good Replacement" 10/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Gravis Lowdown Slip On Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  Lightweight, durable,
  • Cons:  a little tight,

Experience:   I bought this shoe because i like wearing sneakers, but I go to a private high school where you can't wear sneakers. Fortunately I got them in brown and I get away with them so I'm satisfied. They look great, are very light, and have lasted me a long time. They are also affordable too. I wear a size 11 and my toes don't really have a lot of toe room, but other than that I love this shoe.
"A Sweet Jacket!!!!" 9/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Quiksilver Last Mission Snowboard Shell Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  Sweet design, Very warm,
  • Cons:  none so far,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  It's got a little bagginess to it, which is what i like

Experience:   My parents bought this jacket for me for my birthday and I'm glad they did, this jacket is so sick! I have a good thermal that I wear underneath it but some days I don't even need to wear the thermal. This jacket is very warm. I never was a huge Quicksilver fan but I am now because of this jacket!
"So good" 9/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Mission
  • Pros:  inexspensive, very sturdy, easy setup
  • Cons:  a little uncomfortable,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I got the chance to take this binding down the mountain on a Capita Stairmaster and I was very impressed with the quality of this binding. This is a great binding for people just coming into the sport. The binding does have a few pressure points and is a little bit uncomfortable in some spots, but that won't really be very important to the beginner rider who is looking for a binding that is going to last him awhile
"A Very Good Board" 9/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Rome Machine
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Park,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Nice pop and flex, Wide Board, Twin Shape
  • Cons:  impact plates add some weight,

Experience:   I got this board last year for 200$ on sierra, and it was probably one of the best purchases I ever made. I wear a big-sized boot, so having a wide board is a must, but I also like to shred the park as well as the rest of the mountain. This board is a great park board. It's got a nice flex for doing nose and tail presses, and yet it still manages to maintain some hardness on big jumps and kickers. There are impact plates inside the board for reducing the shockwave from jibbing, however this adds some weight to the board. Other than that I really have no complaints. I put this as an intermediate board because it's fairly well-priced and it's good if you are a moderate skill level, but I would also recommend this to any advanced rider, especially if they have big feet.
