"Gets Work Done" 12/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Poacher Snowboard Pant
  • Pros:  Zip up pockets, Mesh Vents on the Inside Legs, Adjustable waistband
  • Cons:  ...not many, not insulated (who cares? wear long john's), only one cargo pocket (who cares...)
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Loose, just like any snowboard pant

Experience:   Awesome pant, warm, very water resistant. Sizing - if your in-between sizes def go with the down size. I wear a medium normally. My waist is about a 30 and the Med is loose around me. But i think a small would be too short in the legs. Nice zip up pockets and the insides of the pockets are nice and fuzzy and warm:) Pretty durable so far, I've hit my knees on the ice in my back yard I don't know how many times. I thought they ripped but nothing, not a scratch. The bottoms of the legs are nice cause they have a stretchy waist band type thing that is wrapped in a rubber/silicone so the snow and water don't get up in your pants and boots which is probably the most over-looked thing but I think its the most helpful. Who wants a bunch of snow on there ankles and feet to freeze them and ruin their day? The cargo pocket has this nice double Velcro goin so your wallet or whatever valuables you have don't slip out or fly out when you eat the snow. There's also an ID pocket in there so when they find your body they can tell who you are:) haha. The normal side pockets also have a little cut out hole to run your ipod headphones thru which is great for hiding your headphone cord if your resort doesn't allow you to listen to music when you ride (this is the case at my local ski resort, it sucks but whatever). Overall I highly recommend this product esp at the unbelievably low price!

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Cool Tool
  • Pros:  easy, fast, durable
  • Cons:  hurt if you fall on it,

Experience:   this is a nice cheap little tool that wont take up much in your backpack. wouldnt suggest carrying a tool in your pocket anyway cause never know where its gonna go when you fall. i'd recommend finding this tool in a package, with a leash wax stompy etc.

  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Reverse Crew Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Park,Powder,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Quality, Good Price, Sweet Design

Experience:   a friend let me try this board up at the local mountain and it was a really fun ride. handled everything great, rather fast but thats a plus. i also ride a 155 never summer and its slower than most boards, that might have been why it felt so fast. i might be looking at getting one of these boards soon. sounds like everyone loves these boards and they seem pretty easy to come across for an even better price seeing as they give 5 or more away for free every week. look around in the forums, someones always selling one. recommended to more intermediate boarders cause theres a lot you can do with this guy...A+

  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L

  • Cons:  not the warmest,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L

"Nice little tool" 12/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Mega Blaster Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  easy to use, handy, not too big
  • Cons:  not very secure,

Experience:   picked this kid up from the local shop at a discounted price, first thing i noticed was the head compartment which looks unsecure but if you keep it in a bag its not much to worry about. looks durable despite that one guy saying it broke on the first twist:( he must have been pretty pissed off to do that. treat it with care and it'll treat you well. if you dont like carrying around a screw driver then this thing will do the trick!
"Pretty Cool" 12/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Flow Trilogy
  • Pros:  Easy In, Flexible, Sleek
  • Cons:  If you like toe bindings this prob not your thing,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   my friend just picked these up on his rossignol board, they were really easy to get into which i enjoyed when he let me try it out. pretty soft flex, i wrecked on a ramp and they forgave me thankfully! recommend to intermediate riders i guess, i like strap in more but thats just personal preference. Before you spend this much on a binding, kno what you want.

  • My Size:  M

"Sexy Wax" 12/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Nitrous Wax 3oz
  • Pros:  Easy On, Good Smell, Durable
  • Cons:  Hot waxing is a pain...,

Experience:   just got done hot waxing my board for the first time and it looks nice and slick, can't wait to board it tomorrow. I recommend this stuff to more advanced riders or boarders who know what they are doing. you can mess up pretty easy when you hot wax, but its def cheaper than paying your boardshop to do it. nice buy
"Amazing Stompy" 12/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Dakine Mountain Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Spiky, Nice Grip, Cool Looks
  • Cons:  Not One,

Experience:   I got these for xmas, my burton air logo stompy was kinda weak. These did the job so much better i love them. white grey doesnt stand out which i like and they aren't too big so they don't cover my board's graphic! recommended to anyone, they are very cheap so pick em up with all the CHRISTmas cash!

Fits as it should and all the ladies will migrate your way so watch out! but seriously, this is a great hoodie i would recommend to anyone, esp DC lovers
"Good First Binding" 12/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Morrow Invasion Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Cheap, easy install, Looks good
  • Cons:  not as forgiving, kinda stiff,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   My friend got these bindings as part of a package and i tried them out. they are pretty stiff, i think if you were to eat it bad enough it would really hurt, but other than that they are good bindings for begginners. they give you sufficient control and they look pretty slick. If i could find a good deal on a little more forgiving binding i would go with them. recommended for begginners

  • Pros:  Nice look, Alot of Control, cheap!
  • Cons:  not very fast,

Experience:   My friend got this board in a package and he loves it, i tried it out and i noticed it isnt very fast, but you do have alot of control. i would recommend to any begginner or anyone lookin for a nice cheap board.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Special Blend Clas Stk Red L/S Shirt Men's
  • Pros:  Awesome design, Long Sleeve, Awesome Brand
  • Cons:  Can't get the girls off me when i wear this,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Perfect

Experience:   This shirt is def a good buy, esp if you have a member discount on it. fits perfect, very comfy and its an awesome design by a great brand. i love long sleeves, and i would recommend getting the black, if your gonna be boarding in it in the back yard then you might get muddy. (thats just my backyard) and when its super cold outside a black tee is alot warmer than a white. Recommended to everyone!
"Little Baggy" 12/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton All Day Long Beanie Men's
  • Pros:  long, warm!, soft, comfy
  • Cons:  baggy,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Little Baggy, but i guess its better than too tight

Experience:   this beanie is really warm but its a little baggier than most i'v had. but i guess thats the style and it fits well when wearing your favorite goggles. i would recommend it, and its better than those beanies that are tight as spandex. for the price its worth it. also very warm, actually surprisingly warm and soft. this beanie doesn't actually itch like most others do as time goes on.
"Nice Kit" 12/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Deluxe Snowboard Kit
  • Pros:  Everything You Need, Easy, Organized
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   I got this when i got my board. came with everything i needed, wax, a scrapper, stomp, lock, everything. The lock is a very good idea, never know who is gonna take your board. no matter how much you might think it sucks someone would take it. I recommend this to anyone who hates carrying a bunch of junk in their pockets. this also organizes your pack b/c everything has a pocket. Cheap price too, get it!

  • Name: 2011 Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Park,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Easy to ride, Magne Edges, Twin Rocker
  • Cons:  Are there any?,

Experience:   Can this board be any better? unless it served as a girlfriend, no. Easy to ride with its magne edges, makes turning too easy. Easy, smooth ride with its banana technology, I'm gonna have to get one for myself very soon. It may be expensive but its worth every penny so go ahead and add to cart my friend. this board handles anywhere in any snow so go ahead and take it on the ice and powder, park and slopes. If you want to learn more about this board, visit lib tech's website and read all about it. i wouldn't buy off their site though, its def cheaper here!
"Not Bad My Friend" 12/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Afterburner Paste Wax
  • Pros:  Easy On, A Caveman Can Do It!,
  • Cons:  Doesn't last like a hot waxing,

Experience:   Everyone hates on this wax but its so simple, just rub it on and your good to go. So when your friends forget to wax their boards, and your at the top of a run you can just pull out your handy dandy paste wax and show them whats what. All temp is good, i board on man made snow so it does its job. I would still get my board hot waxed though, this shouldn't be the only waxing you give your baby. Its cheap too, so i'll recommend this to mountain riders
"Vur Nice Bindings I must Say" 12/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Salomon C Force Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Forgiving when you wreck, Nice looks, Easy snap in, snap out
  • Cons:  Ankle strap is a bit short...,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   Nice sold bindings, forgiving when you wreck, flexible yet durable and stable. everything is adjustable, yet even when your ankle strap is to the longest adjustable option, it is a little short. This doesn't affect your ride it just requires a little more effort to strap in, no biggie though! Easy to strap in and get out, very light bindings. I would recommend this product to park riders since they purty light and flexible (and if you wreck you want some forgiveness)
"Solid Boots" 12/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 DC Phase Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Nice looking, Warm, No leaking!
  • Cons:  Old style lacing (does it really matter?), no others....,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   I got these boots off a friend for like 55 bucks (not sure he knew what he was doing haha) but buying them here is still a great deal, i just got super lucky! They haven't leaked on me so far, lacing isn't really a big deal. They don't rub and give blisters like the crappy boots you rent at places. They aren't super stiff but not super loose, they are firm. Which is good, thats what i look for, and thats what you need. Sizes run like Nike's, and if they don't fit just return them. I'm sure trusnow has a good return policy and it wouldn't be too much of a hassle. Overall, Highly recommend this quality product!
"Cool, Good Leash" 12/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Convert Snowboard Leash
  • Pros:  Stylish, Strong, Easy to buckle, unbuckle
  • Cons:  none...,

Experience:   I got this leash cause my mountain has a leash rule, understandable to me cause i watched my friend almost slice a kid'd neck with his board...the only reason it didn't happen was cause he had his feet still in the bindings...if it was a runaway board it coulda been messy. Very easy to buckle, and unbuckling is cool cause you just squeeze slightly and it pops off by itself, no hassle. Its as simple as it gets. If your mountain has a leash law get this leash!
"Goodish" 12/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Air Logo Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  See Through, clear, Cheap!, Stylish
  • Cons:  Not enough grip, Doesnt hold very well in deeper snow/powder, Kinda time consuming to attach

Experience:   I bought this pad mainly because it was cheap and looked cool. My snowboard has its design only between the feet, where you would put the stomp pad so i was mainly worried it would block the design. There was nothing to worry about, its so clear and see through you hardly notice its there. Its not too big, not too small, perfect size. It doesnt have that sharp spike grip like alot of people want but its not like your going to be using it to ride all the way down a slope on...it serves its purpose, to get off the lift in one piece. I recommend heating up the bottom of the pad and the surface of your board where you want to apply, and stand/press it on there for maybe 8-10 minutes. I would recommend a Dakine with the little spikes, or go with this one if you like the design. I don't think it matters, Stomp pads are the least important thing to me
