Pros: Traditional Lace, 3d molded tongue, tongue tension
Shoe Size: 8
Boot Size: 8
Really responsive boot. I loved the traditional lacing system with the tongue tension system really holds your foot in the boot. There is so much tech in this boot for the price!
1)3d molded tongue
2)stage 4 liner
Great directional snowboard, a little bit longer nose and tail but not too much nose.So you can ride it either setback or more twinish. Does it all, great board to slay the whole mountain. Sintered base, very fast board and super poppy!
These bindings do exactly what they're supposed to do. Easy to install and the quality materials is great.
Flex is great for a entry level binding. I have ridden a few price point bindings and they usually do not give enough support but these do the job!
Ultra lightweight freestyle performance, rebound heel absorber, contour highback, hyperlight ankle strap, hyperflex convertible toe strap which they made even better then the previous seasons!
Classic look! You get what you pay for and these are worth every penny. I like the adjustable waist feature, realy comfortable and anough room for some base layers.
The only down fall that I saw was that the zippers for the pant cuffs always fall and don't stay zipped but not a big deal.
I borrowed a pair of Drake Reload (non Risto) bindings and thoroughly enjoyed them. They are super comfortable and easy to adjust to your liking. They have a very similar feel to the Burton Cartels that I used to ride several years ago. The only thing I did not like what that they were a bit softer then my Drake Reload Risto bindings. Other then that they are a great binding for the price.
Drake has 20 years under their belt and make quality gear.
I demo'd these.
So quick and easy to use than most bindings. the ride wedgie system takes a lot of pressure off my knees, ankles and hips.
Super easy to adjust due to tool-less adjustments, I would totally recommend this binding.
Classic all mountain freestyle board. I rode it pre-season so there wasnt much to ride it on but when I charged it was awesome. So much more stable them a rocker deck. Edge to edge was a little slower then I am used to but over all this board was awesome. I want a Flatline board to be my next board.
I never rode Northwave boots until I bought these and I was so happy with my purchase. I had tried on so many different boots over the course of the summer to which none felt as comfortable as these! There easy lace system is effortless and doesn't hurt your hands. The 360 ankle hold keeps your heel lift to a minimum.
First thing a noticed when I picked up this board was how light it was. Really fun when going edge to edge and great for jumps. Mid flexing board made for sticking landings easier. The TBT made it easier to correct your landing if you didn't land perfect. The flex makes presses a little harder but all you have to do is put a little more weight into it.
Great edge to edge
Nice and forgiving (TBT)
I picked these up for my wife a few days ago and she LOVES them! She was on an older pair of Drake bindings and she said she can't believe she waited so long to upgrade. These Drake Jade's have treated me awesome. The super comfy padding on the ankle strap and the toe caps instead of over the toe straps make a big difference compared to my older bindings
Flateline is the best of both worlds in my opinion. I still love camber but I can't really stand reverse camber so this is a happy medium. Great for holding an edge while charging the whole mountain. A little slow edge to edge but still manageable. Rode this board mostly on groomed trails but it handled everything I could throw at it with ease.
Flatline is the perfect compromise for someone looking for a board that is more forgiving then camber but not as loose as reverse camber.
I would highly recommend this board to the all-mountain rider.
This shoe looked great from the start, the simple colorway was right up my alley. Really comfortably and they were really easy to break in. These shoes skated great. Even though they didn't last long.
The board feel was great, you could feel the concave of your board.
Name: 2012 Airblaster Airgoggles Airpill Logo Goggles Men's
Pros: Price, Fit, Colorways
Cons: Hook on strap,
I just received a pair in the mail today. The fit is amazing because f the fact that the frame is so formfitting. The lens I got was the grey chrome which will be awesome on sunny/bright days.
So far the only thing I dislike about the goggle is the hoot on the strap, it isn't the biggest problem in the world but a little uncomfortable. But if it bothers me that much I will swap out the strap for a different on,
Name: 2009 Thirty Two Lashed Snowboard Boots Men's
Pros: Price, Arch Support, color-ways
Shoe Size: 8
Boot Size: 8
If you are looking for an affordable, light weight, medium flex boot, give the 32 Lashed a try. With many of the features of more expensive boots for half the price, the Lashed is a great option for pretty much any type of rider.
I finally got my Malavitas restricted version. I feel like the thing is alive under my feet. I can’t believe how much can more suitable bindings change the whole board, it’s much more flexy and it’s so much easier to press it really hard.
I'll add some info after I get to some park riding.
Name: 2012 Capita Defender Of Awesome Snowboard DVD
Pros: Creative, Fun, Behind the scenes with the riders
Cons: Some parts aren't great,
I bought this video from a somewhat local shop just because of Scott Stevens and his part did not disappoint. Kimura and Brisse also did not disappoint. Bottom line is the movie is well worth $19.95
Pros: Fit, A Commitment to Sustainability, Hiekki Sorsa
Cons: Length ,
Pant Fit: Just right
My Size: XL
Fits Like: XL
Description: Just right!
Perfect fit not too tight not too baggy. I put length as a con because I am short and these are a little long but I am used to it. Like I said for the Bond Civil jacket, how can you go wrong with a company that has A Commitment to Sustainability
Description: Perfect, I dislike when jackets say XXL but fit like a L
This jacket fits perfectly! I dislike when jackets say XXL but fit like a L. Plus you cant go wrong with a a company that Eddie Wall, TJ Schneider and Heikki Sorsa ride for.
NO one really rides this company and it is such a shame because Bond has A Commitment to Sustainability
I have had a countless number of Vans Authentics in the last 5 years. You really can not go wrong with these shoes from all the colorways that they offer to the comfort that they offer. I highly recommend these shoes to men or women.
But really can all the skaters from the 70's be wrong?
This is a fun video to watch, the line up is sick.
Simon Chamberlain, Joe Sexton, ZAC MARBEN, Bryan Fox and Austin Smith to name a few.
If you want a fun to watch, entertaining video this is the video for you
Name: 2012 Drake Reload Risto Snowboard Bindings Men's
Pros: Feel, Comfort,
Cons: Only one colorway,
I just used these for the first time the other day. I am so glad that I came back to Drake bindings. I thought they were gone but they are not!
These bindings feel like my Union Force bindings but they have better straps.
You can not go wrong with this video. The way Volcom is SO artistic in the way they make this video is amazing!
Gigi's riding is great! Its a shame that Burton dropped Gigi hut was a good change for him. It opens so many great opportunities for him as a rider
I bought these for when I started to ride with a helmet but I dint not like the way they felt. None of the different earbuds fit me correctly.
For others they may work great but they are not for me.
Name: 2009 Skullcandy Gift Pack Gold Icon Headphones/Bandana/Blinger Necklace
Pros: Fit, Price, Sound
These are great headphones for the price! I have 2 pairs just because I found a second pair for the right price (there was no need to get another pair.) These are very durable, they take a fall and keep on going. I also used them for biking and they were great!
I used to wear Red helmets a few years back and loved them but stopped. I just pick a 2011 and it fits perfect. The goggle fit with Dragon DX's is pretty good! Haven't had it on the hill let but it seems like it will be awesome!
I tried my friends Contrabands out for a few days and they were nice just not for me. I am not sure what it was but I wouldn't buy these. A lot of people like them, I just felt that they needed more. I felt some uncomfortable toe pressure
I demoed this board last season and I really like it. I havent ridden a Burton in a few years now and I am not sure why. they are great equipment. I just dont like that you cant use any bindings either then Burton with it (its been like that for a while though)
I rode this boot for 2 seasons and loved them. They just broke in too fast and packed out. But for the price you can't go wrong. They are supper comfortable and supportive without being too stiff.
