"Decent liner" 12/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Powerstretch Liner
  • Pros:  warm, good grip,
  • Cons:  Bad stitching quality,

Experience:   This is actually a decent quality liner. Its not too thick or too thin. It had great grip, sometime too much that its hard to get into gloves. It made a bit hard to get in gloves that are bulkier. Recommend trying on a size bigger gloves if you are goign to wear it with this liner. Its not as comfortable as I thought due to the bad stitching quality. Other than that, a decent liner.
"Keeps me pretty warm" 1/1/2011

  • Name: 2009 Hot Chillys Peachskin Fly Bottom
  • Pros:  warm, moisture wicken,
  • Cons:  none,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Loose skin fit, but still warm

Experience:   This is a great base layer as it is loose fitting, and yet able to keeps you warm. The material from chilly isnt itchy as some of the material you see in other base layers (Polarmax). It has a smooth silky feel to it. Although it is a bit loose, its still can keep you warm through out the day. Overall great buy, its a bit expensive. But if you can catch it on sale, its completely worth it.
"Decent Liner for those with Cold Fingers" 1/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Storm Fleece Liner
  • Pros:  warm, good grip,
  • Cons:  Uncomfortable,

Experience:   This liner is pretty similar to Burton Liner that usually comes with the higher end glove. Its a thin layer with lined fleece and a rubber like grip coding. Its a decent liner, just that the stitching is a bit uncomfortable, I have yet to find a liner with comfortable stitching. If you are going to guy these, make sure they fit snug to your hand, otherwise its going to be very hard to fit it in your gloves.
"Great Socks" 1/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Buffer
  • Pros:  Warm, dry all day, non itchy,
  • Cons:  Furry after wash,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Snug, fits like a glove

Experience:   I was first skeptical about these socks, but after trying them on I was pretty convinced they are pretty similar to my Smartwool PhD socks. The sock kept me warm all day, while being dried at the same time. It fitted comfortably without being too tight and its not as itchy as some of the socks I have tried in the past. I recommend hand washing these instead of throwing in the washing machine.
"Good Google" 12/31/2010

  • Name: 2009 Oakley A Frame Snowboard Goggles
  • Pros:  No fog, optical clarity,
  • Cons:  small peri vision,

Experience:   I have used A frame for many years. This is one of the best goggle out there. It rarely fog up. The opitical clarity on these lense are second to none since its from Oakley. I find that this goggle has a reduced periperhal vision (mostly bottom vision). The lens from oakley are also easy to scratch. Other than that, great over all lens
"One of the best looking pad" 12/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2006 Dakine Mountain Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  small, two of them, stickie ,
  • Cons:  color may not match with board,

Experience:   This is one of the best looking stomp pad I have been in the while. When I first open it, the rubber quality was pretty good and seem to be durable. There are only a limited amount of color so it may or may not matches your board color. I had a decent grip on this getting of the lift, not amazing, but not terrible. Over all good buy!.
"Cool looking Hat!" 12/30/2010

  • Name: 2009 Burton Slidestyle Flexfit Cap
  • Pros:  Quality, burton logo,
  • Cons:  loose around head band area,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Good fit, a bit loose around the bottom

Experience:   The fit of this hat is pretty similar to a baseball cap. It has an elastic band underneath, around the edge area. Its a very classy looking hat, nothing to wild of a graphic and can be worn casually out. The logo stitching is very thick, with a nice quality feel to it. Get it if you have spare $.
"Great for Waterproofing " 12/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Nikwax Paste Wax - Tube 4.1fl oz
  • Pros:  Waterproof, restore gloves softness,
  • Cons:  Wears off, messy,

Experience:   When I bought my Burton AK Guide, it came with a sample of Nikwax leather paste. The product works great for restoring the buttery feel to the gloves, additionally it also add waterproofing to it as I can see the water rolling off of the glove after applying it. The downside is, its a bit messy to put it on (tip: use gloves), and it lighten the color of my leather a bit. Try apply it to a small unnoticeable area first before going all out. Other option you may consider is Hestra leather ointment.

  • Name: 2010 Smartwool Phd Snowboard Ultra Light Socks Men's
  • Pros:  Low profile, dry,
  • Cons:  can get cold,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Perfect fit

Experience:   These are decent socks, its a bit on the thin side. You might get a bit cold feet in them. Its better to wear them for spring riding. I didnt have problem with wet feet in them as oppose to my cotton socks. Great buy, only problem I have with it is after the wash, it will get a bit furry. I would just hand wash these instead.
"One of the Best Pants" 12/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Sessions Rocket
  • Pros:  Gore tex, sealed seams,
  • Cons:  No intergration,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  It bit on the baggy size, but not overly

Experience:   Sessions make some of the best clothing gears. I live out in North West area, and its wet most of the time, having gore-tex is a must. I was completely dry in this pants, however a bit cold since its not insulated. I recommend wearing an extra fleece layer. This goes perfectly with the sessions ballistic jacket. However, it doesnt have zip in compatibility. Was disappointed since the jacket was designed to go with the pants. Overall great pants.
"Works Great!" 12/28/2010

  • Name: 2009 Nikwax TX Direct Spray-On 150ml
  • Pros:  Restore everything to new, easy spray ,
  • Cons:  Bad smell,

Experience:   This particular product is good for gear with wicking liners. So its best for insulated jacket or pants. The application pretty easy, just spray on and spread it around. Be prepare to smell it, it has a sour milky smell to it, similar to rotten milk. I recommend to apply two light layers.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Oakley A Frame Replacement Lens
  • Pros:  CLarity, no fag,
  • Cons:  A bit small,

Experience:   Oakley offer some of the best lens in the industry. I have never have any problems with my oakley Hi yellow lens. It maybe fog a bit when you bend down, but it will quickly go away once you have enough air circulated. One thing I dont like about Oakley is that its easily scratch if you dont take care of it. I have hair line scratch on my goggle, however you will not notice the vision differences with the scratches. Overall great lens, a bit expensive however.

"Huge and Sleek" 12/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Smith I/O
  • Pros:  Peri vision, huge, sleek,
  • Cons:  huge, not good for small faces,

Experience:   First off, this is a great looking goggle. It has a very sleek design with minimal mainframe. The padding on this goggle wont be as thick as those that you see on Oakley's but still comfortable. The gap underneather the nose area might be a bit high for some people. However the foam will eventually conform to your nose over time. One of my favorite thing on this goggle is the on/off clip at the back. It may be a disadvantage for helmet with a goggle clip at the back as it can interfere with it. Overall, great goggle!

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Key Lock
  • Pros:  Protect your board, keys,
  • Cons:  keys,

Experience:   I actually own both the burton board lock and Dakine, and can say that the dakine version is a bit more durable than my burton lock. It comes with keys, that may or may not be attractive to some people since you have to keep them in your pocket. This is definitely a good investment, something under 20$ to protect your $200+ board and binding is a no brainer. I encourage everyone to buy it, it my not be completely 100% foolproof, but at least it will deter those who wants to steal your goods.

  • Name: 2009 Burton AK Guide
  • Pros:  Leather, gore-tex, waterproof,
  • Cons:  A bit bulky,

Experience:   Great overall gloves, very similar to the burton gore tex under. It also comes with a liner and sample nikwax leather care. Its very hard to fit the glove with the liner unless you buy a size bigger. I personally use it without liner with enough warmth. The leather on this glove also add extra waterproof and breathability. Overall great gloves!!!

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gig Bag
  • Pros:  Padded, compact,
  • Cons:  no wheels,

Experience:   I used this bag before switching to a wheelie gig bag. If you are planning to use this bag for airline travel, I advise you to buy a burton wheelie gig. The wheelie version is pretty much the same as this bag but with wheels. Would be a good bag for road travel since it is more compact. Overall great, simple bag.

  • Name: 2010 Burton Midweight Neck Warmer
  • Pros:  Warm, versitile, can be stuffed in to pocket,
  • Cons:  Fog up goggle. ,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Perfect, maybe a bit loose

Experience:   This is a very versatile accessories, it can be both as a neck warmer and a facemask. Very easily to breath since its not very thick. To get an idea, its as thick as a thick t-shirt or a thin glove liners. If you wear you goggle over the mask, it can however cause it to fog up, but its not a big issue as it can be easily solved. This item is a must have for sure.

"Great All-around Board" 12/24/2010

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Reverse Crew Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  FUN FUN FUN, effortless turn, great for powder,
  • Cons:  Topsheet Scratches easily,

Experience:   I absolutely love this board. Extremely fun to ride on, and very hard to catch your edge on it. You can feel when you going to catch an edge and can correct it quick enough. Very easily to turn/switch riding. Its different from camber board, the roll just roll into a turn. One thing I dont like about the board is the top sheet scratches and chip off very easily. As long as it doesnt mess with how the board ride, im okay with it. If you are looking for an all around board, this is one of the best board to get for under $300.

  • Name: 2009 Burton Cable Lock
  • Pros:  Deter thief, combination to open,
  • Cons:  Can be weak,

Experience:   Over all great lock, it wont completely prevent your board from being stolen but it will at least slow whoever tries to steal your board. I love this lock because it doesnt require a key to open, plus it can fit you are jacket pocket. The lock appear to be a bit weak, not its to be expected from something this small in size. Good investment.

  • Name: 2010 Dakine Bronco Snowboard Gloves - Men's
  • Pros:  Looks great, low profile,
  • Cons:  COLD,

Experience:   One thing I hate about glove is that its bulky, this glove as the perfect combination of bulk. Its pretty low profile, so its ideal for spring riding. My hand got a bit cold in them while siting on lift. They are completely waterproof as they are Gore-tex. Consider buying a liner with this glove if you are going to buy.

  • Pros:  Warm, water proof, fast lacing,
  • Cons:  can get numb, some pressure points,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  8

Experience:   This is one of the best boot I have ever owned. Great support, even with stock footbed. The lacing system allow me to get in and out quick, however it can be a pain when you want to adjust it. You have to adjust it a few times to get it right. Its hard to put the pulling strap into the boot slot. Other than that, great all around boot.

  • Name: 2011 Burton AK 2L Cyclic Snowboard Pant Men's
  • Pros:  Gore-Tex, adjustable waist,
  • Cons:  Expensive, Okay construction,
  • Pant Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  A big baggy

Experience:   I got this pant for a good deal at the burton store. The fit of the pant is a bit baggy. Its a simple pant with not a lot of bells and whistle. No insulation, so it does get pretty cold if its under 10 degree. I dont know if the construction of this pant is made to last for a very long time. If you can get this on sale go for it. Otherwise I dont think its worth 299 retail as suggested.
"Another Great Goggle from Oakley" 11/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Oakley Splice Goggles Jet Black/Black Iridium
  • Pros:  No fog, looks great, good peri vision,
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   This is just another great goggle from oakley. Its very similar to Aframe except it has better peripheral vision. It also fit better for larger face in my opinion. The goggle is more similar to crowbar than Aframe. I never had any fogging issue with this goggle. In term of style, it has mixed opinion from some people. You either like it or you dont. Another great alternative to the aframe and crowbar.
"Great Overall Google" 11/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Oakley A Frame
  • Pros:  No fog, good for smaller face,
  • Cons:  periperhal vision,

Experience:   This is one of my favorite goggle years after years. Its the few goggle that actually fit my face. The goggle has great ventilation system for reducing fog. The lense can be changed for day/night time riding. One thing I dont like about the goggle but can live with is the peripheral vision. Its not as good as my smith i/o but its not a big issue. Other than that, great all around google with good durability.

  • Pros:  Wide, comfortable, light,
  • Cons:  Might be too for some,
  • Fit:  stiff
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  8.5

Experience:   This one of my favorite boot. It still last me up to this season. I never had any heal lift with this boot since it came with an internal angle strap. Its pretty durable as it last me up till this season, I rested my board on it various times with no issues. Its fit very wide, might not be a good boot for those with narrow feet. Overall great buy for sure.!

  • Name: 2010 Union Force
  • Pros:  Durable, comfortable, easy to adjust,
  • Cons:  Rachet,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   When I first got this binding, it felt that it was super durable. Will definitely last you more than a couple of seasons. Its pretty easy to adjust the biding. The rotation cuff only have two diff angle. The force is a very minimalistic design, comes with everything you need and nothing you dont. One thing I dont like about it is that rachet system...can be hard to get out of the front rachet. It also comes with short screws, so you might have to go buying some longer ones. Overall great binding!

  • Name: 2008 Burton Idiom Street Gloves Liner - Men's
  • Pros:  Warm under your glove, durable, good grip,
  • Cons:  a bit uncomfortable,

Experience:   One a cold day, this is a great item to have with you. It was fit easily into any gloves to keep you warm or can be used alone. It is very well contructed, and since it leather on the palm side, gripping things shouldnt be an issue. Only complaint I have is the sticking, can be a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, great all around liner.

  • Name: 2011 Oakley Crowbar Goggles
  • Pros:  Peripheral vision, comfortable, outridger, no fag,

Experience:   As much as I like my oakley A frame, this one definitely provide better peripheral vision. It has all the attribute of an Aframe with the benefit of better peripheral vision. I never had any fog issue with this goggle. One thing I dont like about it is that it looks kind of bulky. Its good with a helmet, when wear without it, the outrigger really stick out. Other than one, GREAT goggle.

  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Perfect fit, a bit loose

Experience:   I bought this jacket not knowing its not insulated. But its still a good jacket. The fit is a bit loose, and a bit short in term of length. It has pretty much all the feature you would need. Remote pass, recco, the zipper is actually a whistle too. Over all great jacket for layering, wouldnt be too warm as the warmth rating of the jacket is just 4 according to sessions. Definitely a good buy!

Experience:   This is one of my favorite beanie, very comfortable since it has a slouch fit. Best of all its also reversable, great for packing less gear for airline travel. It is thick and has a nice feel to it. Its just a bit itchy for me, but its not big deal. Definitely a great buy!

  • Name: 2011 Smith IO Snowboard Goggles - Men's
  • Pros:  Peri vision, great quality, looks badass, Easy to breath,
  • Cons:  might be big for some,

Experience:   This is one of my favorite goggle of all time. Comes with two lense, one for night and the other for day time riding. Switch between the two lenses is super quick and easy since the goggle does not have a lot of frame involved. This goggle probably has one of the best peri version that I have tried one. It actually isnt a big as people claim, as I compared the size to my A fame, and the foot are nearly comparable. Its easy to breath with this goggle because of the foam design around the nose area. It might be big for something with flat nose ridge. Overall, great goggle.!

  • Pros:  Details, quality,
  • Cons:  not true to size,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Bigger than what you will expect

Experience:   Honestly this is a great jacket. Has all the pockets you will ever need. Oakley paid close attention to the every detail of the jacket. It would have been a great jacket, but even when I got a size small...it seems like it could fit like a large would. This is common in oakley jackets. Just beware that it runs very big. If you are going to buy any oakley jacket, go for regular fit. Other than, the size issue. One of the best jacket I have ever seen.

  • Name: 2011 Burton Gore Tex Under Gloves
  • Pros:  Warm, zipper for vent, goes under your sleeve,
  • Cons:  Bulky,

Experience:   This glove comes with a liner, which is a huge plus. It fit a bit bulky with or without the liner. I would reccomended this glove on a cold day. I also really like the zipper on it so you could vent out if its too hot. Everything feel really comfortable, fit true to size (Exactly), so make sure you measure yourself correctly or at least try it out at the store. As far as the quality goes. Im not sure if this glove hand hold up, the stiching quality isnt are good compare to my dakine glove. But overall, a very good glove.

  • Pros:  Simple design, compact, waterproof,
  • Cons:  fabric feel, not enough pockets,

Experience:   One of the my favorite bag to use for airline travel. It is very compact, and it has wheels for going around. The 156cm bag, once filled will carry everything you will need for a week without worried about it being overweight. The quality is like any other burton gear. One thing I didnt like about it is that it didnt have enough pockets. Other than that, great all around bag. Save yourself the trouble and buy the wheelie version.
"Great Low Profile Glove" 11/7/2010

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Bronco Glove
  • Pros:  looks awesome, low profile, zipper, , easy to get in and out,
  • Cons:  Gets cold,

Experience:   One thing I hate about glove is that its bulky, this glove as the perfect combination of bulk. Its pretty low profile, so its ideal for spring riding. My hand got a bit cold in them while siting on lift. They are completely waterproof as they are Gore-tex. Consider buying a liner with this glove if you are going to buy. Otherwise great glove!
