"Snow White - A Boarder's Dream" 10/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Ride Verona Snowboard Women's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Off Trail,Powder,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Flexible, Fast, Fun

Experience:   This board is a dream come true. It handles and rides very smooth. My previous boards were difficult to maneuverer and did not allow personal improvement. My riding and style is now a fairy tale dream come true. Boards and technology have obviously improved for women riders. Off trail this board handles beautifully and flows with your specific movements. Groomers watch out, this board allows you to really fly down the mountains. I look forward to another few seasons on this board!
"I never thought i would wear a helmet" 10/31/2010

  • Name: 2008 RED Mutiny
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Warm, Fits perfect
  • Cons:  Seems slightly heavy,

Experience:   When i started riding in high school (late '90s) I never thought in a million years I would wear a helmet while I was snowboarding, but my husband and a couple other people I know talked me into trying one on in the store and i couldn't believe how comfy it was so we bought it and here i am a helmet wearer! this thing fits my head like a glove and is warmer than any beanie that I have ever worn. Also, even after a full day with it on my ears don't feel smashed like when i wear my warmer beanies. the other thing i like is the outer shell seems quit tough and doesn't have exposed foam like a bike helmet so i don't feel like i'm going to break it tossing it in the car and stuff.

  • Name: 2007 Smith Anthem Women's
  • Pros:  good anti-fog , comfy and fits with helmet, fits my smatt face perfect

Experience:   I got these goggles like 3 years ago and they are still me go to pair, I use them in all light conditions from bright to night and the clarity is great. olny if you get a ways away from the lights at night does the tint become a problem, but ya its dark there.they have only fogged up on me a handful of times and that was on very wet warn days after a yardsale when there is actualy water in them, dry it out at the bar and your ready to rock again. i am going to be gettin new goggles next season and I will not hesitate to get another pair of Smiths.

  • Name: 2011 Suprft Footbds
  • Pros:  reileved my foot cramping, warm,

Experience:   i was looking at getting custom insoles for my boots when I heard about these and I'm stoked that I found these because they are great! they are super warm, comfy, and supportive, before i had a tiny bit of heel lift on my toe side turns (probably what was causing my foot cramps from holding on with my toes) now its a perfect fit. for me I dont think i would benefit from the custom insoles anymore than the superfeet not to mention they are like $100 cheaper!
"Padding and power" 11/2/2010

  • Name: 2009 Ride DVA Platinum Snowboard Bindings - Women's
  • Pros:  comfy straps, great padding in the baseplate,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are strong and highly responsive. The straps are well padded (so reduces any pain and no numb toes from strapping in too tight) and really lock the boot in for increased maneuverability. The ratchets on the binding are easy to use. The straps run through very smooth and it's easy to lock them up tight. My only qualm with these bindings was that if I took them down a run where I made some aggressive turns, the toe strap on my leading foot came loose (using it as an over the toe strap). Generally, it just needs a quick tightening; but on one run the toe cap came off completely. It may just be mine needing adjusting, and no one else seems to have had this problem though. I have a pair of ThirtyTwo boots in a size 8.5, and the Large size binding fits perfectly. The recommendations are that 8+ go for the large, but generally I'm an 8-8.5 in boots and they were spot on. From a girl's looks perspective, I think that they look great in the white/gold. I have received a lot of compliments on them as they aren't just the same old black bindings that cover the mountains everywhere. All in all, these are a great set of bindings - Highly recommended.
