"Fit great over my glasses" 11/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Oakley L Frame Snowboard Goggles Ski Black/Persimmon - Men's
  • Pros:  Fits prescription eyewear, comfortable, doesn't fog
  • Cons:  lens color,

Experience:   These have worked great for riding with my glasses so far. they fit great and don't get fogged up and have stood up to a lot of riding. the only thing i really don't like is the lens color, but thats not that big a deal
"Fell off really quickly" 11/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Pyramid Studs Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Good grip, Get snow of boots ,
  • Cons:  fall off,

Experience:   I rode with this stomp pad all last season, and after a couple days of riding two of the spikes fell off. another three or so weeks, another one fell off. the last 6 i have on still work, but it looks kinda silly now. they work really well if they stay on your board
"GNU is awesome" 11/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 GNU Carbon Credit Series BTX Wide Snowboard 162 - Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,Park,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  good park board, not too expensive,
  • Cons:  kinda stiff, not a lot of pop,

Experience:   rode this board for a while last year. I really liked it, it worked great on groomers and just carving for a freestyle board. the magne traction is great for the less than ideal conditions on the east coast. My only problem with it is that it didn't pop that much and it was stiff, but overall its a pretty good board. I also love that they're hand made in washington.
"Good Board!" 12/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton The Hero Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Good Flex, Versatile,
  • Cons:  High Speeds,

Experience:   I rode this board the first week of the new season. My initial reaction is that it is a great, versatile board. Its not as soft as my www and dominant, so it won't be my normal park board, but it can do park and all mountain better than my other non park boards can do. I personally like the p-rocker the dominant has over the v-rocker, but thats just me. This is a really good all around versatile board that you can do everything on.
"Good Jacket, wish it had a detachable hood" 12/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Vans Landen Insulated Snowboard Jacket - Men's
  • Pros:  Warm, Jacket/Pants connection,
  • Cons:  Hood,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   This jacket has served me well. It fits great, its warm, and it clips onto my pants so I don't get any snow up my shirt. The only thing I don't like is that the hood isn't detachable, and its not that comfortable riding with the jacket all the way zipped up and the hood off. Also, the hood doesn't fit over my helmet. This jacket would be perfect if the hood could be detached.
"Great skate shoes" 11/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Etnies Jameson 2 Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  comfortable, durable,

Experience:   Use these almost everyday longboarding to class, and occasionally riding a normal skateboard. they're super comfortable and have a lot of padding for when i fall. i also love their slim profile; they're not bulky like so many other skate shoes.
"Pretty good" 11/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  good value, adjustability,
  • Cons:  soft,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   these are pretty good bindings for the money. I got them as a first pair of bindings and they lasted me a good 3 seasons. they were a little soft for shredding around all mountain but were great for the park. for the money though i think the union flites work better, but these aren't a bad choice
"great starter boot" 11/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Tribute
  • Pros:  Good value, comfortable,
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  11.5
  • Boot Size:  11.5

Experience:   This was the first snowboard boot i got, and it served me well for over 3 seasons. For the price, its got great comfort and durability. if you're pressed for cash, this boot is perfect
"Awesome" 11/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Vans BFB
  • Pros:  comfortable, good support,
  • Cons:  none,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11.5
  • Boot Size:  11.5

Experience:   I got these boots last season, and rode them hard for 50+ days on my university ski and snowboard team. great boots! they were super comfortable, fit my foot great, and held up. the only thing that happened was i broke a lace tying them up one time. other than that i have no complaints, my feet have been happy
"Decent ear buds" 11/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Skullcandy Smokin Buds
  • Pros:  cheap,
  • Cons:  break easy, uncomfortable,

Experience:   I had a pair and the left ear bud went out after 3 months and the right bud actually broke off. Besides that they were pretty decent for the price. Not the best sound quality but for $20 its ok.
"Just alright" 11/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Skullcandy Hesh
  • Pros:  Decent sounding for price,
  • Cons:  Small Ear Cups, Sterile,

Experience:   I got these because I wanted a pair of over the ear headphones, and I was slightly disappointed. The ear cups are very small and get uncomfortable very quickly. The sound ok for $35, but they definitely sound sterile and flat. They don't have good bass response at all. I'd recommend spending more money on some sennheiser headphones and staying clear of skull candy in general as i've used a lot of their stuff and been underwhelmed.
