"Fantastic gloves that last" 11/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Baker Under Gloves
  • Pros:  Warm and comfortable, durable palm material, good pricing as compared to other gloves

Experience:   Ive had my gloves since 07 and they are still just as awesome as the day I got them. The only reason I'm getting new gloves this season is because my hands grew out of these. The Bakers are fantastic gloves that look cool, will keep your paws warm, and will last many years. I highly recommend getting them when they are on sale right away! you will not regret it when it's 18 degrees and your face is numb but your hands are cozy.
"A Must Have" 11/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Demon Snowboard Edge Tuner
  • Pros:  long lasting file, perfect angle, portable

Experience:   I always have my edge sharpener in my backpack, and this is the one I carry. I use it periodically to keep my edges in prime shape. It's just a cheap and important thing to have.
"Best Value Board This Year" 12/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton The Hero Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  V-Rocker, Sintered Base, The Channel

Experience:   I honestly love this board. It is unimaginably fun on anything and everything the mountain throws at you. The sintered base is very fast and holds a lot of wax, it has the channel system which is the best tech in all snowboarding, The graphics are simple yet poppy, and buttering is a freaking breeze. The best all around board on the market hands down.
"Best Reverse Camber Board" 12/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Sierra Reverse Crew Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  poppy nose and tail, reverse camber, sintered base
  • Cons:  A bit shaky at higher speeds,

Experience:   This is my one and only rocker board and it effin rocks. Cannot be prouder of it in all conditions. It feels most at home in the park though, due to its forgiving lifted edges. Buttering is effortless and carving is fun. This is an all around fun board to ride, no matter what the mountain throws at you.
"Great little piece of plastic" 12/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Dakine Mega Blaster Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  easy to grip, small size, plenty of bits with nice storage
  • Cons:  not the sturdiest tool,

Experience:   A great tool to have in your back pack. It is small and light weight so you honestly won't even know it's there till you need it. the handle is easy to grip with gloves on and the plethora of bits are stowed away nicely. When really tightening down screws though, it feels a bit flimsy, like the plastic is bending and torquing in a way it shouldn't, but I'm pretty sure I have nothing to worry about.
"Amazing goggles" 12/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Dragon DX Goggles
  • Pros:  comfy face foam (great wicking), good peripheral vision, good quality lens
  • Cons:  made for a smaller face,

Experience:   I just ordered these last month because they look interesting and I trust Dragon goggles. I tried them on and I was disappointed on how small the frame is. I have a med/large face so thats my problem. Instead if returning them I decided to give them as a present to my little brother and they are perfect for him. He's 15 and a decent sized kid with a narrow face so the frame wraps his head well. The peripheral vision is fantastic for a flat-lens (as opposed to a spherical lens) and the clarity is what I have come to expect from Dragon. He's already been out with them and he said they did not fog once and the face foam was very comfortable. For the $20 I payed, I'd say this was a fantastic deal on some very good goggles
"Awesome Pants" 11/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Poacher Insulated Snowboard Pants - Men's
  • Pros:  decently insulated, not too baggy, plenty of pocket space
  • Cons:  too much sitting = soggy butt,
  • Pant Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  loose but not baggy

Experience:   I've had these now for a few seasons and they are awesome. The price tag is very reasonable, the lining is soft and warm so no layer is even needed, there is plenty of pocket space (2 butt, 2 side, 1 big thigh), and the fit is very roomy with plenty of space to move around without it being too baggy. But because the water proofing isn't outstanding, sitting in the snow gives you soggy butt. But even then it is very minor saggy butt, you won't even notice it the rest of the day.
"The Best Gloves" 11/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton RPM Leather Gloves Men's
  • Pros:  Super warm, great water proofing, high quality leather
  • Cons:  zipper can be a pain in the butt,

Experience:   I just got these gloves and I am in love. They are very soft inside and they stay very warm when the thermometer drops. The liner has good wicking so I don't get clammy hands. The leather is soft and well treated, as well as tough and durable. Really the only minor flaw is that the zipper doesn't always stay fully zipped. I have larger wrists so that is most likely the problem.
"Meh" 11/29/2010

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Nano Driver Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  small, very handy,
  • Cons:  hard to grip with gloves, hurts a lot when you land on it,

Experience:   It is a very small and nifty driver to have on you on the mountain, but you really have to take off your gloves to get a decent grip on it, and even then if it's wet it's hard without gloves. Also, landing on it with it in your pocket will result in the worst charlie horse ever because of how round it is.
"Decent goggles" 11/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Smith Fuse Snowboard Goggles Mirror Lens - Men's
  • Pros:  Good peripheral vision, soft face foam,
  • Cons:  pinch my nose making it hard to breath, sub-par anti-fog,

Experience:   I've had these now for a few years and over-all they are good goggles, especially for their price. The face foam is nice and soft and it doesn't itch my face and the lens provides a good amount of peripheral vision. The nose gap is small though causing it to pinch my nose almost shut making it hard to breath. And the lens itself gets fogged up more and more often now that the anti-fog has basically warn off. The frame will fit a large sized face too which is a plus.
"Best stomp pad" 11/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Medium Spike Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  scraper is great at getting snow off boots, rounded metal spikes provide excellent grip, sticks great when done correctly

Experience:   I cleaned off my deck with rubbing alcohol before I stuck it so I know it's not coming off. The large rubber scraper in the middle is great for grip as well as getting snow off your boot. I really like how the little metal spikes are rounded on the tip because I also fear that sharp spikes will mess up the sole of my boot. It is a fantastic pad which is why the price is higher than others. You get what you pay for with Burton.
"Great Starter Kit" 11/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine Super Tune Snowboard Tune Kit
  • Pros:  includes every thing needed for tuning, good iron with multiple temps, convenient case

Experience:   Every thing you need to tune your board is in here. The iron is a good mini iron that has multiple temperature settings so you know exactly how hot it is so you don't burn your board. The scraper is long enough to reach across the width of the board so no extra passes are needed. The edge tool is an average file that gets the job done. The pocket stone is great at getting the burrs of the edges. I never detune my edges so the big hand file is still unused. The wax is mediocre though, thats the only bad part. Overall I am very happy with the kit though, It saves me a lot of money and time tuning my own board now.
"Good replacement files" 11/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Dakine Replacement Snowboard Files
  • Pros:  Fit quite a few tuners, fine grit,

Experience:   I've had my Demon tuner for a couple of years so the original file on it has long been worn down. Thankfully, instead of going out and buying another tuner, you can get 2 replacements for less than some tuners. The grit is small and sharp and it does what I want.
"A Good Shoe Actually" 11/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Circa 8 Track Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  cool and simple design, comfortable ,
  • Cons:  sole wears out pretty quickly,

Experience:   I don't normally like Circa's but these caught my eye. So I tried them on and they actually fit really nicely, so I picked em up. They were very comfortable and the construction and material held up quite nicely. But I noticed about 4 months into them that the sole was already worn down badly, like a few scuffs away from putting a hole in the bottom of my shoe. So if you want a good shoe that fits great but won't last too long, these are good shoes. Also they have a good amount of width to fit my fat foot comfortably, so there's a big plus too.
"6.0's" 11/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Nike 6.0 Air Mogan Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  comfortable, Strong construction,
  • Cons:  Narrower ,

Experience:   I have the black and white with the red and they are awesome! They have a good amount of color but they're not too flashy like some other Nike's. I wear a size 12 and I have a wider foot than most and Nike's run a bit narrow so it took a little bit of time to break them in and stretch them out. But other than that, the inside is very cush and they are good at impact absorption.
"Classics" 11/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Vans Authentic Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  Cool and classic design, comfortable, inexpensive
  • Cons:  rip easily, terrible in rain,

Experience:   I cannot tell you how many pairs I've had of these over the years. They are a very solid constant in skate shoes and you know exactly what you are getting when you buy em. All that good stuff being said, The clothe is not the most durable stuff in the world. Flip tricks on your board over time will rip em easily. Also, not a good winter shoe. Once they're wet, they will stay wet and cold all day. But I still go back to vans time and time again.
"Good cold layer" 11/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Lightweight Badlands VNeck Pullover Men's
  • Pros:  looks cool enough just to wear, warm under layer, soft material
  • Cons:  sleeves are pretty long, baggy around the torso,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  baggy and long sleeves

Experience:   I just picked this up last week and I've been wearing it under my rain coat and overall I am happy with mt decision. It is a warm under layer and green looks cool. That being said, I don't like hoe much extra material there is in the torso region. It's not ridiculous, but its more than I prefer. The sleeves are also longer sleeves so they bunch up at the wrists. I do like this shirt a lot, it's just not the best is all I'm saying.
"Holy Geez!" 11/21/2010

  • Name: 2008 Thats It Thats All Travis Rice Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  Some of the best freeriding I've ever seen,

Experience:   I've literally watched this now every night for the past week when I got it from my board shop. I am beyond amped now to go snowboarding. This has a tremendous amount of production value actually (red bull and ESPN together) so the funding behind everything is insane. Travis Rice is now my favorite boarder. Jeremy Jones is also a legendary freerider, and he does not disappoint. If you so much as even think the sport of snowboarding is interesting, you need to see this.
"Very warm but fogs up goggles" 11/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Adept Clava - Men's
  • Pros:  Soft and warm material, Not open areas to the cold,
  • Cons:  Breathing too hard fogs up goggles,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Well formed to fit snugly around your head

Experience:   I borrowed this from a friend last year on a very cold day and it was great at keeping my face warm. It's also good at keeping the wind out so it's not drafty and you won't get wind burn. But I noticed after a long power run when I'm breathing hard, my breath would get channeled up to my goggles and they would get totally fogged up! Luckily this only happened on the bottom before I got on the lift so I wasn't too bothered. So I guess if you can channel your breathing downward, there won't be a problem at all.
"Great Bandanna " 11/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Bandito Facemask - Men's
  • Pros:  very soft material against your face, Great wind protection, Good for under goggle fit
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  As tight as you want it to be because its a tieback

Experience:   I hate getting wind-burn, so I picked this up last year at the beginning of the season and never rode without it. It is fairly thick actually so your face will stay very warm, even on the coldest of days. The lining on the face-side is very soft and doesn't itch, which important for a long comfortable day of riding.Another big thing I liked was that breathing didn't fog up my goggles like my old bandanna did, even when it's under my goggles. It also stays on my face very nicely so I don't have to keep adjusting it throughout the day.
"Hard to use with gloves" 11/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Protec IPS Wristguards - Men's
  • Pros:  great wrist protection, not itchy like other types,
  • Cons:  hard to fit under gloves,

Experience:   As far as wrist protectors go these are great, but when it come to wearing gloves over them it's difficult. My gloves are small enough as it is, and with my wrist guards it, its neigh impossible to get my gloves on. Si I guess if you have small enough wrists and enough room in your gloves, these are perfect. I find it easier to simply wrap my wrists with athletic tape. It does the same job minus the amount of space being taken up.
"Fantastic Helmet" 11/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Red Mutiny Snowboard Helmet
  • Pros:  low profile, very warm yet well vented, strong shell
  • Cons:  pricey when not on sale,

Experience:   I've had my helmet for a while now and I love it. It keeps my head and ears very warm as well as keeps my noggin safe, which is more important. The liner is soft and comfy and the shell is very hard and durable. The chinstrap can be a bit itchy at times though, but that is very minor. I've tried on many goggles with this and for the most part they all fitted with it quite nicely as well.
"Super Warm and Very Comfortable" 11/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Bern Baker Snowboard Helmet Black Seth Wescott w/ Black Audio Men's
  • Pros:  very comfy liner, warm insulation, good sound system
  • Cons:  no vents,

Experience:   Bern makes great and comfortable helmets, and this is their best (in my opinion). The integrated headset is fantastic and sounds a lot better than other headphones and built-ins. It is a very warm helmet, partially because there are no vent holes, but the liner is good with airflow throughout the helmet. The speakers are perfectly over the ear in the 2011's too which is a plus from previous models.
"My Next Pair!" 11/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton RPM Gloves
  • Pros:  Very warm, very durable leather, great water proofing
  • Cons:  zipper,

Experience:   These are my friends back-up gloves, So last season I got to wear them all season and I love them! They are very warm when the temp drops hard, they are super water proof, the leather is of great quality and they look very nice. The only down side is the zipper. It can be a pain in the ars sometimes when trying to zip up the other glove when you already have one glove on. But honestly other than that, this if a fantastic glove. I'm getting it this year for sure though.
"A Good Warm Weather Glove" 11/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Oakley Pavement Snowboard Gloves - Men's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Slim design, durable palm
  • Cons:  Not very insulated,

Experience:   This is a good glove for the spring when its gets warm. This is not a dead of winer glove! I picked this up for about $20 bucks so I got a deal, and it's the only way I would have gotten this glove. I wear it as a casual, off-mountain glove sometimes too because its slim enough and looks good. I'd say if its above 45 on the slopes, this is a good glove to wear.
"Good for on-mountain waxing" 11/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Dakine High Octane Rub On Snowboard Wax ( Oz)
  • Pros:  Easy to apply, fairly fast wax,
  • Cons:  good for one day basically, not comparable to a hot wax,

Experience:   This is good just to have in your backpack just in case you forgot to hot wax and you know your base is feeling a bit dry. It does not replace hot waxing at all, this is only a temporary fix to a slow base. But all you do is rub it on, so it literally takes less than 10 minutes. And for a rub-on, this is fairly quick compared to other rub-ons.
"Great Riding Backpack" 11/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Day Hiker 12L
  • Pros:  Compact enough to not get in the way, Enough space to fit whatever the day will require, bladder capable

Experience:   This is my riding-only backpack and it is fantastic. I can easily fit all my tools, snacks for the day, an extra jacket in case it gets too cold, whatever I need. It is water proof enough to keep all my goods nice and dry as well. Also, putting a water bladder ion it is HIGHLY recommended. It will save $ on the slopes because you won't have to buy any drinks(except if you want a beer)and its nice having the convenience of being able to have some water mid-run. It is small enough to not get in the way or throw me off balance when riding too. And when the mood strikes to hike to find a nice spot, the board strap is a godsend.
"OK for non-riding" 11/17/2010

  • Name: 2009 Skullcandy Smokin Buds Earbuds
  • Pros:  comfortable in ear, snug, won't fall out easy,
  • Cons:  pain in the ars to fiddle with with gloves on, shrill sound quality,

Experience:   These should be looked at for wearing when you don't have gloves on. Snowboarding with these things is not smart. if you want to adjust them you need to take off your gloves to do so because tweaking them with gloves on is impossible. Also, after a while I got a splitting head ache because they would amplify a lot of the high frequencies. So if your hearing isn't too sensitive, these will be ok for you.
"Great replacement straps!" 11/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Get A Grip Snowboard Binding Capstrap Black
  • Pros:  Very secure hold over the toe, doesn't slip off, Doesn't pinch anywhere when fully tightened

Experience:   My Burton freestyle's came with a decent cap strap a few years back, but, through ware and tear, my straps starting getting sliced up big time from my edges. Thankfully I found these for cheap from a local store, because I really like the feel of cap straps. These straps feel sturdier than my old straps as well as more secure. They don't slide off either when carving hard or landing off. Basically, if you don't already have 2011 bindings, I'd say get this strap if you like cap straps. More likely than not it will be better than the strap you have.

  • Name: 2006 Nixon The Rotolog Watch - Men's
  • Pros:  Easy to tell time, wood inlay looks very classy, not too big and doesn't weigh that much

Experience:   This is my favorite watch, even above other watches I've seen. The mechanism is very cool and revolutionary. The time can be read surprisingly easily and it weighs next to nothing. the face is decent in size, so its not one of those huge faces that many people are digging right now. I've worn mine almost everyday now for the past several years and it is still perfect, minus a few minor scratches. I highly recommend this watch to anyone.

  • Name: 2009 Dakine Lightweight Badlands Pants
  • Pros:  Good wicking, Very warm, Not itchy
  • Cons:  just a wee bit baggy,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Just a bit loose, not as skin tight as others

Experience:   I board Mt Hood (Oregon) and it gets pretty cold, but just these and my non-insulated pants are perfect! And even in the spring when it starts warming up it wicks the sweat very well, so I am beyond satisfied. I need another pair of thermals to be honest and more than likely I will get another pair of these. Over all, These are good for the coldest days as well as the warm ones.

  • Name: 2009 Bonfire Baker
  • Pros:  Very warm, good water proofing, comfortable fit
  • Cons:  hard to move with under layers, a bit long,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Crew fit (between baggy and slim)

Experience:   first off, I love this jacket. It has plenty of pocket space and is nicely insulated. However, on the really cold days when another good layer is needed under it, it gets a bit constricting. Not too too bad, but enough to notice. Also, I'm not a fan of baggy fits, so this is a bit longer than I expected (it goes below my waist) I've learned to like it now but it just caught me off guard las season. Other than that this is one of my favorite jackets! The color is bright too so it's nice too stand out.

  • Name: 2008 Adio Marx RE Skate Shoes - Men's
  • Pros:  good looking style,
  • Cons:  heel material frays easily,

Experience:   These shoes are good looking but the material in the shoe where the heel rubs against sucks. It would grab hold of my socks and with every step my heel would slip out of my socks. And on top of that after about maybe a month and a half, the material was completely gone from being worn down, leaving an uncomfortable piece of plastic exposed. I was very disappointed with these shoes.

  • Name: 2009 DVS Munition CT Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, good amount of toe-wiggle room,
  • Cons:  thin sole,

Experience:   I've owned 2 pairs of these shoes because they are truly great shoes. The one thing that did piss me off was how quickly the soles of both pairs wore down! the first pair lasted about 4 months and the second barely got 5 months! If they lasted longer, I'd get them again. They are very comfortable and they take hardly any time to break in. Also, I wear a 12 and I have some wide feet, but these shoes had a great amount of room in them so I was very satisfied.

  • Name: 2010 Flow Weekend Warrior Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Plenty of room to fit all my gear, cool looking bag,
  • Cons:  Not the most padded bag, Material frays a bit over time,

Experience:   I've had this bag for all last season and it was absolutely perfect. I could fit my board + a friends board, gloves, shell, and even my boots! I also used this to travel as I will also be doing soon to come back up to Oregon with it. One thing I've learned about this bag is that it does not have good enough padding to protect your board on flights! So the best idea I've come up with is getting some pool noodles (foam pool toys), cutting a slit in them and wrapping my edges with them. It's just out of precaution. But The material along the edges isn't holding up too well. It's getting frayed pretty badly around the tip and tail areas. So I'd say this is more of a gig bag and not too much of a traveling bag.

  • Description:  tighter for people with thicker legs

Experience:   I have larger legs so these naturally fit tighter. I'm not usually one to go after tight jeans, but these are perfect. They are not like form fit, but they are slim cut. But once worn for a few days to break them in, they are the best pair of jeans I own.

  • Cons:  expensive, not water proof,

Experience:   These sandals only get better with time! They are long term sandals and they are awesome! That being said, if and when they get wet, do not dry them out in the sun. The leather will warp and the sandal will look stupid.

  • Name: 2009 Reef Fanning Sandals Women's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Bottle opener, Durable

Experience:   I've had these for a few years and they are only getting more comfortable the more I break them in. The under-foot bottle opened is used more than frequently, it's just so convenient!

  • Name: 2010 Volcom Moma Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  warm, comfortable, perfect fit
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  not baggy but not slim/ the middle ground of the two

Experience:   Last season this was my go-to jacket. It allowed a sweatshirt to fit under it for mid season and was warm enough to wear by itself late in the season. An all-around great shell.

  • Name: 2007 LTD LT10 Snowboard Bindings Kid's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, light weight,

  • Name: 2008 LTD Flash Snowboard - Boy's
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed
  • Pros:  Forgiving edges that are harder to catch, great low price,
  • Cons:  a bit heavy maybe,

Experience:   This was my little brothers first snowboard and he picked up the sport rather quickly. His edges didn't catch nearly as much as I though they should have, so that was a big plus.

  • Name: 2010 K2 Auto
  • Pros:  fast strap up, perfect amount of flex,
  • Cons:  bad capstrap,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These things really save a lot of time when you get off the lift. just put your foot in and strap up the ankle and the toe strap magically tightens. But for the riders who like an over the toe cap strap, you will be disappointed with this one. Its more designed to be on top of the toes.

  • Name: 2011 K2 Cinch CTC Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  easy and fast on/off, sturdy and stiff,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   I demo'd these and to be honest i was doubtful at how well they would perform. But damn was I wrong! They are the best slip in bindings by far, they wrap your boot just as well if not better than standard bindings. They are also easy and fast to trap into. Your ski buddies won't bitch about you taking forever to strap up any more.

  • Name: 2009 Skullcandy Gift Pack Gold Icon Headphones/Bandana/Blinger Necklace
  • Pros:  nice and cheap, great sound quality, easy to use on slopes with gloves

Experience:   I've had my Icons for a while and I mainly use them for snowboarding because they are so much better than buds. And if they brake, which its not looking like happening anytime soon, they are cheap enough to go out and get right away.
"Perfect Board Tool" 11/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Burton Bullet Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  strong bits, sturdy plastic, easy torque
  • Cons:  expensive,

Experience:   I borrowed this from my friend to tighten a loose binding screw and it was exactly what I needed. I want one for myself, but the price tag is a bit high.

  • Name: 2010 DVS Daewon9 Almost Love Child Skate Shoes - Men's
  • Pros:  comfortable, not too loud (showy), sturdy

Experience:   I own 2 pairs of shoes, one of them being the Love Childs, and you can be damn sure it's going to be my next pair. They have enough color to be unique and poppy, but they are not too showy like some other dumb skate shoes.

Also, the footbed is very comfortable, it takes a few days to mold to your foot. but after that they feel great. The sole lasts a long time, even through the past 4 months of daily skating. The fit is snug so they won't feel sloshy and loose as well.

  • Name: 2010 Volcom Enowen Jean
  • Pros:  durable fabric , comfortable,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  tighter for people with thicker legs

Experience:   My legs are on the thicker end of the spectrum, so my jeans are a bit snugger than they would fit on others, but they don't restrict my movement at all surprisingly. Once worn for a few days to break em in, they are literally perfect. My favorite pair by far.

  • Name: 2010 Burton Hail Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Crazy comfy, great price,
  • Cons:  none,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  12
  • Boot Size:  12

Experience:   These boots will assist you in any area of the mountain under any condition. I've had my Hails since 2008 and they are the best boot I've ever slid my foot into. I have a wide foot and these wrap it perfectly. They are very flexible very durable. I recommend heat molding because it saves so much time as well.

  • Name: 2009 Burton Foam Mat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  long lasting adhesive, low price,
  • Cons:  the foam gets a bit torn up after a while, gets easily covered,

Experience:   This little pad came with my Burton Hail boots, and it's been on my board for over 3 seasons. I was surprised at how well it worked at first, but then as the day goes on, more and more snow gets packed over it to the point where I'm kicking off snow to get to the pad. It's not really that much of a hassle to be honest. But It's not going to last many more runs because the foam is getting pretty torn up.

  • Name: 2010 Burton Freestyle
  • Pros:  Nice and forgiving, Great price,
  • Cons:  A bit too soft for all mountain,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I got these because of their price, and they are very good bindings for the deal. But as an all mountain rider, I feel as though I'm putting out more effort to carve at higher speeds. But when I roll over to the features, they are very forgiving.

  • Name: 2011 Burton Cord Snowboard Leash
  • Pros:  Strong, Small,
  • Cons:  Hard to unclip with gloves,

Experience:   Ive only had to rely on my leash once and this one worked thankfully. But, clipping it on and off is kind of a pain in the ass. when the metal is wet, its slippery with gloves on.

  • Name: 2010 Rossignol One Mag Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Magnetraction, Stiffer feel, Good Pop
  • Cons:  Poor on Rails,

Experience:   I like to go fast and carve hard, and this board allows me to do so. The 7 points of contact with Magnetraction dig into the icy hard crap as well as the fluff. This also means this is not a beginners board. The edges loves to stay rooted into the snow. It will also go and do anything on the mountain (rails are the tough part because detuning would be useless). So if you want one board to do everything, Rossignol One Mag.
