"Shredder" 2/28/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Capita Indoor Survival FK Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Jibs,Off Trail,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Stable but playful, Great float, great edge hold with sharp edges

Experience:   I bought this board after eyeing it all last season. It is fairly comfortable at high speed, even over bumpy terrain. With new sharp edges it held up pretty well on hard pack snow. The past two days I have been riding it in the powder. For its length (152) it has pretty good float. It's super easy to keep the tip above the snow and has great maneuverability for bombing it though the trees. I actually haven't ridden it in the park much, but I have done a few boxes and medium size jumps and it seems to perform fine. It might be a bit stiff for park specific riding but for a park/all mountain board its pretty freaking awesome. Graphics are nice too with my all black bindings.
"Great Binding" 3/5/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Cartel Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Many adjustments (Tool Less), Comfortable, Light
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are great. They are incredibly comfortable. If you don't crank them down too tight, it really feels like your just wearing your boots. These are my first bindings with a tor cap, and I must say it's freakin' awesome. The black on black is really nice as well.
"Nice Sock" 9/4/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Buffer Snowboard Socks
  • Pros:  Comphy, Warm, Not too thick
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Just right

Experience:   Nice sock that keeps my feet warm without being too thick. I have a problem of ripping the heels out of my socks, and these show no signs of rippage. I have an expensive pair of Stance socks that ripped after only a few times out.
"Comes Loose" 9/4/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 DON'T LOADSalomon Faction Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Warm, Comfortable, Quick to get in
  • Cons:  Hard to keep upper tight,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  9

Experience:   These boots were a huge upgrade from my 04/05 Rode boots that killed my feet. Those of course had laces, so this system is a whole lot quicker than what I was used to. One flaw though is how the pinching system works. It' hard to get the string all the way in there to keep it tight. The inner seems to come loose more than the outer, but I found myself cranking on them all day. They still have don't have that much riding on them and maybe its just a matter of me packing them in, but I don't think that's the whole problem. Regardless, these are still a great value boot.
"Solid" 3/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2011 Giro G9 Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Adjustable Fit,
  • Cons:  Odd Vent Covers,

Experience:   Great helmet, has pockets in ear pads for headphones. Ear pads can be removed and helmet could be used for mountain biking or other summer activities. Vents aren't exactly easy to adjust as it involves removing flaps from inside the helmet.
"Toboggan" 1/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2007 Optimistic Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  Toboggan Skills, Back country, Rails

Experience:   Plenty to go around with this video. Features a good amount of all types of terrain. Features the sport with more history than snowboarding, tobogganing.
"Crisp" 1/3/2011

  • Name: 2008 Thats It Thats All Travis Rice Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  Amazing Visuals, Back-country,
  • Cons:  Lacking in park stuff,

Experience:   First snowboard video shot In HD. All done on film. Amazing helicopter flight opening. No jibing but plenty of Back-country kickers and pow.
"Unisex" 1/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Slopestyle
  • Pros:  Unisex,
  • Cons:  Ugly color,
  • Fit:  Too small
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  A little tight but still fine.

Experience:   Not sure how I ended up with these, since I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have bought a pair of womens socks, but I do use these as one of my main pairs of socks. They are slightly too small for my feet, so they are a little snug, but I would much rather have them too tight than too loose. They don't look at all girly, so I guess if your a guy smaller feet you could use these just fine.
"Classic" 1/2/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2011 Electric EG.5 Goggles
  • Pros:  Low Cost, Simple Look, Extra Lense?
  • Cons:  Fog,

Experience:   I've owned a pair of these for a few years and have no major issues with them. When I bought them it came with a spare lense and it doesn't seem like it comes with one when you buy from here. I've never used it anyways as it is only suitable low light conditions. I like the simple styling of these compared to other goggles. They will stand the test of time as far as styling trends go. Recently they have been fogging on me, but it may be due to lack of ventilation from wearing my hood over them.
